Terrible waited 40 mins over the estimated time and it was burnt to hell when it turned up and stone cold

HORRENDOUS DO NOT ORDER. We ordered food, we got told at the door they had ran out of specific food and the phones did not work and could not contact us to edit the order. Instead we received chicken nuggets and a margarita pizza rather than X2 sausage supper. Within 2 minutes of receiving the order we called the restaurant from the phone linked to the account on the order and they answered within 2 rings (obviously the phone worked and restaurant lying!) THEY WILL NOT REFUND THE ORDER despite their side of things all going wrong (businesses should prepare for these instances to take the loss and Istanbul just don’t!!). Pizza bases not rolled out and super doughy, brown sauce SO vinegary, and chips and nugget’s TASTELESS- WORST CHIPPY IN EDINBURGH!!!!! Very bad customer service and too expensive for what you receive- Go anywhere else other than here!!!

We have ordered a few times now and every time the kebabs have been absolutely lovely. Delivery is very quick. Pricing very reasonable. We always order direct with the shop so never have an issue with waiting long.

Ordered from here on uber eats, took hours to come. Contacted thru uber eats and no reply. Gave up hope of it arriving. Woke up to missed calls in morning at least 3 hours after I ordered. I was still charged for the whole meal I didn't receive as they put delivery completed. After reading the other reviews on here I'm glad I never received it but unhappy I was still charged. Very disappointed 😞

Ordered a burger and chips only got about 10 chips and burger had the tiniest cheese slice on it, of which didn’t even cover half my quarter pounder burger. Stingy as anything. Scumbags

Without a shadow of a doubt the worst takeaway I have ever ordered (I would say consumed but I was worried about the potential health risks from doing so). I also counted how many slices of pepperoni were on my ‘pepperoni’ pizza, it was 3 on a 12”pizza. It is a 7 minute drive and it took over an hour for the food to come which may explain why I have felt hotter ice. DO NOT ORDER FROM HERE IF YOU WANT TO EAT FOOD.

Chips tasted horrible not proper chippy chips, donner meat smells like B.O, chicken dryyy too. £27 down the drain couldn’t eat it 🤮

Shocking service, 80p for a can of juice but 2 cans came to £3 few days later they try putting an extra £1.75 on top of sweets and juice would avoid this place 100%

Very bad experience while ordering food from uber eats, its show one hour of waiting and after the waiting time I contacted the restaurant and they not even start to make the food and I requested for cancellation. But even though they charged from me. And uber eats is telling that they already start making food.

Very bad quality food. Doner smells bad, clearly days old doner meat. Chicken pakora fried hardest, almost like stone seriously. Doner pizza got only sauce, very less cheese, doner meat spreaded after pizza is out of oven clearly can understand cuz I work in dominos part time. They even missed my drink! Why and how are they still on business? Why scottish govt don't do anything about these people?

Ordered through Just Eat. Food never turned up. Was told it was due to the weather and I'm not getting a refund! Absolute theft of the highest order!

Had the chicken kebab wrap, took 4 bites and didn’t finish it - ended up with Salmonella. Used to get food from here after a night out quite a lot but will definitely not be back after this. Would even go as far to say, after reading other reviews on here and JustEat, the place needs shut down.

Worst fast food in life, pizza with very little topping, and garlic bread is just a rip off. Run away

If you value your life… please for the love of god DO NOT EAT ONE BITE OF ANYTHING THIS CLOWN HOUSE MAKES.. ordered food from them and the next again day I was stuck on the toilet with molten lava pouring out of my lower end.. and a bucket on my lap and vomit coming out the other end! Don’t think I will ever recover from what they have done to me. Scarred for life!

Ordered a 16 inch pepperoni at 11:15, told deliver is at 12:30, it Goto 12:4( before I called the shop thru the website my food basket, DO NOT USE THIS! I was told I had no order and after me saying I have proof of purchase i email and an order number the guys insisted I was wrong and I didn’t order from them, I read out the address on the email and they said yes that’s us but I never got a slip printed out, great knowledge of their ordering system. And customer service is needed as he hung up on me after me saying I payed! He said impossible as he has no printout from his machine! Oh my lord uber eaters is all he cared about, really disappointed and will be chasing them for my money! Fraud doesn’t want to be their legacy I’m assuming

Full of idiots and have no professionalism.. Food was cold and chips were soggy. Burger was dismantled completely. Delivery was due for 12.30 but I recieved the delivery at 1.30 because driver and the boss had confusion or it was made to look like to customer not sure. I ordered the meal and drinks were missing too. Will never order from there again.

Ordered via UberEats. Over an hour late, sodas missing, tasteless and above all chicken nuggets in my jalapeno poppers. I was violently ill since I'm a vegetarian 8+ years. No accountability from the "restaurant" or UberEats. Would've rather stayed hungry.

