Worker asked why I speak so slow?

the guy took 10 minutes to even finish a sandwich he was making before we even came in after that when he was making it he kept putting the wrong things on because he hardly spoke any english and never understood what i was asking him to put on it and then accused me of having a fake £20 and asked for more money so i just walked out😂

It's a Subway at the end of the day. Had no problems the twice visited but as a visitor I was a little concerned that it was empty twice inc a weekend lunchtime!

Probably the oddest experience of a Subway I've ever had. A friend and I came in to grab some quick food on a Saturday night. The guy working there said he had some orders to do before he served us, fair enough. He went the full way through making my sub, ringing it up, etc, then went through to the back for a minute, then eventually came back and started making my friend's, rather than the usual approach of making one while the other is in the over. He seemed confused that my friend wanted crisps *and* a cookie. He asked the bread type at least 3 times. They'd run out of my friend's order, and he gestured to the tub as if that should have been obvious to us. And he clearly couldn't be bothered being there at all. At least two customers came in, waited for a bit, gave up and walked out before we were served.

I don't usually leave reviews but after my experience today with subway ‘The Bridges/Tron Sq’ I had to warn other people. Its also going to be my last time in this store. The guy serving wasn't remotely interested could hardly paid attention to me and and didn't seem to want to there. Got a lot of what I said wrong and moved at a snails pace, no offer of meal deal. Appearance money they must be on because zero customer service. Visited 19/12/23 12:20pm The sandwich cost nearly £7 and had virtually nothing on it. That was the cheapest sandwich too, a veggie delight!! Well below the usual standard at this chain. The potato wedges were hard and under cooked, inedible. They cost £1.79 and had to go in the bin. The dip that was with it so tiny it was not worth handing out! All in all a shocking Subway rip off total of £8.28

I really don’t want to write super negative reviews. But this brunch has lots of problems. Staff is busy for private stuff during I ordered, they didn’t listen what I am saying. Also when she making my food, she didn’t stop talking on the phone. I am very suspicious this all of split food, and couldn’t eat it. She ruined my breakfast and morning.

I brought a sandwich they overcharged me and the area manager she approached me and said we have not overcharged you I spent £25 at subway guys!! I only brought a meal deal for £11. Libby was very rude and racist as I told her I’m new in town she said she didn’t like the fact how I’m asking for directions and I should use google maps instead of asking her and to top it up she said I have an accent. Guys this is not the place to visit!!! They are not here to serve us they only are here to rob us and abuse us I will escalate this matter further to HR and report her!!!

Who ever worked today at south bridge subway definitely needs help. Very slow. He was alone but he was taking his own sweet time to do thing. Even though he saw customers waiting he was slowly making online order and after that he decided to make sub. Wasted almost 15 mins of my half n hr brk to get that sub in hand.

Accueil déplorable ! Certes on ne parle pas bien anglais mais on a la base et de simples mots, les serveurs n' essayaient même pas de comprendre. Quand on dit un cookie macadamie, ils servent un cookie chocolat.... bref accueil déplorable, même pas un sourire ou de la politesse.... je déconseille vivement

Ich wurde nicht gefragt welches Gemüse ich auf mein SUB möchte und dementsprechend auch keines bekommen. Ebenso wurde einfach eine Sauce der Wahl von den Angestellten draufgemacht. Kontakt zu den Kunden so wenig wie möglich!

Huge thank you to the gentleman with the dark beard who served me a very complicated and large order with patience and profesionalism- I tried to make a note of his name and I believe it was something like 'Aljard'. Apologies if I've gotten that wrong. Either way, it was the man on shift at 11-12 on Monday the 6th March. Big thank you to him and I hope he gets appreciated for his great work.

My absolute go to subway. Was in a bit of a pickle and the main guy on shift absolutely made my day and did me a proper solid. Definitely my go to lunch place. Annoyed I didn’t get his name so extra kudos to the main dude on on Monday the 6th of March around lunch time. deserves a ton of recognition for his friendly and amicable attitude and made getting my lunch a delight.

Probably one of the worst subway in the UK. The staff is not fully trained and cannot apply their promotion offer from their own app, charged me the full price at the end. It is unreasonable for a new staff to operate the shop on his own and not even providing a standard level of service.

Continually given very little vegetables in my sandwiches - I counted 8 pieces of lettuce in my entire sub. Sandwiches feel empty, instead of full and filled.

