Outdoor cocktails with live music on a beautiful day in Edinburgh- life can't get much better

Loved this place to meet friends when arriving in Edinburgh. Can’t believe the council made it close down due to temporary planning

As a vegetarian the menu looked good, but they did not have the first thing I asked for, nor the second from their menu. They had to tell me what they actually did have, and the kuku slice was acceptable and tasty. The coffee was also good. When asked about toilets, the staff did not seem to know the area, so we had to find M&S!

Good vide. Good location. Value for money

Good spot for people watching, live music, and a pint of beer surrounded by great views of the city. Multiple bars and food stands to choose from. Avoid the wine, it comes in a can with a plastic cup and is quite bad. Idk about the food, several of the stands were closed (mid day Wednesday) or appeared open but nobody was there working.

Brilliant artists appearing. Good friendly atmosphere.

Absolutely poor staff, they simply refused to put my phone to charge for 5mins when I was travelling as my phone had died stating they have some insurance issues. Pathetic hospitality.

Great wee outdoor (mostly) pub with a lovely atmosphere - heaters and overhead cover to keep you dry on a rainy day! Fantastic staff who are welcoming and address any issues swiftly. The Irish girl is especially lovely, will be back!

Great place for a drink and something to eat. Good atmosphere. Such a shame that they are showing the World Cup without the English flag in evidence. Every other flag from competing nations is there.

Un bar con mucha onda y bien céntrico, está muy bien para pasar un rato agradable.

Drinks and food are expensive but atmosphere is great. Good for a meet up with people or a pre drink but I wouldn't be sat there for long periods.

Cocktails are nice, and typical price for the area. Heat lamps so stays warm on colder nights.

Spent 2 hours people watching and enjoyed some lovely food and beer, whilst listening to a guy playing the guitar and singing brilliantly.

Fun area in the center! Live music was a bonus. Drinks reasonably priced. A few bartenders didn't seem friendly, but moving to another section we had better service.

I think they reuse plastic glasses cos they have bed smell.

Visited during Edinburgh Festival. Good food and drink and atmosphere.

Great experience with live music during the fringe, be careful about moving between parts with drinks as you can't go into other parts as they are all owned by different organisations.

Had a great time at the Tom Jones concert Went for a quiet drink with my wife The two security guards were so rude went to look for my son with my drink in my hand not realizing you can’t step out would not let me back in my wife was in the bar alone would not listen to me would not go back

I thought festival was a nice relaxing place to sit have a drink and enjoy live music, however I was wrong I was kicked out by two rude security guards for not recognising their company’s own cups who falsely accused me for buying my drinks else we’re. I tried to explain I bought them there and the security guard starting raising his voice at me and was extremely rude! It completely ruined my night.,I will not be going back to festival village.

Totally blanked by the very young bar staff, over priced and bits floating in the spritzer.

I really like this place, I was there with family yesterday and it is an atmospheric place with reasonable prices, hope I will visit this beautiful place in the future. In one eord I recommend you to visit this place!

Great venue for a beer and listening to live music pre festival

Going down hill , could do with a good sweep and tidy up ,over priced and not too Friendly staff ,music was too loud had to shout to speak to friends.......get you act together as tourists are not impressed

Easy for snack and beer, outside, live music was loud. But great rest stop for all the walking. Had a delicious ham and grilled cheese, jalapeño poppers and cold beer, Tennents.

Very nice plaace, to eat and drinking with live music!

First time here. It was brilliant. The vibe was brilliant. There were singers on all day. Loads of beer/cocktail gardens to choose from and lots of food on offer. We had a great day here and the weather made a difference. I think it would be a great place to go in the evening. Defo worth a visit. Its right outside waverley station on princes street.

First time there managed to get a table and not to crowded with it being the middle of the week bar staff friendly And prices average for being on princess street.

Music was good, gin and tonic was ok but the security guy was rude, I was leavings the place with my friends and a security guy was super rude, so sad that we finished our visit in this way , I hope they train better the security guys

I wish I could give a lower feedback. The music was good, but the security was extremely rude and racist. Despite staying and spending there for close to 3-4 hours he kicked us out unprovoked. We weren’t rude to him or created any scene (fyi)

Was nice and quiet at 4pm on a school night, had live music and a good choice of Gins.

Had to wait a while to order but once the order was taken everything arrived quite quickly. Food was tasty and hot and all that was required for a quick lunch.
