I liked the pizza very much but the thing that kinda put me off a little was the staff member behind the counter didn’t look professional t-shirt covered in flour which is to be expected a little. no apron on and long hair without a hair net. But other than that all good

Went in asking about the buy one get one free offer on their leaflet, server couldn’t tell me and didn’t even know the price of the pizzas he was serving?! No individual prices advertised on the menus other than their set price offer. Yet you can’t mix the offers, left pizzaless to go elsewhere, what a waste of a journey! Don’t reccomend. Staff/server didn’t have a clue!

I was called yesterday to say that they couldn’t deliver my food as there was road works and it would take 1hr and was trying to get a refund straight away as that was the only money I had left till today when I got paid. I was told I could get the food but it would be cold and I said no as I am not going to pay for cold food the lady I spoke to said it would take 3 to 5 working days then it changed to 5 to 7 working days and I was not happy with this as I then couldn’t order anything else as had no money left I also asked if I could get my order from another shop but there wasn’t one close enough I also asked to speak to the manager that I couldn’t and she went to call someone to try fix the problem and couldn’t solve it and she said I could call and speak to a manager tomorrow and I did but still couldn’t speak to manager and the guy was rude to me when I was explaining what happened and said well I should budget better and said is that all and that he has better things to do so I said to him that he’s being quiet rude and he said I was rude yesterday to the lady. Totally unacceptable don’t order from here.

Great for delivery as we don’t live too far away. The food comes quick and as expected, we always go for the chicken wings, a pizza and some extras. Depending on the order amount we also use one of their discounts.

False adverts on student discounts. When I scanned the bar code the page not opened. They asked me to pay the full amount, and the ambience is too poor.

Rmb to look for discounts, the price is extremely marked up but its a good deal after discounts applied

My spouse and I had lunch at Papa John's in 10 Bankhead Avenue, Edinburgh, Scotland, during our recent trip. last December, to the United Kingdom. We ordered the Chickens Club Pizza as our main course, which included tomato sauce, mozzarella cheese, chargrilled chicken, sliced onions, and fresh tomato. We also sampled Cheese Garlic Sticks, Giant Chocolate Chip Cookies, and Giant Double Chocolate Brownies. The food was delicious, and there was plenty for two people. The service was prompt, and the cost was reasonable. The food was delicious. I recommend it to pizza lovers.

Made an order on line, which was severely delayed. I attempted to contact them but the number on their website and on google maps is wrong. No way of contacting them. Appalling. Once the food did eventually arrive it certainly wasn’t hot.

Worst pizza experience. Used to order before pizzas weren’t great but not bad. But recently they have decided to just be bad and pathetic. Especially if you order afternoons the pizzas are pathetic. Toppings are not chopped correctly. Hardly any chicken toppings. Will never order from Papa Jones again.

Always great pizza. If you order ahead, you get very fresh pizza and you won't have to wonder how many stops your pizza made before it got delivered. Also, there's no delivery to my address so this really works for me

Myself and my roommates order frequently from this papa johns and we have Never had any issue with it! Food is always hot and fresh, speedy delivery and the delivery drivers are always friendly and careful with the food. 10/10.

I waited for 1h and 40 mins and it wasn't even what I ordered. Pizza was cold i had to microwave it to make it somewhat edible. Very disappointed will never order again from them

Very nice pizza although would say that Bee Sting didn't live up to name as not particularly hot.

UPDATE: On 6 August Papa John's have been in touch regarding my feedback I sent to them and apologised for the mistake. They gave me a full refund for the order and a voucher for a free large pizza. Last night (24.7.2021) I oredered 2 large pizzas. A Garden Party and a Vegan Garden Party. I have ordered several times until now, but surely this will be the last one. On the vegan pizza I found a slice of salami. That is totally unacceptable for me. I had trust in this store, although have read so many bad reviews about it and other stores too, I was just feeling lucky to have a PJ's near to me that respects and understands customers' dietary requirements. I am sorry, you lost 2 customers now as I will never ever buy anything from you, because of that one tiny slice of salami one of the negligent employees have placed either accidentally (?!?) or on purpose on my pizza. Thanks a lot.

Served by friendly staff, even get a courtesy call to say pizza is ready (collection). Had "the works", full of nice topping. Very nice! I like dominos too but between the two here I use in Edinburgh, between Dom's and PJ's, PJ's is better, sorry Dom's, great pizza and service PJ's!

