I bought a large pizza at this place for the first time but unfortunately it was not tasty at all But because I was hungry, I had to finish the pizza to some extent It had a very special bad taste when I ate it, it was as if there were seeds on my tongue I think Domino's pizzas are much better than here But I don't know how the rest of the food tastes, maybe it's delicious, but the pizza was not tasty at all

Had food from here b4 , it's chip shop food , no bad portions , but noticed they charge £2:80 delivery AND 50p service charge !?? We'll no be back

Like the previous poster we to have used this chip shop so many times , but I don’t know what has happened to it . Hubby called in Wednesday night for a portion of fritters single king rib an a battered sausage , it was inedible honestly everything was like reheats and after paying the money you were lucky if two over cooked fritters were eaten. We certainly won’t be returning x

My partner order 2 fish and they brought now we are waiting on another and its took 35mins shocking

Fish was very fresh straight out of the fryer and chips were cooked perfectly. Best I've had after a long time. Would recommend this place. 10/10

Quick , good food with loads of options

Chicken kebab - class Pitta - class Garlic sauce - lovely but not enough of it chili sauce - need a new recipe, this is purple and below average taste Service - ordered online on a quiet evening, site said ready in 15 minutes, arrived on time, had to wait another 15 minutes, no staff made eye contact, no sense of urgency never mind a smile. Also I live a 7 minute drive away and they refuse to deliver to newton village, despite the website showing that they do. Clearly don’t need the extra business.

Worst place to order food, very very bad customer service. Staff are very rude!! Owner of the shop need to take care and need to do some training to the staff, and need to text them how to talk with customers and staff also need to learn customer service.

Ordered a pepperoni pizza and was lucky to get 1 pepperoni per slice. Who the hell serves up pepperoni pizza like this!?

We’ve had their food about three times in the last year of moving to the area. I like that they are open during the late hours. Their prices are fine, and their meals are okay. The most consistent thing we have had is the spicy chicken pizza, it’s tasty. The other foods worth considering are chicken pakora and chicken kebab. The most recent order was made over the phone and the person on the other end of the phone was courteous. The order was delivered on time. Let me also add that the previous order before this one was takeout, and I waited about 8 minutes, which I believe was reasonable. I do think they need some improvements in the quality of their chips which is why I gave the 4-stars. Overall a good place to get an assortment of meals for affordable prices.

Our family have used the supper bowl for many years and on average the food is quite good, but tonight the fish supper was disappointing, it didn’t look fully cooked and it certainly didn’t seem like fresh fish, it was full of grease and ended up in the bin without eating it. The cost of a fish supper isn’t cheap and now costs £10.50, up 75 pence from last week, I’ll certainly think twice about returning.

For £20 you can get enough food to feed two people. Good quality food provided by local takeaway shop. I would highly recommend Superbowl for anyone.

Love their food well worth a try. Fish amazing. They deliver too.

Put delivery via just eat waited 2 hours and several calls later no apology no nothing and NO FOOD absolutely disgusted with attitude and most off all JUST EAT ..don’t order through them they send messages saying delivered when it’s not delivered I’m grateful I don’t have to eat cold congealed food

First delivery order for a while from Supperbowl & wished i hadn't, got a fish supper and it was lukewarmish the fish was rubbery the batter was chewy (disgusting really) the scampi was pretty much the same even the dog turned his nose up at it, & around 90 minutes late, maybe an off night but for a takeaway that is 5 minutes up the road it was a bit of a shocker..😤

Food is always great! Staff are friendly and always up for chatting while they prepair your order. Great prices for what you get :)

Very fast and the fish is excellent!

The best fish and chips in the area. The supper fish is huge and very substantial. They also make special halal ones if u ask them so that’s a massive plus point for all of us

Bought a chicken kabab tonight waited a while for it got home opened it up to eat and the chicken was charde black to dough to eat very disappointing

I’ve never had such poor quality of food. The food and I use that word very loosely, was cold and served in polystyrene containers. Which are supposed to be banned from any take away. I’ve never enjoyed food from the supper bowl since Dominique rented it out. Please please come back and cook your food which used to have a que out of the door for. Won’t ever be back!

Everytime I get a just eat its never good last few pizza tasted old and barely warm

Usually order from here weekly but last 4 times I have to say the chips were absolutely terrible, green coloured, black and mouldy looking had to throw chips away every time. Chips are the main order when you order food from here you would think the chips should be done properly and checked. Very disappointing I won’t be ordering from here again which is a shame unless the chips improve.