Usually love this takeaway but tonight I got a cheese and garlic pizza as usual and recieved a disgusting greasy pizza with cheese or fake cheese slapped on top pure white tried calling shop and ignored

2 hours and still waiting! Imagine wanting to serve people and do your best but when ive called you over a 100 times not one answer! Try your best to ignore because you want family not one person! TWA*

I wish I’d read the reviews before ordering from them... So as a tourist after driving for 10 hrs, you go on Just Eat and find the closest places to eat, in our case, Istanbul takeaway. I cannot fault the delivery driver, was fast, polite and the delivery was contactless. However, the food is a different story, a lot less food than I expected for the money I paid, the kids portion was a baby portion, the meat was undercooked and we were missing a salad.

Polite staff and especially the taste is very good and awesome. Should taste again and again here

I ordered 12 inch 5 Star Special Pizza which was delicious, I wish they did 16 inch and 14 inch options The chips where below average like oven chips rather than chippy chips

Best donner and chicken kebab in Edinburgh and I've sampled a lot! We had 2x Large chicken kebab with 1x small portion of doner meat ordered for collection but done delivery style. Everything excelled and the donner meat was still edible hours after purchase unlike some other places. Friendly atmosphere and great freshly prepared food

Worst place for wraps atleast. Complete waste of money. The lamb was all like rubber.

Ordered through just eat. 2 hours later nothing. Call afterb2 hours. Incoherent comms about delivery area ...phone call after an hour resulted in nonsense excuses...the delivery are is defined by the shop in the app..will not attempt to use again....

Phoned for a delivery on Christmas Day (night at 11.30pm )was told to place the order online because they were too busy to take it over the phone, have you ever heard anything like it, so online we went placed the order, specified time of arrival of said order 12.15 to half past midnight, we waited and waited then tried several times until 1am but nobody answered the phone it kept giving the busy signal, needless to say our order never arrived and no contact was made, I will not order from here again I was very disappointed and will not recommend this takeaway to anybody, it doesn’t deserve even the 1 star, only got it because you can’t post your review if you don’t put 1 up.....😡

Staff cares about me more than I think anyone in my life ever will. Chips are crispy and the guy said he can put more ketchup on them if I want. Then I didn't know what sauce I wanted for the kebab, so he asked if garlic and chilli sounded good. It did. It was too spicy, but that was my mistake. Also if you get a chip roll they grill the buns for you to make it real crunchy. Love the place

Food took around an hour and a half to arrive and when it finally came they had gotten the order wrong, they had sent out 2 chips instead of chips and cheese so I called back and they said they’d send out a chips and cheese which they never did. The food it’s self isn’t too bad but the portions are a lot smaller when compared to other takeaways who sell it for cheaper at the same quality

I paid for 2x12 inch pizzas...got given 2x10 inch...so undersold for a pizza with undercooked cheese and poor quality of dough. I got charged £2:50 for a 125ml bottle of coke a cola. This was outrageous. The bottle was tiny yet is listed large. 2:50 and you don't list your size of bottles on just eat. Shameless. Delivery driver was incredibly slow, the pizza was undercooked had to bin it and could not call due to them being closed. It's almost as if they knew and thought they'd give me a poor service. Poor time of delivery, poor quality of food, dishonest service by false advertisement and most funny of them all terrible customer communication. I've contacted JustEat and would appreciate it if others are wary ordering from this place. The food is undercooked, the chat is worse and most of all you'll find the food is of a standard expect from a home economics class in high school. Over charged and when queried it the guy was so rude.

Delivery was taking a while over an hour called back to chase delivery man was very rude and swearing over the phone. Very bad service

I would give less than one star but unfortunately can’t, deliberately done me out of money a few times now when confronted him called me a liar. food is disgusting and every time I have ate out of here ended up with diarrhoea. Stay away from this establishment at all costs.

Food may be good....never got to order it as the guy was very rude when I asked him if it was halal, so walked out! Big fat zero star for customer service.

Order from here because they seem to be the only place that sells battered mars bars and was looking forward to one for it not to come with the rest of the food, got a mixed kebab and the bread it came with looked like the small ones you can buy from Tesco along with a curry. Phoned up about the battered mars bar and was told they would send the driver back with it which they didn’t. For the money I spent it really wasn’t worth the service that you get.

Pizza box mushed into pizza. Late delivery. Phoned to complain to no answer. Following day I phoned again to complain and they said I should've phoned last night... refused to make amends at all even though the pizza was inedible.

Reasonable prices for the amount t of food you get. Doner shaved off the spit for your order! Friendly owner and fast service, will visit again.

Tasty enough kebab for the money.
