Good chicken döner! It was made to order fresh and with all the trimmings. This thing kept me and the wife fed the rest of the night and helped soak up some of the alcohol

Overcharged me. I asked for a 9 inch meat feast pizza with Jalapeños which should’ve been £10.90. The man charged me £12.80

Rude staff, even though it was empty, I felt like I was unwelcome and the order was nuisance. Food okay.. although the mayonnaise tasted like salad cream (hopefully in date!) It was a stop on the way back to the hotel but wouldn’t frequent again, especially with so much choice in Edinburgh.

Food was dry, burnt, old. Something. It's the 3rd time I've ordered from here. They seem to not care.

Amazing for after a night out. Huge portions, amazing chips, very generous with sauces. Workers are very funny and kind. I got doner, garlic, chips and cheese.

Came a cross this place last night Polite while taking the order, food was delicious This is now my main place to go to get donor meat No greasy and no dry (it's just perfect 👌) And the chilli sauce 😋 😋 Table was abit dirty other than that my husband and I didn't have any issues. Will definitely be back, highly recommended.

The worst mixed shawarma I’ve ever had - and I’ve had many. My wife said the same. The red shawarma sauces tasted like ketchup, and I don’t even know what the white sauce was.

Bobby’s answered my late night vegetarian prayers. Had a delicious halloumi and falafel wrap here, with loads of lovely fresh salad and yummy garlic / chilli sauces. Also loved that it came in the proper middle eastern flatbread. Really nice friendly staff too, I recommend!

We had amazing shawarma here. It was fresh, hot and delicious. It was also enormous. The falafel was great. The chips was perfect. This place saved us when we didn’t have a reservation for dinner and every other place had a 30-60 minute wait.

Cannot beat the Kebabs here - sat in for a bite to eat during festival so much cheaper than anywhere nearby - week served chicken kebab - friend had the dinner £8 each big plateful - communal toilet thou- other than that will defo be back- best kebab for a long time

Avoid!! I went here late on Saturday evening and ordered a pizza. Waited for it to be cooked and then took it back to my hotel without checking the box. Once i got to the hotel and opened the pizza, i discovered it was burned to a crisp and unedible 😡 The server will obviously have known about this and still decided to hand it over to me. Shocking food quality and a lack of respect for customers

Was on a trip with my work and the man serving us tried to touch one of the kids hair and kept asking to touch his hair. Very strange.

This is a very good and friendly place. The food and the guys are awseome. I’ll tell anybody to try this place!. Exceptional. Food in here is economic and you will get a lot of food! Posto scoperto per caso, ci siamo andati senza sapere nulla! Non c’è molto posto da sedere all’interno ma le porzioni sono MOLTO abbondati è il cibo è molto buono e a un prezzo onesto. I ragazzi sono molto gentili e disponibili. Consigliatissimo!

More than one report of the staff being creeps to young women who visit during late night hours. Avoid like the plague.

Walked in to have a quick dinner. Three men sitting around, no one spoke to us. We stood there for five minutes then left.

We walked past Bobby's and the friendly chef preparing in the window waved us in, after we watched him assembling the kebabs, trying to decide if we wanted one or not. Our mixed doner kebab was fresh, with lots of meat and salad and they kindly cut it in half for us, too, as we were sharing. Really delicious.

Uncooked chips. The most simple thing surely

Me and my long time friend George come to Edinburgh quiet weekend. We went to bobby's for a late night snack, let me tell you this place provides. We both had the mixed shawarma and truth be told it was marinated it was moist it was delicious. My friend ordered pizza as well and I'll be honest I didn't expect they would be able to ride a good pizza, but guess what, they did. I would recommend bobby's to anybody in a 40 mile radius he is one of the most highly prized kebabsist's in the UK.

I have never had a good meal from this place ever, and I've only visited while drunk which really goes to show the quality of the food. Do not come here it should be shut down.

Service was very poor. The employees are a bit rude.. But the food was good. Not great or fantastic but a good late night meal.

Had a chicken shawarma wrap the other evening. I have literally been battling one of the worst cases of food poisoning I’ve ever had. I’ll never go there again.

Bad quality food. The falafel was horrible and the added lamb in it desppite the fact I didn't ordered it. They charged more than what we ordered, unfortunately I did realise when I was going back home. I would never recomend this place or come back.

Food is bad. Dry bland meat slapped on a stale pita too small to form into a wrap. I had no idea a person could make a kebab this bad yet here it is.

