Delivery was on time, food was tasty. I wish this website had stated that you get free Prawn Crackers when you order over £17 as I ordered some so ended up with double. They're big bags so no doubt some will go to waste which is a shame.

I've been ordering from use for over 15 year . Our last delivery was missing 2 items and you said you would rectify it on the next order . I called tonight and you didn't honour that agreement and then put the phone down . You have lost a great customer and I will be sharing this with the area as I no alot of the community.

Food was lovely. On time and good quality. Was missing my can of juice though.

long wait for food from initial order estimate. the beef n black bean super gloopy and overpowering. usually its fine but tonight a definite off night.

Based on reviews I never ordered from here. However last night I asked neighbours and most suggested this takeaway. I was very surprised! Best noodles I have ever had! The sweet and sour chicken was so beautiful. We will be back!!! Maybe the chicken with ginger and spring onion had too much onion for our liking but still was great and cooked to perfection.

Delivery driver was excellent. We thought we had paid through app but had instead selected cash. we had no cash in house and had to scramble to a bank machine. He came back later and collected cash once his shift was finished. Great service, didn't catch the mans name he is one of the good ones.

Cheap, fast and tasty. Ingredients seemed pretty good, sizes are good. I ordered on my way home from work and picked up a few minutes later.

Never had a bad meal, any meal I had from New Fortune Cookie was really nice

Food was great but I was let down by the juice that I recieved. Not only was it a 1.75 bottle instead of a 2, it was the wrong one. I ordered the cola zero and was given the full sugar original. Not happy.

I do order from this place regularly and on the whole it’s pretty good. I’d stay away from the Salt and Chilli ribs as they are more bony of cuts than ribs.

Can’t fault the restaurant in any way if you need something done to one of your dishes just call the restaurant and there happy todo what you want

The spring rolls arrived like mush. They were soft and sticking to the bag. Food was cold. Not good on this occasion.

Food was a bit bland not much flavour on the ribs and chips were not cooked fully cooked that were mushy 1st time using place was highly recommend to me I was very disappointed in food quality

Ordered special chow mein and crispy won tons. Delivery was on time and driver was polite and professional. food wise though: the chow mein was ok, but won tons were folded flat with almost no filling inside at all. Overall disappointed due to quality of second dish.

Exceptional Food & Service... we are at the Sick Kids Hospital and the Fortune Cookie was recommended to us by a fellow parent staying at the hospital. The food arrived warm, fresh and so delicious. Arrival time was spot on, yeah we waited but the wait was worth it 😋.

I really enjoy my food from New Fortune Cookie. Always delivered on time or before. Delivery drivers always really pleasant The shop have always been so helpful. I have a memory problem and sometimes order for collection. They call me and allow me to redo for delivery.

Ordered 2 vegetable spring rolls and got 2 spring rolls containing chicken , pork as well as been sprouts . Also prawn Ko po had far too much chilli in it . Disappointed.

First time ordering from here as our usual was closed so didn't know what to expect. The food arrived super hot, really well cooked and tasted delicious, 100 times better than where we used to go. They've just become our new usual, well deserving of the local legend title.

Usually love the food from here but today the whole order came cold. The curry sauce had set and was thick and chunky and the chicken chow mein was cold like it had been sitting in a fridge. Lots of little black burnt pieces on the noodles too. Won't be ordering again.

the food was delivered on time however the delivery driver practically was throwing the food at me when I opened door to collect it as if he was in a rush to get away the food nearly landed on the ground he was so quick I expect the person to be delivering food not to have an attitude and at least be civil also not having my food thrown at me in future would be fantastic

I have ordered from this restaurant before and have had food delivered to my address. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed I ordered a meal this evening as I had waited an hour on my food, only to be told they don't deliver to my area now due to the distance. No one phoned me back or emailed me to inform me of this, I will now have to wait in my card payment being refunded but have had to order elsewhere now. This is clearly not good business practice.

Really Impressed with the food from the New Fortune Cookie! We ordered via Just Eat when at a friends in Marchmont and the delivery came in less than 30 mins. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Im now driving from Midlothian to collect food from the New Fortune Cookie because it so good! Highly recommend the crispy shredded chicken in chili & honey sauce! The Salt & Chili chips are also some of the best ive had. Looking forward to ordering again soon.

the deep fried “crispy” chicken was incredibly chewy and off-putting. was really disappointed with it. the food was only lukewarm, not hot, and the bbq sauce for ribs was starting to congeal. really not good. wouldn’t order again any time soon

We ordered two portions of lemon chicken but it was served with a sweet and sour sauce with a lemon slice on top. The chicken was overcooked in all the chicken dishes we ordered. .A total spend of £73.30 - very disappointed in the quality .

The food was lovely and fresh and the portions were fairly decent. I can't say it was worth the price though, £35 for two meals was a bit much!

The chips were extremely dry nothing about them were salt and chilli. the honey chilli chicken is misleading, more like sweet chilli sauce. The menu items should be described clearer. The wings were decent but still rather bland. The chicken satay wasn’t bad.

It toke longer than the 45mons it stated but I was ent bothered about that the delivery was friendly and polite when it did arrive But the food was really awful no taste at all defo don’t recommend would give no stars if I could 🤢

Delivery time on order screen was 40-55mins. Delivery time on completed order was 65-85mins. Food arrived lukewarm. Shame because the outlet is normally good

Order didn't turn up, tried calling the restaurant but the line was dead!

Bought a few meals ..asked for a specific time and gave them 90 minutes notice after 2 hours it arrived … BUT WITH A COMPLETELY DIFFERENT ORDER TO WHAT WE HAD ORDERED .unbelievable 🙃🙃WE HAD TO WAIT EVEN MORE TIME FOR THE ORIGINAL ORDER ..if they can’t cope get more staff or don’t take on so much work very very disappointed ☹️

The food was delivered quickly and was hot. The spare ribs were freshly cooked but the chilli still had its seeds and was exceptionally hot. Crispy seaweed was not crispy. It was saturated with oil and very unpleasant. The roast duck in blackbean sauce was very very bland and tasteless. The free prawn crackers had very little taste, and I nearly broke my tooth on a solid piece of cracker. I would not recommend this restaurant and will not order again.

This is usually our go to Chinese takeaway - food is usually amazing. The last 3 times though, the chips have been really poor - like the previous days' chips reheated. Tough, dry and unpleasant. Don't know why the change but disappointing. Might need to find another go to.

Food was tasteless. I am very disappointed as it was quite expensive, and I was looking forward to it, but I feel let down. There were hardly any vegetables in it and it was bland. I won’t be ordering from that restaurant again.

Never had an issue with this take away but tonight was a eye opener. Over an hour late and been trying to phone the restaurant numerous times, no answer. Partner decided to go to the place and not more than 5 mins they turn up, no explanation just bag to face and take off.

Food not arrived. I have phoned restaurant 12 times over last hour and no answer. Want a refund and if it arrives will be refusing it as having to cook something now.