Popped in today for lunch I think I got a new member of staff, one of the customers in front was a bit difficult and flustered her a bit but I was served with a smile. My bread was wrong which was only discovered when I got back to the office but meat and salad portion was generous and the other male staff member was friendly. It's a very small store so not a lot of room when it gets busy and can become crowded quickly. Also only appears to be two staff members on during busy lunch service included the one member of staff who was training when it could have done with 3 just to help smooth along the process.

The lady that works in the south bridge with glasses didn’t have a name badge she is very rude and said there wasn’t any toppings when clearly the other staff member was In the back cutting some up and come through with it’s I asked her why she said there was non and if she could add some on the sub and she was like no so I got annoyed and said to her your rude and she said if you say anything else I’ll not service you I then said to the other girl can you serve me cause this woman is rude and she then told the other lady no don’t server her chucked my sub in the bin and told me to leave. Very Rude and won’t be back and I will be telling everyone the same. Shocking service she shouldnt be aloud to work serving people. I won’t this investigated as I’m taking this all the way! This will not be left!!!

they don’t put generous filling like it should be or like in any other country I’ve been,not sure if it’s the only branch or not, because it was my first subway in edinburgh. but definitely disappointed. ordered a footlong sandwich and my tummy isn’t full at all🙅🏻‍♀️🤦🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️ whereas, usually I’ll be full with just a 6 inch subway meal..

Vraiment pas terrible, le serveur était hyper pressé limite poli. Nous n'avons pas eu ce que nous voulions et en plus nous avons trouver un pépin de pastèque (on suppose) dans un sandwich au poulet... Le pain n'était pas bon et visiblement rassis. C'était la première fois que j 'allais chez Subway et la dernière.

Out of stock of quarter of the breads. Staff spoke like they'd rather be absolutely anywhere else in the world.

Sandwiches here are below standard of Subways. Portions are a small. Half a scoop of steak. Not much bread choice. No meatballs. No salad boxes. Limited soda and water. Worst subway we have visited. We will go to another place when visiting Edinburgh. Also limited crisps choice.

Closed earlier than advertised. No flatbread, no meatballs, no dispenser drinks. Service was lightning fast but got overcharged even though I asked for a meal deal. Subway, stop overworking your employees. You're running them ragged.

The bouncers are horrible. No communication. We queued for 1 hour and a half and they were extremely rude. Don’t go to subway.

Subway was fine but the girl making it was extremely rude. We were really uncomfortable with her behavior yet we were quiet, ate our meal, thanked her and said bye which she did not even look and just said bye. The next customers came and she was very sweet with them, greeted them and was talking politely. Idk if it was racism or what.

Being a fast food restaurant you know what to expect, this place is decent but there's only a few sits. When we were there they had run out of coke, diet coke and some bread types. The food was overall good but it was nothing expectacular. Most of the subway restaurants in the area where closed and this was the only one open.

One of the few places on the fast food market where you can eat really healthy nowadays. The products are prepared right in front of our eyes, from fresh products that do not remain until the last sandwich in the container, the meat is fresh, crispy vegetables. Orders can be composed freely without restrictions. For a reasonable amount of money, you can eat well without feeling heavy. The guys do it honestly and nothing was ever too little. Since I was the first time, it is a fixed point on my map to which I will return at every opportunity. Really worth. Sometimes they could wipe the tables more often because it drops from large portions. This is the only thing that can be improved.

Not good service. Doubt I will be back when passing through this route again

This is a small subway location, not many seats and no customer bathroom. But the food was exactly what you expect from subway

Got the classic subway feel. Queuing system is a bit odd, so wouldn't recommend for those with OCD. But with garlic bread at only 99p I couldn't have asked for a better place to spend about 5 minutes in.

Estuve aquí un par de veces. En general, me gusta la cadena Subway, ya que puedes tomar una buena merienda sin comer 1000 calorías y esta es particularmente buena. Hasta ahora nunca he esperado mucho por el servicio y siempre me he encontrado con miembros del equipo sonrientes y amigables (lo que no puedo decir sobre el servicio en otro Metro, un poco más arriba en Royal Mile ...). Definitivamente regresaré.

O sanduíche estava bem gostoso, os atendentes estavam o tempo todo se preocupando com a limpeza, conseguimos wi-fi e o atendimento foi bem rápido. Além disso, fizemos o credenciamento no clube do subway, gratuito, só baixar o app, o que conseguimos fazer porque estávamos com internet. Com esse clube você consegue acumular pontos e ir trocando porque outras coisas com o tempo, fidelidade normal, sabe? Uma coisa só que nos "atrapalhou" um pouco foi que achamos a bebida bem cara, e eles não têm máquina nessa sede, só garrafa.

