Been getting pizza for collection from these guys for over 8 years. Consistently delicious. Always friendly and reliable service. One of my favourite Bruntsfield establishments. Never change, pls!

Don’t bother Ordered at 23.20 Accepted order on Uber eats for 20 mins delivery (4 miles away) Turned up over an hour after Driver “it’s too late, it’s past midnight and too far” But we ordered at 11.20 Don’t accept the delivery then Sassy delivery driver. Poor service.

Would not recommend based on the delivery drivers rude behaviour. He took his frustration out on us because he had to make a late night delivery (ordered at 11:30pm).

I’ve been here a few times and the guys here are always friendly, welcoming and genuine. Not only that but the prices are really good and their pepperoni pizza has some of the best tasting pepperoni I’ve ever had. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered food via uber eats, never arrived, what a joke

Ordered takeaway and it was really bad. Delivery was fine but the food was really shocking, pasta didn't have much flavour other than tasting of dish water and there were 2 hairs in the dishes we ordered. Not many olives on the olive feast pizza which was disappointing. Chips were dry too. Will not order from here again.

Popped in at a whim to get a takeaway pizza to take back to the hotel, ended up getting probably one of the best pizzas of my life? Got the vegetarian and the ratio of sauce to mozzarella to toppings was perfect. Thin crispy base, structural integrity, perfect balance of flavours.

Family run Italian restaurant and takeaway. Firmly the highest of quality, served with a very welcoming smile and very sensibly priced considering the quality of the food and portions.

Picked up a vegetarian risotto for dinner. Lovely meal, good portion size. Only had a fifteen minute wait to collect my food. Staff were very friendly and the restaurant was lovely and clean.

Went here tonight for a late meal. Lovely staff, very accommodating, nothing was too much. Food was delicious. Would recommend. Great prices too.

Absolutely delicious - generous portions as well

Ordered through just eat food came an hour late. With high expectations of this from a recommendation I chose this restaurant out of many. The pasta had absolutely no taste and for the pizza I might as well have ate the box for how much flavour it had. I called the restaurant and the “manager Tony answered” and accused me of lying with my complaint as no one ever has anything bad to say about his food and would not help with new food or compromise with refund. Absolutely disgusting customer service and dreadful food.

Ordered via Deliveroo and the food never came??? I understand that you can get very busy over the weekend but don’t accept orders that you can’t fulfil. I literally ordered 2 pasta’s and chips so wasn’t like it was a order for 15 😂 Won’t be ordering from here again.

Most disappointing deliveroo I've ever had. Got it for a small birthday meal, hoping for olive pizza and garlic prawns. The pizza looked like it was Tesco's £1 pizza with a hand full of olives thrown onto it and the garlic prawns looked like frozen prawns mixed with some butter. So sad.

I ordered pasta from this restaurant from the app Deliveroo, it never arrived. I have been waiting more than an hour and the restaurant does not answers to the calls. Deliveroo does not answer to the help center either. Do not order from this restaurant.

I ordered a 2 pizzas and chips from italian connection(which is less than a mile from where i ordered it) and it took over 2 hours for it to be delivered. this is ridiculous, no order especially a small one should take this long.

Ordered at 10 o’clock with the time being for it to be delivered at 11, it got too 11:30 gave them the benefit of the doubt but then time got later, so we phoned asked them about it told us it was just leaving in 5 minutes 25 minutes later we called again and they didn’t answer at all. Tbh food wasn’t even good

Veggie dinner - lasagne was awful it wasn't heated through and was cold and sloppy. Pizza disappointed us too. Not much topping and not very hot either. We waited to pick up so no excuse for it being cold. 😞

Always liked this place but really disappointed tonight. Food had cold bits in it and tasted awful. It's not a bust night so even more disappointed as no reason for food to be cold. Wanted to order locally but because of the cost if food it has to be hit at least.

Over two hours late, order was classed as 'delivered' despite that it wasn't, restaurant didn't answer calls, food was not even warm (never mind hot) anymore upon finally arriving, chewy pizza, first time we ordered from there and sure will be the last time

We are staying in a hotel nearby and the kids really wanted a take away pizza. I was a bit dubious about ordering as reviews seem mixed on Google but Just Eat had much better reviews so we gave it a whirl. We did wait a little longer than we were told when ordering, I think we were told 20 mins by Just Eat website when we placed the order and actually ended up waiting more like 40, but that's no big deal really as it was absolutely worth the wait. The pizzas were on an amazing crisp base with delicious toppings, chips were hot and crispy and my son had a Spaghetti carbonara that was plentiful and delicious. We would definitely order again.