Ordered a special fish. Took over an hour, was cold when it arrived and dry as an old boot. I hate when you look forward to something and it's below expectations 😕 I may add the dog loved it!!

Ordered delivery - not appeared within 2 h hours so phoned back- told it was on its way eventually arrived but I refused it because I was working early and needed to get to bed. Service needs reviewed - their excuse is that they are busy!!

I had just been to visit a friend with MS and thought I would grab something to eat before my journey to Inverness The girl who served me obviously hates her job . Ordered delivery arrived swiftly ......and got returned swiftly . Swimming in Grease fritters soggy ......girls on phone were lovely when I took it back ( I didn't even ask for replacement just wanted them to see it ) grey haired man comes over and asks what's wrong ......it was in front of him and awful attitude .......complimented him usually been good but this was poor still had attitude

Ordered last night, 2/5/2023, food took an hour to come and when it did it was cold, happened a few times now, time to try somewhere else

I've ordered mix kebab with salad and chips. Salad was only a one slice of tomatoe and onion and a bit of the lettuce this Is a joke , most of the meat was only lamb donner, chips was awful, no salt and really soft ,instead of the garlick sauce i get mustard sauce.Definitely not worth £20 quit!! Not recommended this place.

Best chips and curry sauce I have ever had. Really hot chips and the sauce was lovely and thick. The staff member who served me was very friendly and polite. I will definitely be back.

Really disappointing experience and food. Ordered online, got an email to confirm the order. Waited over 30 mins after the supposed delivery time to call them, and they claimed they tried to get in touch to say they don’t deliver to our area and that it’s not their fault, but rather it’s the website. Had no calls whatsoever. And I have been checking my phone constantly! Upon requesting the money back, they said I had to deal with the website which had NO option for getting the money back. Finally, my partner decided to go and pick up the food himself. Worst £30 spent ever. Greasy, fat soaked food, maybe worth £15 max. What a shame.

Food can be a one off if its been sitting for a while chips are not the best more black eyes and rotten bits than a fresh potato they much buy the cheap of cheap

Food arrived a little late due to address mix up, food not great at all and one of the items missing altogether, won’t be ordering again.

DO NOT EAT HERE. GAVE ME FOOD POISONING. I HAVE BEEN IN AGONY EVER SINCE. Been coming for 15 years, gradually it’s been getting worse and worse until the other night. I have been sick ETC!!! Ever since can’t keep a thing down. Will never be back. Do not eat here.

Ordered & was told 45 mins, 1hr 15 mins pass, phone them up & told waiting on driver coming back. Phoned 2hrs later (to which I was going to tell them where to stick it) told drivers just left he’ll be there soon. Driver was very strange & hard to understand. Food was cold. Will not be back, place has turned into an absolute disaster.

I ordered food through Just Eat 2 nights ago. My order went in around 18.10 and delivery was scheduled for 19.00 to 19.20. I got a message to say the driver was on the way so I kept an eye on the door. No sign of anything by 19.30 so I gave it another 10 minutes and phoned. I spoke to a girl who told me that the driver had said that my address didn't exist!!! (I've only lived here for 23 years!) and he had returned my order to the restaurant. She was adamant that the the address doesn't exist and wasn't going to do anything. The driver was out on another run. No offer to get a replacement meal was made so I told her that would be the last time I would order. I had to order food from somewhere else and their driver found me without a problem. It seems from the reviews that a lot of people are not happy with this place. It used to be such a good chippy. So Supperbowl - get your act together!!!

Have used Supperbowl for many years, today one person saved the day from a potential disaster. Chantelle (apologies if spelt incorrectly) took my call when the ordering system had failed to send my order through and it had been a hour. Systems can fail, glitches do happen. Humans then make the difference, here is where chantelle turned into a superstar. She is a credit to the business and got my order to me hot and piping and the night was saved. Thank you so much, Supperbowl still the champion in the fish and chips game.

Usually order from here no problem, i Get a calzone and everytime is fine until one time the Chef said hes not going to do it cause "too much hassle" and i told them but i usually get the same thing everytime no issues and they were like well we dont do it anymore, i mean how hard is it to leave some stuff out? Especially when done in the past . Think their attitudes were disgusting it wouldnt even be so bad if they explained we used to do it but not now its the way they think they can speak to people absolutely disgusting wont order from them again.

