Ordered with Uber Eats, over 70 minutes late after calling twice, the pizzas arrived with a very annoyed driver and was reprimanded for not waiting in the hotel lobby...! Horror….

Our go to Chinese in Edinburgh! Delicious food and great service at the shop. Never disappoints 😋

Kebab meat was not properly cut and was cold and no chilli sauce with pizza

Excellent advice and help from Janet from the Hermes perfume counter - she was extremely knowledgeable about all the Hermes perfumes - a credit to John Lewis.

It had to be yhe worst place I've been to the place was filthy the staff had not got a clue in how to serve customers if and when you got served. It the best thing that could have happened was not to renew the lease

You know what what you are getting with Starbucks. This place the coffee was a good temperature, not too hot like when you get it scalding hot. I know some people may prefer it that way.

Avoid foid not heated long enough ,stock always low ,service slow ,not given full order,had to request glasses as well ,And not for first time ,closes 7pm 5.30 pm most tables cleaned and ordered off not allowed to sit ,they are in rush to close ,small tables that where left dirty had to ask to ge cleaned 6.10 pm light off and shutter down for the toasties ,the thing about it ,costa in next say go over to this shop as they close earlier ,avoid this shop

We booked this afternoon tea as a treat whilst away for a few days in Edinburgh but can honestly say it is the worst customer service we have received anywhere. To start, we were kept waiting for 20 minutes, after being seated, before anyone came to speak to us and the room was freezing cold. Food was reasonably nice but when asking for another pot of tea, which we had been advised was included in the extortionate price of the afternoon tea, they simply topped up the existing tea bag with hot water. When we asked for a new tea bag you would have thought we had asked for the world! Everything seemed to be too much trouble and made us feel as though we were making a fuss. There was a teaspoon of jam provided to accompany two scones and when we politely requested more jam we were told this was not possible as it had all been measured out according to the bookings for the day....unbelievable! A little more thought and consideration about the customer experience would have made all the difference but sadly we would not recommend this afternoon tea at all, you would do better in the regular cafe with a sandwich, piece of cake and cup of tea.

Estate pub with rowdy young lads watching football. They do not do food as is advised on the website.

If I could leave a 0 out of 5 stars I would , Angus served us and he was the rudest individual towards us Irish girls who just wanted a bottle of Prosecco to start our girlie night out , we spilled a drink and politely asked for blue roll to dry off my table and he said no I then said I please could I have some it’s on my clothes and the blue roll was thrown to me . Absolutely disgusting if we hadn’t of already paid we would have left , so disappointed to see this in 2024 . Disgraceful

El personal gruñón y la tienda compraron pasteles procesados. El pan corto de caramelo se desmorona y sabe falso. Scones son muy secos e insípidos. El personal aquí necesita visitar el centro de jardinería de Pentland para ver cómo es y sabe la comida casera y la hornada casera.
