Rudest stuff ever made a delivery order asked for no veg on salt and pepper chips when order came with veg so I can’t eat phoned to complain maybe get a refund for chips or some with no veg instead stuff we’re inpolite and told me they wouldn’t serve me again for their mistake and hung up my boyfriend phoned back saying that they were being extremely rude and yet again shouting about how there’s no veg even when I can see it and hung up would never get again anyways only got coz Chinese I usually use is closed chips that I got don’t even look cooked terrible customer service easiest thing is too be nice worst regret put off Chinese completely

Guy behind the counter is very rude I would advise avoiding this place

Food was delivered cold phoned the shop and they turned round and told me there was no way the food could be cold but I’m pretty sure the food was put on the plate as soon as it was delivered and the food was cold.

Food used to be fab. Delivery didn't take the full hour as it said it would. Last three times prawn crackers have had a weird paint like taste. Honey chilli beef was cold with hardly any sauce. Celery in the chow mein. Salt and chilli chips seem to be missing the chilli and we're soggy. Crispy seaweed portion seems to be getting smaller. Kept ordering giving the benefit of the doubt. Absolutely will not now.

Ordered from here loads over the years and it's been great. Last few times the prawn crackers have tasted like chemicals. Ordered tonight thinking il just ignore the prawn crackers and the food arrived cold, salt and chilli chips were bland also. Gutted as its put me off ordering again

Very nice takeaway, there food is on point. My had it all through my wife first pregnancy and ver good customer relationship.

Food came quickly, was looking forward to it, but it tasted horrid. Not one for writing reviews but this is the quickest way to waste your money! The pancack rolls were swimming in oil in the container, the beef noodles had the strangest taste (off/ cleaning product type tase and smells funky.) One mouthful was enough. The chicken and sweetcorn soup was not much better. Shame as lived this place before!!

Waited 2 hours for our food, had to call the restaurant three times as it has said it had been delivered when it hadn’t, food came cold and stale and they also forgot all our drinks worst chinese and service, avoid xx

Butterfly King prawn not worth what I paid & didn't like that sauce with it.

Reasonable prices and kinda large portions, I'm big guy and yet I can't eat all I get. The best part is that they are flexible, I like crispy food and they make it crispy on my request. Keep it up!

Best chinese. Food is always excellent quality, the sea spice aubergine is amazing.

HORRIBLE service! After ordering from just eat our order never showed up, when we phoned up and asked about it the lady on the phone said the driver had tried to deliver it (which he hadn’t) - she said they would re-send it and then an hour later she phoned back and very rudely said “we have decided to cancel your order NEVER order from us again” - horrible rude service and a delivery driver who lies. Will never order from here again!!

Best Chinese take away in the area. Food is so reasonably priced, decent sized portions and really tasty. Love the Sechuan dishes which you don't see elsewhere. Delivery is really reliable and if you have any issues or queries they are super helpful on the phone!

Love this place find their munchie box is by far the best one I have ever bought from any chinese take away so far 🤤🤤🤤

Don't ever order from here... The order was 4hrd late after several calls asking to speak to manager the female who took the calm thought that it was hilarious... I'll never call them again!!

Yet again quick delivery and great food. Meal for deal always brilliant value for money. Plenty of food leaving enough for lunch the following day. Thanks again Royal China

Hands down the worst Chinese takeaway I've encountered. Everything on my order arrived soggy with no taste. And the things that are supposed to be soggy like the onions in my curry were crunchy and undercooked. I could go on but there's too much stuff to mention. If I had of known what the state of the food was going to be I would have swerved this place.

Ordered noodles and curry sauce very salty Chicken and black bean sauce that was salty too and chips where neither cooked or uncooked in places. The spare ribs where full of fat. I'v ordered from there before and never had to complain. Was ashame had family round to enjoy a Chinese and it's far too salty to eat. When called to complain he asked for details got a little snappy then offered for the driver to come and collect the rest of the food and give a refund for what we have sent back.

Food is delicious, staff very friendly, will definitely order from here again .