我們一行六人來到 這一家位於愛丁堡舊城區南橋的薩尼三文治快餐店，我點了火雞腿配上芝士麵包，真的不錯 比起 其他快餐店健康。

Waited twenty minutes online, wanted to create our own, simple wraps (chicken, lettuce, tomato). We were told it was impossible by employee and again by manager. We were told we had to order one of the three wraps listed on the wall, or they couldn’t help us. Both of them were rather rude. We left and went elsewhere.

Came across this Subway whilst on our way to the taxi rank. Staff were friendly and served us quickly, the sandwiches were delicious and stayed warm until we got back to our hotel. Would recommend and will return next time I'm in Edinburgh

Limited seats. Just 4. No usual coke and pepsi i.e only bottled drinks are available. Better to go for other subeays nearby.

Avoid this place. Tiny, grubby, unsanitary food area, many items were out, no napkins given, no vinegar and oil, very sparse amount of meats and veggies put on sandwich, bread was stale.

Staff were nice but it's tiny nowhere to sit and a bit grubby.

Workers of this restaurant were bad with us because we didn't speak english so good. They didn't understand our tourist situation with the difficult of the language. I would put 0 stars if google maps let me do it. I'll never return here. They have to learn to be patient. You lost 14 clients.

A bitterly cold day, in need of food and had my first Subway! The two staff members couldn’t have been more helpful or friendly! Good food and a good cuppa at the sit- in stools was just what was needed. Thanks Guys!

Esta es una cadena de comida rápida muy socorrida ya que apenas tienes que hacer cola y la comida no es grasienta como muchas otras. Este establecimiento en particular dispone de bocadillos ya preparados y refrigerados para llevar y consumir en la calle o en las mesas que dispone el local.

This Subway does not accept vouchers, which is disappointing. Just be aware before you go in that you will pay a little more than usual. Staff member wasn't that friendly and I left feeling quite underwhelmed by the service.

Came here for a bite to eat during the festival. They don't have a dispensed drinks machine so can only offer bottle water if you have a deal. Erm...why not just offered the bottled juice instead? Sub was ok.

Si quieres cerrar para conseguir su limpieza debe decir 22. No 45 en la puerta 23. 00! ! Tuve que conseguir un "fish and chips" y wasny un conejito feliz!

You don't really get any surprises at Subway - just decent sandwiches made to order. This one is quite small so not a lot of room to sit in.

Quería un almuerzo ligero y tenía bonos de metro que necesitaba para ser utilizado por el 30 de abril antes de que fueran válidos (3 días). Incluso antes de que yo puse mi orden el hombre sirve con un alto (cola de caballo) ladrar en que no excepto aquellos bonos aquí. . La última me registré mi vouchers eran para todos las ramas de metro y había utilizado algunas de ellas en diferentes lugares y nunca tuve ningún problema. Él ni siquiera explicar por qué él no tomar ellos. El hombre que sirve parecía desinteresado y probablemente deben encontrar el mismo trabajo en otra parte si es un lío.

I explicitly asked for no pickle in my sandwich but the person purposely put many pickles in the sandwich. I contacted the person later today but he was just trying to avoid the conversation. I hope there's an option where I can put no star instead of 1. Worst ever.

Gran elección de pan muy fresco de pena ingredientes que cuando usted pide queso fundido, por ejemplo un sub caliente. Que es frío por el tiempo que te dan de comer. Pero mi compañero y yo encontramos nuestra elección de filete caliente con queso y pollo tikka subs muy sabroso

I literally got nothing on my sandwich. Footlong with 3 jalapeño, 4 slices of bell pepper and almost no lettuce. Very disappointing.

Entramos por que queríamos cenar algo rápido y sin entretenernos mucho. Mis amigos se pidieron unos bocadillos y cuando vi los ingredientes y la preparación mi marido y yo cambiamos de idea y lo dejamos para mas adelante.Allí están expuestos todos los ingredientes que en su mayor parte tienen pinta de estar resecos y descuidados, te preparan el bocadillo a golpes...es penoso.De las dos personas que cenaron allí , una se lo comió y la otra se lo dejo a medio ya que no le estaba nada bueno...y yo me fui a otro sitio, no digo mas.

You have to queue for so many places but this was quick. Had a 12'' chicken and bacon roll with salad which was fine for the money. It's all fresh.

Lovely sub, shame they overcharged me, and there was one seat for every single person in the shop to sit on. Still there was enough space for 2 people to stand next to it. It was a good sub though.