Disgraceful service. Ordered via just eat. Told it would take an hour for food to get delivered. Phoned up shop after an hour and a half to check up on order, was told the order was out for delivery and it would be with us in 10 mins. After two plus hours the order still hadn't turned up! Requested an update, but never got a reply. Will never order from you again.

Tuesday evening, 2 hours after ordering still no sign of food. Doesn't even matter if the food shows up and is amazing (doubt it anyway) ruined an evening.

Teribble food and terrible service from the pasta "chef"! The Bolognese comes from a frozen packet with not one bit of meat in it. Serving tomato pasta as spaghetti Bolognese for stupid prices. I will never return here. Doesn't even deserve 1 star. The "chef" that spoke to me on the phone was a rude compulsive lier. AVOID going here!!!!!

Been using this shop 45yr approx! Ordered 2 fish supper, single fish, smoked sausage supper. Fish were tiny phoned and spoke to manager said they were having a problem with the fish told us there should have been 1and half fish but there wasn’t! Said I was to phone and get 2 FREE fish suppers so we phoned tonight and got one cheeky girl on phone and REFUSED to give us what we were promised!!!! Absolute disgrace! Lived here all our lives used them for all these years when I tried to phone back to speak to a manager as girl wouldn’t get one ….they blocked my number and my 86yr old mothers number. Pure disgusted. I will be coming into the shop and I WILL BE SPEAKING TO THE MANAGER! Want to speak to the organ grinder NOT the rude monkey!!!!!!!!!!! Deserves 0 stars! Manager/owner phone me asap!

Very good quality of the fish and chips. All crispy and tasty. Kind staff. God price and quality relation.

We ordered our meal at around 4.50pm tonight. It arrived on time, but when we started to eat it, we found that the chips were very cold and the fish was grossly over cooked. We have been using Supperbowl for years and did not expect this poor level of food from them. Maybe we got the meal instead of the cat!! Time to look elsewhere for our takeaway. I am truly sorry to post this.

Avoid pizza's from here, cheapest tomato puree, hardly any cheese! Would rate it 1/10 .

Normally use the Fryers Delight (Gracemount) but have moved house and this place is now nearest to collect. Got a fish supper. Skin of fish burnt to hell. Fish itself burnt at corners. Should have noticed something not right when I arrived. Gracemount chippy always has a queue. Not 1 person waiting here when I arrived. Only place for this was the bin. Phoned Gracemount and had a fish supper delivered. What a difference. Looked like it had been cooked 2 minutes ago and went down a treat. Supperbowl - never again!

As it was my last night in Edinburgh we decided to treat ourselves to a takeout. Supperbowl did NOT disappoint!. The Haggis Supper was spot on, piping hot, crispy chips and a great selection of sauces and dips to choose from! Highly Recommended

I’ve ordered many things from here and they have always been good but the fish supper I got delivered 20mins ago was inedible. The fish was so dry and the batter was so over cooked it was terrible. If that’s could post a picture I would. Very unhappy!!

Staff tell you to order before 11:30pm last orders, which I tried to place Oder at 11:20pm to be told there to busy and can’t deliver my Order. I’ve been going to Supperbowl for the last 28 years after tonight with the staffs attitude I will never be back. If I could give ZERO STARS I WOULD!!

Been a couple times and it's like we can't be disappointed. The only food so far that has just been ok, is the scampi but that is not to say it was not good, just with everything else they got appealing to us, the scampi was lower on the list. If you like your burgers, I don't think you can go wrong with the triple cheese burger. Wow, had twice now and it's a heck of a burger.

Ordered a large shish kebab with salad. Got about 8 bits of meat and no salad. All for £9 Chips and curry sauce came sideways so the sauce had poured out. Other than that not the worst

Chose a pepperoni chicken pineapple thin crust. Its was half cooked literally 4 bits of pepperoni terrible waste of 16quid

Supperbowl is my local chip shop. Decent food, friendly enough staff. Reasonably fast delivery and a generally good service.

Mother ordered 2 fish supers for delivery, called after 20 minutes and told on way, arrived 1 hour after ordering. Food tasted good but predictably it was cold. 1 star for taste 1 star because previous deliveries have been decent.