Forgot the hot dip for the cauliflower wings so was left eating raw battered cauliflower. Chicken wings were absolutely rotten. Avoid!!

Después de que 40 minutos de comida llegaran tarde, los llamé después de buscarlos en Google, ya que el número de solo comer (donde pedí) fue completamente engañado. Estoy estacionado en un camión realmente difícil de perder. Soy el único 1 estacionado donde dije. Aparentemente, Stevie maravilla es el conductor de la entrega ya que no pudo encontrarme. Primero, esto ha sucedido, ya que siempre me estaciono aproximadamente en la misma área cuando estoy en Edimburgo. Aparentemente intentaron llamarme. Pero el número no funcionó. Teniendo en cuenta que ninguna otra comida para llevar ha tenido un problema para llamarme que es un montón de bs. (A algunos lugares les gusta llamar antes de enviarlos al camión para verificar que sea un pedido genuino). Guy por teléfono solo miente y cuando le dices que deje de mentir, comienza a tropezar con sus mentiras. Incluso dijo ser sincero, simplemente no podía ser molestado. Prometió recibir una pizza fresca, pero no me gustó un poco de saliva y cualquier otra cosa que pudiera hacer, exigí un reembolso y ordené desde otro lugar. Lo cual fue muy, muy agradable y notablemente me encontró sin ningún problema.

Whilst waiting for our pizza I watched a member of staff scratch his arm pit (under his polo shirt) and proceed to start rolling out dough, utterly disgusting... The recent pass from the scottish food hygiene scheme on display seems ironic.

We use Papa Johns for our Paintball site and I cant rate them highly enough. Never messed us around, never made mistakes on our orders and they are always bang on the dot time wise. Great food and great service.

La pizza estaba caliente, fresca, sabrosa y rematada con todo lo que pedí. La entrega fue rápida. Una pequeña crítica sería a pesar de haber ordenado una costra delgada que mi pizza todavía era bastante "pesada". Prefiero una base muy fina y crujiente. No sé si obtuve una base estándar a pesar de ordenar delgada, o si esta es su base delgada que no es tan delgada en absoluto.

Very slow service. Went to order a lunch time pizza. After sitting for 15 minutes I checked to see if it’s ready. I then saw them just preparing my pizza and putting it in oven.

The best customer service I ever had. Once my pizza was super late and I had a free pizza next time for apologise. Pizza always hot and fresh with loads ingredients on it. Best one !

We got a delivery when staying locally. Oh my goodness - the food was absolutely amazing! We got 40% off too which meant we got a lot of food for our money. Both pizza and sides were delicious and the delivery was quick too.

I ordered a pizza to collect tonight for the first time .... unfortunately there was an accident on the A71 and traffic on stop so I phoned to let them know I had no idea when I would be able to pick it up. The person who answered the phoned said my pizza was already in the oven but not to worry as they would make me a fresh one whenever I was on the move again (1h30 later !) when I finally picked it up he gave me the first one they cooked and a fresh one free of charge . I was very impressed with the service and the very helpful staff .... will definitely be back and the pizza was excellent .

I got the correct pizza but my side was wrong and this isn't the first time.

Walked in and asked for a menu... she said yes just give me a 1 min. 15mins later still nothing.... I have now just walked out and I am finding another place to get something to eat. Disgusted

Epic pizza destroys dominoes enough said

We ordered a meal online from this outlet, which took well over an hour to be delivered (we don't live far away from it). We were on the phone to complain when it finally arrived. It must have been in transit for a while, because everything was only lukewarm. After heating up a little in the oven we didn't think much of the garlic bread, the potato wedges were tasteless, the pizza disappointing, and overall it was just too expensive. Not going to spend my money here again; pizzas will either be home made, cheap from the Co-op, or proper ones in a restaurant. Read my other reviews for good pizza in Edinburgh!

Thw food is great however doesnt reflect the price. Almost 30 quid for 1 pizza and no sides or juice. Dwlivery time can be an hour and a half.

Pizza not any better than other fast food pizza but more expensive, garlic pizza had a bit of a funny taste, potato wedges tasteless, delivery took long and everything was pretty much cold...

High quality pizza with fast collection and delivery times

Ordered two large pizzas and sides for collection which was a struggle because car park was full but the premises empty of customers (staff use perhaps?). Food was good with lots of toppings. Experience was let down by the website shopping cart which could have been more clever and offered a cheaper way to buy our simple order. Manager later rectified this with a refund.

Sorry not the best pizza and side's I've had. Domino's still rock .
