it's the first time I've ordered from this takeaway, but the chicken tikka Madras & nan bread was one of the best I've had in years, so good start.

Actually 25 mins early, and this time, everything perfectly cooked. Seekh kebabs only warm, not hot. Good, though.

Good food, except naan bread overdone, parts dry like a biscuit. Delivered early, but I wish they'd used the app to tell me it was on its way.

Good food, but missing my poppadoms. When I called the restaurant, no issues, apologetic, promised to send them out. The arrived about 30 minutes later. I'm gobsmacked. He'd very different experience with them in the past, this time the were really good! I recommend their Simikot Lamb.

Mushroom pakora was totally different from last time, as it was in red coating and not cocked well... But curry was nice.

Pakoras were drier than Gandhi’s flipflop could ave knee capped someone wi them, asked for a chicken bhuna and lamb roganjosh they got mixed up - no sure how far a drive it is but recon the driver ate half my popadoms and the middle of my nan bread, then cause the bag was a bit lite thought he’d sit on it incase it blew oot the window

Very average - heard very good things about this but there wasn’t much meat in the portions. Ordered a lamb bhuna & tikka massala and both were quite tasteless. Ordered poppadums thinking I’d get a few - got one, the mango chutney was so runny and watered down. The delivery driver couldn’t find my house and was a having a right old moan to me down the phone. Probably won’t order again :(

Food was excellent but way too much sauce. As for quantity too much for one person. I couldn't finish it! Mushroom bhaji was not what I thought it was but it was delicious. Will order again at some point.

All the food was really nice apart from the chicken pakoras which were rock solid and were inedible, they should never have been sent like that. Food was early and driver was friendly. Such a shame as the rest of the food was lovely!

Pakora batter was barely cooked, soft and horribly spongey and the paratha arrived broken into 3 and also uncooked. The main was just ok. Chicken thrown into a sauce. Avoid.

One poppadom in its own bag smashed to a thousand prices. Aloo - potatoes where hard to bite and dish was cold. Chicken pakora was completely Inedible. The whole lot went in the bucket before we lost teeth. Over cooked within an inch of its life. Boiled rice was cold on arrival and we had a random pea - suppose is would t complain of it's free. first and last time ordering

Lamb tikka hard, chewy, smells.curries oily,no taste,nan bread dry.never had food from them from few years, definitely something changed 🫣

Best curry in Edinburgh! Always arrives fast and they make it exactly how you want it if you’d like any adaptations to your favourite dish. Just brilliant!

Chips were old, reheated and absolutely disgusting. Not as digusting as one of the side breads which literally dripping with fat. Photographs taken and will be placed on TrustPilot. This meal was about as disgusting as it gets.

Really excellent meal. Arrived hot and stayed hot for ages. Was really tasty and fresh with great flavours. Very pleased and would recommend.

Food was due to arrive between 1855 and 1915 arrived at 1935. Only one naan bread in my order despite ordering two. We eat food regularly from Ruby Murray food is always good but tonight spoiled by late delivery as it was lukewarm and also the missing food.

Lovely meal but now too expensive. Curry now a tenner. Sides prices hiked too. But the add-ons are now ridiculous. Delivery too dear at £3. 50p for using a card to pay is just an i sult. And 30p for a bag they couldn't supply the meal without is an absolute rip off. I'm afraid I wont be back.

Butter chicken is one of our favourite recipes and it was a real pleasant surprise to pickup one of the best we have ever had. Thank you

The butter chicken and rogan josh were very mild. Much more than expected. The chicken was hard and dry cubes. Not like fresh chicken at all. The rice and naan bread were fine. Also the portions were good.

Again, food was absolutely lovely. Piping hot when arrived and delivery was early which suited! Fab service. Butter chicken is just amazing - wouldn’t go anywhere else now.

I ordered from here on the recommendation of a friend. I was a wee bit underwhelmed to be honest. All the food was a bit bland and one dimensional, the stuffed paratha was burnt and greasy, the vegetable samosas were lacking in flavour as well.

Curry was nice but I found a bit of meat in my vegetarian curry! I won’t order again :(

Not hot very watery and tasteless

They forgot to give one dish to the delivery driver, but redelivered very quickly when I called to ask them about it. The tandoori chicken was very good. Raita tasted very odd, more like cheese than yoghurt. But veggie dishes, naan and onion bhaji were decent and there was plenty for the next day.

This was the first time that I have used both the app/delivery and takeaway and was impressed by both would definitely use again

Food great quality as usual, but missing a few sundries. Just Eat refunded missing items as a voucher.

The chapati was uncooked! The chicken curry was very poor. Bits of chicken with some ghastly curry sauce poured over it. The lamb curry was passable and the nan was fine.

Been using Ruby Murray for many years, had a couple of bad yins but on the whole they are very good

Considering my order was on a Tuesday evening I was surprised the delivery was so late (about 20 mins after the 1hr 15 min quoted time). The food was lovely without a doubt but I had to heat it up when it arrived as it was a bit lukewarm. One of the main reasons I always prefer to collect myself but couldn’t on this occasion.

Been living in the area for 6 months now and used Ruby Murray a few times and always enjoyed it. Quite surprised at comments and I feel these are not a true reflection on this place. Go and get a curry from here and you will enjoy it as we always so. Cant beat having a good curry place in your local area. Cheers Ruby Murray.

Food tasted very good but was not the warmest when it arrived

Wow. The food was beautiful! I asked for the Chilli Garlic to be cooked extra hot, it was lovely. Rice, naan and spinach all cooked perfectly. The only slight negative was the consistency of the mango chutney, too watery. Everything else was spot on. Thank you

Amazing Chicken Tikka Biryani, fantastic veg sweet n sour curry. Tasty Nan though a wee bit small. The Lamb Tikka starter great the yougurty sauce with it is outstanding.

Been a customer of the Radhuni for years, this place is 10 times better. North Indian Garlic Chilli chicken is just brilliant, complex flavours, I feel Radhuni are hiding behind their awards now. Seriously, this place a try.

Would have been five stars but no sauces for the Pakora or shish kebab.

Food was excellent. My daughter had the Chicken Ceylon and she said it was the best curry she had had in a long time.

So disappointed. Has been our go to curry place for the past year or so but our order tonight was so bland and watery. Ordered mango chutney and it was so watered down it was more like mango juice :/ phoned up to complain and the guy was so rude, saying it wasnt possible for it to taste bad then just stopped talking to me, very weird experience. Won't be going back :(

After waiting for 2hours!!!!! I was told by the restaurant they were busy and the gentleman put the phone down when I was still talking! Won’t be ordering from here again

After waiting an hour and 20 minutes I called to see where our food was. The man on the phone said they had problems with their driver and our food was sitting waiting to be brought to us. We live 2 streets away. Our food finally arrived after 2 hours. The food was soggy, cold and been obviously sitting around for a while. My husband called to ask why the food was cold. The man on the phone literally said "the food was cooked fresh" and then hung up. Obviously the food was not cooked fresh and had been sitting around waiting for the driver. Such a shame as we are regular customers. A really shocking attitude from the restaurant.