I like the fried fish and onion rings, however the chicken pakora is a bit too oily. Overall I like the meal that I ordered.

Agreed with previous reviews. Super stingy portions, chicken was dry as hell and so was the wrap. Tasted like paper and couldn't eat it although I always finish my food. Chips were soggy and undercooked. Would not recommend.

Döner was too cold and too expensive

Little Bobby would be rolling in his grave. Half my donner meat was dry and crusty, probably sat there since his owners death. Also asked for normal donner and they could not compute and tried throwing the chicken stuff in my tray, had to give them a swift telling off. Probably going to pay for it in the morning on the throne. Increase my cardiovascular risk which I’m not happy about but what else can you do if you’re hungry at 1am

Reheated food service was good and friendly the foot itself was reheated asked for chips and cheese ready within moments chips literally dipped in fryer to reheat and served

Ordered and collected a Donna kebab and a chicken kebab whilst visiting Edinburgh on Sunday 19th December. The hotel was a 2 minute walk away. Had to throw the food away as it was stone cold. No stars for Bobby on this occasion If I could but have to highlight one star to be able to post

Donner meat was dry and we went back to get fresh and they gave us dry again. Useless staff, they clearly don't know the difference between yesterday's and todays meat. Close the place down.

Ordered 2 kebabs and 2 chips which were £3.50 each for the chips and they did not get delivered. I rang up and was told had to complain through just eat. I've read other reviews who have had the same problem. Surely its not just eats fault if Bobby's kebab house don't give the driver the chips deliver!!

Average no thrills kebab, not too pricey either. Decent staff, quick service. Probably more enjoyable after a few more Whiskey's though.

Ordered for the first time here last night, my partner got the Hawaiian pizza and I ordered the cheeseburger and chips and chilli sauce. The pizza was great (according to my partner) and I've finally found somewhere in Edinburgh that does a decent thick chilli sauce. Will definitely be ordering again

Echt nicht gut, Fleisch war kalt, Brot schlechte Qualität. Nicht mal mit 4 Bier intus, schmeckt es hier.

All i can say is wow, this place is literally the best place for kebabs and pizza.etc I absolutely love the pizza perfectly cooked and the kababs were amazing love love love it. The staff were friendly and kind.

Cheap but in no means cheerful, pizza was burnt, frozen fish was used in the supper( even my cats wouldn't eat it)onions rings burnt only thing that was half decent was the meat donar. Definitely won't be ordering from them again..

Alrededor de las 00:00, quería comer algo. Así que probé este lugar. Le pregunté a un kebab. Tienen 2 tallas pero no me preguntaron qué quería. Simplemente me dejaron pagar el grande.Entonces, para el 6, 80, tuve una especie de pan, con ensalada vieja, cebolla y carne. . . Cuando lo crují, algo de grasa estaba goteando pan. El sabor era como un bocadillo viejo olvidado después de una larga noche.Para concluir, eso no fue honesto, caro y simplemente comestible.

One of the worst kebabs I've had.

Meat tasted old, half of it was cold, the server was rude, didn’t even ask the basic questions that are usual when someone orders, them became increasingly rude when I began telling him the sauces I wanted in my kebab. Also who doesn’t serve a HSP???

I really appreciated the value and the attention to detail that the gentleman who prepared my Kebab put into my dish. He was happy to make sure I received exactly the condiments, salad, portion, flavors...everything was really helpful, and the portion size was HUGE, this kebab lasted me until breakfast the next day. I really appreciated seeing how he juggled all of the orders coming in and how everyone seemed to have a slightly specific special order and never did he seem frazzled or upset with providing each customer with exactly what they wanted! Thanks so much!!

Slightly expensive but good food. We ordered the 9 inch box deal for £7.50 which comprised of doner meat, chips, salad, 2 chicken pakora, 2 vegetable pakora and 4 onion rings. Also ordered a deep fried Mars bar for an additional £2.50, which we really enjoyed! This restaurant serves Halal food.

Food is nice but I asked for a lamb shish wrap which is £6.95 a small Lamb shish kabab is £6.00 I asked what is the difference and was told they have the same things in them but a 'wrap was harder to make' as they had to wrap it then told a wrap is more expensive than a pita bread. Erm... No. Price ain't too bad but asked oh can I add cheese to the just salad and lamb. 70p extra. Don't bother. Wrap it so well it leaked all over my top. Blinking great ( very sarcastic)

Well, I have had worse, but the pizza is still undercooked and pretty bad. Can only eat here if I'm really drunk.