Do not, under any circumstance, order from here. Placed an order through Just Eat, was given an estimated delivery time. It came and went, had heard not a thing, no apologies for possible delay. Called them 2 hours after I placed the order, that was meant to be with my son an hour ago, to be told….it’s just in the oven…..again no apology. To be honest their food is mediocre at best but for some reason my son continues to want to order from here. Never again. Avoid at all costs. They couldn’t care less

That’s twice this has happened to me - not to mention my girlfriend who abstained from a 1 start review as well. Whoever I spoke to (tonight on Dec 12th of 2012 - you are not a nice person at all and I hope our call was recorder) I forgive you. Hopefully, guys, one day you will learn that we are all together in this and bad attitudes get you nowhere. Ciao.

If you want just cheese and dough then it's good for that, but there is no tomato sauce.

We always pick up our takeaways here as they are consistently good. We are veggie , so pizzas, pastas and garlic bread are staples and because there's no minimum price order we have the occasional chips and cheese as an economical and guaranteed tasty snack. Staff are friendly and always made us feel safe through covid times. The garlic bread with cheese is great!

We called this business to place an order for 5 pizzas as we were celebrating a birthday. The first call handler took my oder and we agreed the delivery. I then asked to pay with my card to keep up with Covid precautions and best practise. The gentleman told his colleague "this customer wants to pay by card," there was then a bizarre altercation and argument that ensued, all I heard was "tell him to pay cash!" and the phone line went down. I called back to try and make my payment and another angry man answered the call, I said "I'm just to pay for my oder" and he replied with anger and appalling attitude saying "I'm too busy to take your payment over the phone with card!" I informed the madman that I would not be placing my order. There are no words and clearly no business acumen at all. What an experience! Needless to say, won't be phoning this business again and if this is their attitude to customer service, Covid compliance and general manner - goodness knows what their produce is like!

We always order from Italian Connection click and collect. Always on time, covid safe , efficient and courteous staff and most all great food. Can recommend a make your own veggie pizza using a margherita base plus add ons and we love the garlic bread with cheese. Food is consistantly good here.

Probably the worst service locally, delivery was 45 minutes late. Wrong pizza, missing drinks. I will not be back... Definitely will not be giving positive feedback to friends and family, Extremely poor!

Ordered via Uber eats, the order took 2 HOURS to come despite a predicted delivery time being 25-35 minutes. I don’t know what happened but my order didn’t even leave the restaurant for 1hr40 of that waiting time. I’d rather they’d just cancelled the order it was not worth the wait.

Pizza quality is not worth the price what so ever. Frozen pizza has better quality dough. Ham tasted like what I'd imagine catfood to taste like. Beyond disgusting. Do NOT order from here.

Rude staff who cant deal with their job, walked in to order food and got asked in a rudely manner to leave as they were too busy, I told them I would wait and the guys started shouting at me to leave saying they weren’t going to serve me. Dont know how a place like this is still open..

So gutted at the standard of food here. I ordered the ‘victor’ pizza and it was very bland. The tomato base barely tasted of anything and so much mozzarella all other flavours vanished. Big shame :(

Avoid ordering from this restaurant. Ordered through just eat food was late got a message to say it would arrive in 30mins, 1 hour later still no food and restaurant would not answer phone. Disgusting customer service. Now left with no food and no other restaurants open to order from.

Nobody in the restaurant wore face masks including delivery drivers while other restaurants did. Utensils not cleaned properly But the food was very good and tasty and the staff seem friendly too! Would give 5 stars if it weren't for the masks and utensils.

Excellent, tasty pizza with a nice crispy base. Plenty of toppings. Ordered for collection, but turned up and, despite having the order slip up, hadn't started preparing the order. Meant waiting for longer than I should have had to.

We Bought over Deliveroo. The delivery service was fine but the quality of the food was dire. Absolutely the worst takeaway I've had. Pasta dishes were runny and tasteless with lots of thick hair in them. The burger was salty to the extent of being unable to swallow. The chips were chewy and wet. The bruschetta was dry and chewy. This place made me feel sick afterwards and we ended up wasting half of it. This has been a common opinion to many I have spoken to with experience of this place. I wouldn't even bother.

You need to have a long hard look at how poor of a service place you really are. Let us start with a few factors: Factor 1 - No show of my first order, and the delivery driver had lied claiming it had been delivered. Unacceptable and totally disrespectful. Factor 2 - Deliveroo had reordered my pizza for arrival, and it is not yet arrived and is now 40+ minutes late from expected time. Pandemic aside, their is no justification for falsifying times. Factor 3 - Your staff attitude is disgusting. I had called only to be lied again saying my order was on it's way. Have a word with yourselves you are meant to be professionals yet all I see is poncing and disregards for customer service. Factor 4 - You really need to learn some phone etiquette. Now I have worked in hospitality and in venues far larger and busier than yours. You have no right to talk to me in a brush off like manner. You have no right to provide false information to a paying customer. Last and more important of all you should be honest with how the delivery 0662 was handled. Tell Deliveroo to give me a full refund and show that you do take pride in the product you produce please. A disgruntled and dissatisfied customer.

