Burger King in Edinburgh, City of

Accidentally left my bag in the store and tried to call the branch to ask if it had been handed in, no answer after multiple attempts. As I go to collect the bag, they have closed and locked the doors at 1pm! Without any signage as to why this is, and this is wrong. If they have any reason to close early they must show this

It's been 3 hours and still nothing, need a refund

I really admire how diligent and hard working the staff is there. Always smiling, always keeping everything moving and being positive. God bless them. If anything is a downside it’s some of the customers.

Food was well over an hour late, food was cold, food was missing AND the delivery driver was incredibly rude

Chip portion’s diabolical. Ordered extra because I saw the other review talking about it but I thought they were exaggerating…they weren’t one was ok the rest were less than half full If the workers see this u literally don’t get paid enough to be cutting the company costs like this. Load the fries up it’s not coming out of ur wage😐

Such an easy process to order your food with the kiosks they have! Supper quick service with lush staff. The manager Claire ensured that my food was done to amazing standard. Great costumer service to! Would definitely recommend to anyone and everyone.

No order has arrived !! But says delivered it says it’s delivered on time but there is no delivery - we don’t have the delivery

We wanted to eat something quick but delicious and we were not wrong, I mean, it is a fast food place but it has a vegetarian menu and the place is very clean, luckily it is not full of people.

In The Dinning Area was such a nice guy i really recomend this place he was the nicest guy i have ever seen he helped me order food and brought it to my table.

It was really time for Burger King to open its restaurant the friendly professional staff of all kinds of sandwiches totally different in terms of taste and its competitor with a capital M as far as I prefer Burger King it's up to you to make your choice and enjoy your meal small downsides here the ketchup and free 2 sachets the mayonnaise it will cost you 50ct per unit absurd for a fast food

The quality of food produced at this establishment is simply top notch.

Really poor service, went to the drive through to get the team lunch, pulled over to double check the order, burger missing then went back in and the girl was calling me a liar, so I had to go back to the car and get the bags and show her, she then said I could've left it in the car, I would have preferred to go spend £60 on an order and get back to work and eat it before it gets hot, not come and argue over a burger that subsequently she realised and apologies it was owed. I bit my tongue as she was a young girl and I understand the working environment can be hectic, but I would appreciate in future just fixing the issue, really poor.

Absolutely disgusting experience. Asked for a bottle of coca cola (instead of the cups) which were displayed in store for an autistic non verbal child. Was told rudely that they cannot sell it as it's only for delivery. While I do understand that you have your rules, it costs nothing to be kind and accommodate special needs children at the very least.

The app really needs a better tipping service for the delivery team.

I paid for my food at the auto machine, go my ticket, the person serving then claimed it was not a valid number. They disregarded my complaints and refused to serve me even when I showed them £17 had gone from my a/c...never again!

Even though the food was delivered on time the man who delivered was not nice at all and caused a scene. We are over from Ireland so unaware of the address so when the address appeared on the app we clicked it and would of went down to the door when I would see how close they were on app as we were unsure of flat number. The delivery driver caused a scene in the building shouting at my partner and I know we were in wrong by not giving flat number but the driver causing a scene was not on

The order never arrived. I placed an order worth £45 and it wasn't delivered. On every other occasion I placed an order with Just Eat, the delivery driver called to confirm where the order should be left or to say that they had arrived. On this occasion, there was no phone call, but it shows on the app that the order was delivered.

The burger kings in England do not have gluten-free burgers or bread.

Do not order from this place. I placed an order last night worth £45 and the food was never delivered. I've been trying to contact them since yesterday but no one will answer. The delivery driver didn't call me to confirm where to leave the delivery and looks like they have just taken the food themselves. I had to place another order with a different restaurant and that DID actually arrive, but time and money wasted. To make matters worse the app I ordered on (Just Eat) have said they can't do anything about it, so Just Eat and this Burger King branch have collectively scammed me off £45 and there's nothing I can do about it. Great customer service. Stay well clear.

I bought the plant-based Whopper, and it was delicious! The manager was very polite and made the experience even better. Highly recommend!

The chips where hard and dry and no sauce on burger

placed order and delivery time started at 19.50 arrived freezing cold and inedible, time kept changing on system as to when delivery was going to be and that it showed driver at burger king for ages, so food would have been laying out for ages

Cold food. Dry, bland ingredients. Putting a cold bottle of drink in same bag, with what I assume was hot food. Stale fries. The whole order was disgusting. Very disappointing.

Not up to the brand name. The food was not packed correctly it looks like for the name sake they are doing the things.

