Phoned takeaway twice to find out not even left as there driver is very slow ended up having to go collect it my self think thay need to looking at getting better drivers

Food was delicious and hot when arrived. However the order arrived later than the original estimated time. Very friendly delivery on ariival though. Despite lateness very happy overall.

Delivered earlier than stated. I haven't ordered from here for a while so I'm not sure if they have new owners/chefs but the food was pretty poor. Munchy box was a bit soggy. Tasted like spicy soybean paste was used to make the salt and chilli?!? First time I've ever come across soybean paste used for salt and chilli. The driver was a miserable so and so. Didn't say anything at all. Just shoved the food in my hand and walked off! Will wait a long while before I try this place again...

i am not one to complain... however food was disgusting chicken was white and soggy and u was feeling sick eating into ... when i called to complain i got told it was soggy due to sauce being added to the chow mein! vile !! i never complain.....but i had to !! please avoid

The pizza was delicious and unusually for stone fired pizza delivery, it was toasty hot. The steak on top was perfectly cooked, again difficult to keep steak slices, medium and keep its temperature. I was a head chef for 8 years and I’d recommend that everyone try these guys out, you won’t be disappointed. I will definitely be ordering again, it was honestly really great. The delivery was speedy and the driver was lovely. Well done and thanks. 🙌🏼🙌🏼

Bland & poor , chicken wings just salty , house special chow mein , more like onion chow mein hardly any meat 3 shrimps No sauce, a waste of money, overpriced 👎

I accidentally ordered the wrong dish, realised upon collection, the lady on reception managed to sort it out for me, the staff are helpful and changed the dish to the correct dish for me, I’m very appreciative as it was my mistake not there’s. Thank you

Delivery was on time, food was tasty. I wish this website had stated that you get free Prawn Crackers when you order over £17 as I ordered some so ended up with double. They're big bags so no doubt some will go to waste which is a shame.

I've been ordering from use for over 15 year . Our last delivery was missing 2 items and you said you would rectify it on the next order . I called tonight and you didn't honour that agreement and then put the phone down . You have lost a great customer and I will be sharing this with the area as I no alot of the community.

long wait for food from initial order estimate. the beef n black bean super gloopy and overpowering. usually its fine but tonight a definite off night.

Based on reviews I never ordered from here. However last night I asked neighbours and most suggested this takeaway. I was very surprised! Best noodles I have ever had! The sweet and sour chicken was so beautiful. We will be back!!! Maybe the chicken with ginger and spring onion had too much onion for our liking but still was great and cooked to perfection.

Delivery driver was excellent. We thought we had paid through app but had instead selected cash. we had no cash in house and had to scramble to a bank machine. He came back later and collected cash once his shift was finished. Great service, didn't catch the mans name he is one of the good ones.

Cheap, fast and tasty. Ingredients seemed pretty good, sizes are good. I ordered on my way home from work and picked up a few minutes later.

Never had a bad meal, any meal I had from New Fortune Cookie was really nice

Food was great but I was let down by the juice that I recieved. Not only was it a 1.75 bottle instead of a 2, it was the wrong one. I ordered the cola zero and was given the full sugar original. Not happy.

I do order from this place regularly and on the whole it’s pretty good. I’d stay away from the Salt and Chilli ribs as they are more bony of cuts than ribs.

Ordered special chow mein and crispy won tons. Delivery was on time and driver was polite and professional. food wise though: the chow mein was ok, but won tons were folded flat with almost no filling inside at all. Overall disappointed due to quality of second dish.

Exceptional Food & Service... we are at the Sick Kids Hospital and the Fortune Cookie was recommended to us by a fellow parent staying at the hospital. The food arrived warm, fresh and so delicious. Arrival time was spot on, yeah we waited but the wait was worth it 😋.

I really enjoy my food from New Fortune Cookie. Always delivered on time or before. Delivery drivers always really pleasant The shop have always been so helpful. I have a memory problem and sometimes order for collection. They call me and allow me to redo for delivery.

Ordered 2 vegetable spring rolls and got 2 spring rolls containing chicken , pork as well as been sprouts . Also prawn Ko po had far too much chilli in it . Disappointed.

First time ordering from here as our usual was closed so didn't know what to expect. The food arrived super hot, really well cooked and tasted delicious, 100 times better than where we used to go. They've just become our new usual, well deserving of the local legend title.

Usually love the food from here but today the whole order came cold. The curry sauce had set and was thick and chunky and the chicken chow mein was cold like it had been sitting in a fridge. Lots of little black burnt pieces on the noodles too. Won't be ordering again.

the food was delivered on time however the delivery driver practically was throwing the food at me when I opened door to collect it as if he was in a rush to get away the food nearly landed on the ground he was so quick I expect the person to be delivering food not to have an attitude and at least be civil also not having my food thrown at me in future would be fantastic

I have ordered from this restaurant before and have had food delivered to my address. I am so dissatisfied and disappointed I ordered a meal this evening as I had waited an hour on my food, only to be told they don't deliver to my area now due to the distance. No one phoned me back or emailed me to inform me of this, I will now have to wait in my card payment being refunded but have had to order elsewhere now. This is clearly not good business practice.

Really Impressed with the food from the New Fortune Cookie! We ordered via Just Eat when at a friends in Marchmont and the delivery came in less than 30 mins. The food was piping hot and absolutely delicious. Im now driving from Midlothian to collect food from the New Fortune Cookie because it so good! Highly recommend the crispy shredded chicken in chili & honey sauce! The Salt & Chili chips are also some of the best ive had. Looking forward to ordering again soon.

the deep fried “crispy” chicken was incredibly chewy and off-putting. was really disappointed with it. the food was only lukewarm, not hot, and the bbq sauce for ribs was starting to congeal. really not good. wouldn’t order again any time soon

We ordered two portions of lemon chicken but it was served with a sweet and sour sauce with a lemon slice on top. The chicken was overcooked in all the chicken dishes we ordered. .A total spend of £73.30 - very disappointed in the quality .

The food was lovely and fresh and the portions were fairly decent. I can't say it was worth the price though, £35 for two meals was a bit much!