Delivery was quick, but pizza was overdone and lasagne absolutely inedible, I could not stomach more than 2 bites before binning.

Food quality is awful. Definitely not cooked by Italians. When you can cook better food yourself at home you feel a bit robbed. My advice would be try elsewhere there are other places to eat around this area

They don't seem to care about your time, manners or hygiene given the delivery driver went straight from their car to handling food. Waited over half an hour after being told " 3 minutes". On the plus side the food might taste better because you'll be starving by the time you get it.

So not only did it take an hour and a half for them to assign a driver via deliveroo but by the time the pizza arrived it was stone cold Steve Austin, we had a better time using it as a frisbee for the dog than we did eating it, you’ve upset me, you’ve upset a very hungry lady and you’ve upset my kids. All I wanted was my potato pizza but what I got instead was disappointment and cold tatties.

I dropped in to the take away. I initially asked for a garlic bread and two portions of chips but when they said the garlic bread was a pizza with garlic on then I asked for just the two portions of chips and to leave the garlic bread. The guy seemed really annoyed with me even though he hadn't called through to the kitchen or anything. No one had started making food at that point. I was then overcharged by a pound [£5 rather than £4 total] and they put so much salt on the chips they were inedible which I didn't discover till I got home. I am a person who usually likes a lot of salt and sometimes adds extra when I get home, I am usually happy when they come out salty but this was so salty it felt like it was burning my mouth. I did not ask for extra salt to be clear. I have been there before and it was ok, but after this time I will not be going back. They seem to have decided to try and take revenge for me deciding I didn't want garlic bread when they gave me the option and information to choose at the beginning.

literally offended at how rubbish it was. Would get a much better pizza from the supermarket, it was called "meat feast" .. you would think that would mean at least more than 3 pieces of meat to a whole pizza. Pasta was so far past el dente you could hardly call it Italian. 1 horrible pizza and a terrible pasta. Definitly NOT worth £18 Life will go on but this ruined my Sunday

We’ve been getting deliveries from here for 25 years. Always delicious, freshly made and quick to arrive. Price is reasonable, and the charge to amend set toppings is fine.

Best Italian in Scotland! The food is always perfect with a great selection of pizza and pasta dishes, the garlic mushrooms are so divine we’ve been known to take a 20min train journey followed by a 20min walk just because we’re craving them! Always made to feel welcome and very well looked after. BYOB

This is very close (3 minute walk) to our flat. We've been in Edinburgh now for 2 weeks and needed a quick take out meal. We walked in and 10-15 minutes later, walked out with a delicious, hot pizza, perfectly cooked. Contrary to GaborTuri's comment, we paid with a credit card. Perhaps this is a new policy. You can also eat in, but the ambience is limited. My recommendation is to call in the order or go to the restaurant to order and pick up.

I m visiting them now for a year and they re always in time and taking perfect orders and deliver in time. Although in the restaurant you cant pay by card but theres a cash machine very close and the prices are great! And for the crown: they are always open.. christmas, new year when everything was closed the presented the good quality even they were extremely busy. Thank you

Wow. The aubergine and chicken were the real deal and I'm Italian. The sugo beautiful. A fantastic twist between pollo alla cacciatora and melanzane alla parmigiana. Absolutely loved this!

Really bad service, phoned twice to ask where my order was and in both occasions they said it would be ten minutes. Food arrive cold and stale and no apology from the delivery driver. Sheer ignorance and horrendous service

very very disappointed with Italian connection tonight, I'm a loyal customer and order often. Wednesday night is was a hour late but I just thought it was a one time thing! but ordered again tonight at 7pm and I'm writing this review at 21:12 still without having my food delivered. I have phoned up just to be told that my order is next to go out this was over 40 minutes ago very disappointed

They lost our order then when i phoned after 1.5 hrs they said it would b another 30 mins. when it did finally turn up, dips were exploded over the starters and they had brought the wrong juice. after phoning to complain they said they would deliver another juice and ice cream, this took more time. Overall the whole experience took 3 hrs. Usually love the pizza when i wait and collect but wont be trusting them with delivery again.

I love the pizzas from here! Food is always tasty but the delivery times always seem so long and last time I ordered from them they were late on the extended time they had given themselves to deliver.

My go-to place for pizza in the burgh. They are always really pleasant. The service is prompt. And their Paramentier pizza is so delicious and comforting I have barely explored the rest of the menu. Some day I will. Highly recommend!

Although the food was tasty, it was massively over cooked. There were burnt bits, the meet was dry and some of it hard. Not the best pizza I've had. This is a shame, coz past meals have been very good.