We don’t usually order Chinese food so was worried about what we would receive. However the food arrived within 20 mins, hot, fantastic quality and very generous portions for the price. Tasty and fresh, would definitely order from here again. Delivery driver was friendly. Overall 10 out of 10

Aye a couple of chips not to bad tried bit rice decent then poured curry sauce over meal and it has to be the worst tasting curry sauce I have ever had in my life absolutely disgusting

Well ordered tonight for a quick meal Took 1 hour to arrive and instead of chicken balls for kids wee got spring rolls this took 45 mins to rectify how hard is it honestly ????

I get My sent meal start with soup spare rib's then the choice of The whole menu not like most other take away that only give you a choice 3 or4 choices

After waiting for 2 and a half hours I cancelled it - terrible service

Took over an hour. When it arrived there was no hoisin sauce. When I phoned the guy he asked if it was ok if he came back to deliver the sauce the next day. Speechless. Avoid at all costs.

Ordered food from here half way through eating I find a moth in my food so after being sick for the last 30 mins a called them to say I would like a refund and they offered to make me fresh food no thanks just the money will be fine try upping you quality controll not all of us are built like bear grylls

Food arrived quickly but was not good quality. Duck was dry, oily and overcooked. The chicken satay was tasteless, needless to say neither got eaten. When asked for a refund, was told this was not an option.

Cant say how disgusted i am, great looking food, i ate a whole tub of sweet and sour chicken after pulling out the veg (i asked for no veg) then on further inspection found a fly about an inch long bathing in the sweet and sour sauce, calls didnt get answered when i phone back, i am disgusted.

Would have been BETTER KEEPING IT CTOFTERS BAR AND LOUNGE INSTEAD OF CHANGING IT TO ANOTHER NON STARTER BAR RESTURANT FACILITY

I waited over an hour and a half for my order when it came it was stone cold and all hard never had this before anywhere that I normally use!!!! Definitely won't be ordering from here again and don't recommend it to anyone

Great food! Plentiful, fresh and tasty. Delivery was 15 mins early (no mean feat for a Friday night). Delivery driver was courteous as was the gent on the phone when I called up to compliment them. Will definitely be ordering from Royal China again.

Recently used this Chinese takeaway. Very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Superb value. We will certainly will order from here again. And soon. Prices very good. Delivery was very quick. Was within the 30 minutes that they promised.

Food turned up an hour and a half later than the stated delivery time despite being told on phoning several times that it would be there "in a few minutes". When it did arrive, it was a glutinous, soggy, inedible mess - went straight in the bin. Despite phoning the restaurant and complaining to the manager, they refused any form of refund or replacement food. Seems I'm not the only one with similar experience from what I've read online - wish I'd done so before I ordered.

Going downhill. Terms and conditions for free prawn crackers changed without notice. No poibt buying the warm 2l bottle of cola that is actually only 1.75l as it doesnt count towards the prawn crackers.

Ordered food for 3 people. Called an hour after ordering and found out our order had been cancelled.... They said "Just eat have cancelled your order". The last correspondence from Just Eat was a text message saying our order was on the way... They wasted 10 minutes of my life saying they couldn't deliver and making many excuses for it... Ended up hanging up on me and were very rude overall.. Aren't eating anything now until the morning so starving all night. Never ordering from here again

we ordered a set meal for one to share with my friend, and he actually said Quote : "I will never buy a Chinese Meal ever again" he said the food was disgusting even though there was enough for 2 people.

Horrific! Ordered and got a text saying it wont be later than 9.20pm. Rang at 10pm to cancel the order as the people expecting to eat at the given time had to leave. Tried to persuade me to take a 20% discount for food for people that have left hungry. Now it is so late Ill be going to bed hungry and possibly out of pocket. Disgusted at how poor this service was. Avoid like the plague..unless you want to starve!

I had ordered my usual but from a different takeaway, which was rice and barbecue sauce, salt and chilli chicken and honey shredded chicken, but when I got home there was no honey shredded chicken, I phoned up but they turned round and basically called me a bare faced liar, my partner was sick after he had his salt and chilli chicken, the rice was rubbery! I can guarantee I will not be going back to this Chinese takeaway!

Awful. Took 2 hours to deliver the food and when we eventually got it it was barely warm and wasnt what was expected. Beef & mushrooms was more like beef with carrot, onions and a thick salty gravy. Vile. Will never use them again.