Ordered via Deliveroo. Adult and kid meal. Deliveroo sent the kid meal on a massive detour arriving 30 mins after it left the restaurant. Imagine playing with the food of a child in a manner that the child is treated like a second class citizen. After food arrived it had to be reheated. Myself and the wee one had the shytes all night till around 3am. So, thanks for stealing my money and giving me and the wee one food poisoning. Report to council sent today as hygiene standards clearly questionable. Anyone reading this…. AVOID AVOID AVOID Buy local, you’ll be treated better, your food will be fresher and you’re not going to get food poisoning from an abhorrently greedy corporation.

The place is bigger inside than it looks. Able to order on machines but some difficulty while talking to staff, English isn't their first language. Staff were nice though

Incredibly unhappy.Just eat or the restaurant have completely mixed up my order leaving me with no dinner for tonight.Because what they sent me was chicken that I can't eat.

The fries were so salty I might as well be hospitalised for having a stroke ONG. But the atmosphere was nice.

When we entered there was about 6/7 staff that I could see and no customers, but yet nearly every single table had waste on the tables and on the floor. After being there for about 30min while eating, we left and not one of the staff had been out to clean up. Time the staff had a reminder about what their job consists of.

This Burger King is consistently busy but they consistently deliver, service, quality and cleanliness. Environment is refreshing and overall great atmosphere.

Dining area clean, really nice and modern vibe, and to top it off a lovely young and handsome man Afil helped me go to the toilet after eating my quadruple steakhouse angus! They quickly sent in the toilet clean up crew after me to get rid of the mess! Thoroughly recommend

The place is like any other in the franchise. I rate the food at one because the size of the hamburger is a mockery, paying 10gbp for this, there are many fast food options that are more worth it. We came here because it was the only thing open near the hotel.

Used the self-service machine (which I've used in other chains, even abroad) and the options so unclear that I ended up with a burger that, rather than containing all toppings, was completely plain. Literally just the patty in a bun. How can that be described as the 'Ultimate Bean Burger'? Wasn't a tasty burger. Plus had large fries and overall meal so small that was still hungry afterwards.

As soon as you hear your order number being called or on screen then I'd personally go and grab it as quickly as possible, why I hear you say, well I heard my number but before I got to the counter there were a few girls standing beside my tray of food when I saw one of them reach out to take a chip from my meal. I think that the staff should not have the meals available for anyone to do this until they have verified the customer from the receipt. This was the Princes Street branch in Edinburgh, but I suppose it could occur at any branch.

Food was over cooked and cold items where not how they suppose to be

I ordered classic burger with fries. My friend ordered beans burger with fries and a cup of cappuccinos. I enjoyed mine and my friend enjoyed hers. We both ordered Ben and Jerry's ice-cream. It was yummy. The girl who served us was lovely friendly and polite.

The food was great, and there were no issues with it at all. Admittedly, the touch screens where you order your food could be a bit cleaner and have more of them added to the restaurant as it was a bit of a wait to get our food ordered. But overall, the experience was great. the food was delicious and actually packed correctly in its boxes and bags.

Ive been to Burger King quite few times already and I always had a positive experience. The food is really good especially the chicken burgers. A staff member i belive called Suneha took my order and she was really helpful and positive person who made sure that I had good experience in there.

Had a mocha which was almost like water. No chocolate or coffee flavor whatsoever. Staff was very unpleasant and rude towards customers. Manager was running like a headless chicken while the staff was chatting away without doing anything. BK has this policy that only patrons can use the washroom which is an OK thing to do. But despite all the control measures, the washrooms were an utter mess. No toilet paper, hasn't been washed or mopped from a while. It was reeking with urine odour. Please franchisees have a look at this operation numbers don't matter. People do. The staff at this place will run you out of business very soon. GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

We ordered food from the ordering machine, and it was prepared quickly. The restaurant has good seating arrangements. In general, the food is tasty. It would be even better if the burger is larger than I expected.

The worst Burger King I have ever been to. At least strive to employ someone who is polite to customers. I asked the person who was mopping where the toilet was, and she told me to ask a crew member instead. What kind of behaviour is that? Moreover, access to the toilet is restricted to those who purchase from this shop, which seems to go against basic human rights. Worst worst worst experience. This is not what we expect from a brand like Burger King.

Weird driver...... Met him at bottom of stairs to grab order from him (so he didn't have to go upstairs) and he asked me about order and I confirmed and he ran past me up the stairs and waited on me coming up stairs to hand me order lol 😂🤣
