Got the special biryani, tasted class. Food is pretty well priced in general. Bloke gave me an extra veg dish on top of everything. Would definitely recommend.

Delicious food, and ready right on time. And honestly, it smells so good inside I could just stay there for an evening.

Although Just Eats messed things up which meant our delivery was very late. The lamb methi & mutter paneer etc was excellent, some of the best poppadums I’ve tasted. Juicy n tasty lamb. All not halal or we wouldn’t have ordered 👏🏼

Really disappointed, ordered a curry which tasted like tomato soup. The chicken was pre cooked stripped chicken. Would not go back or recommend.

AMAZING BUTTER CHICKEN! Perfect to take away when hungry late (big hot portion, great value). Super friendly staff :) I will come as often as it takes to put my picture on the wall as the butter chicken girl.

We used to have curry leaf all the time but recently went down hill. Was very late, had to call a few times and they kept saying it was on its way. When the order arrived it wasn't the spice we had asked for specifically and bland. Such a shame as this was always our go to. Had to go elsewhere now.,

We've ordered Curry Leaf take-away at least a dozen times now. Food is always delicious & staff are so friendly & professional. Never a wrong order, not even once. They were also very helpful & clear when we were ordering for a celiac guest staying w. us. Very highly recommended.

Food was delicious but delivery was 20 mins late

We read the reviews and still went ahead and ordered. Result......very nice. Delivery was bang on 6:30 pm as expected. The food was hot and plentiful. Lots of Dips. Overall, it was a very nice meal at a very fair price. We would definitely recommend them based on our experience

The starter and Naan bread were fine but everything else was poor. The dip the starter came with had clearly been watered down and the curry was quite watery also. We only decided to go to this Indian because when I lived in the area, it was quite a few years ago, it had a great reputation. Worse Indian I've had in a while, many much better just down the road in Morningside.

We live right down the street and any time we order take out it’s fast, affordable and delicious! I love the butter chicken, chicken tikka & palak paneer. We’ve tried different delivery in the area and it’s always double the price and just okay. Love that we can get a feast here for a fraction of the price and everything is tasty even down to the free popadoms!

Curry & rice needed to be reheated, but taste was fantastic. The vegetable samosas are so delicious, I get extra for a light lunch next day. I do miss the wee pots of chilli I used to get with them though.

Ordered at 6.39, delivered at 8.27 with no apology or complementary food as way of apology. In no rush to use again as custom really does not feel valued. Will try somewhere else next time!

Waited 2 hours for lukewarm food and hand to spend 10 minutes on the phone directing a delivery driver to our house which is easily findable on Google Maps. Food was nice but not worth the wait and the hassle.

Always spot on quality wise. Discovered this place in 2016 and I've never found anywhere that is guaranteed to quell my curry craving so reliably. Outstanding.

One of the few places I order lamb from. Its always slow cooked to perfection and its good quality meat. Flavoursome and juicy. No matter what sauce I've tried from here it always hits the spot. I'm a massive fan.

Worst Indian ever,cold and tasteless,disgusting

Food eventually arrived (after chasing) having sweated through bags and was stone cold. Chucked the lot. I'm not reheating takeaway food. Just Eat applied a £5 credit (not a refund) and refused further support. Just Eat deleted and won't use them or Curry Leaf again.

We had takeaway last night. It was really tasty. I had the Lamb Palak which was great. I wasn't a great fan of the aubergine pakora but the chicken pakora and onion bhaji were great. I'll definitely order from here again.

Just saw the guy behind the counter (dunno his name) try and start a fight with s customer???? Have not tried the food, cannot offer commentary.

Late delivery isn’t a big issue if they make you aware it’ll be late… but I had to phone 30 minutes after expected delivery to chase, then phone an hour after expected delivery… the restaurant didn’t make the effort to tell me, I had to keep calling…

It is dreadful. You can do much better. Because of my generous nature I’ll give it one star, but i won’t be returning.

Great tasting food, quantity and quality was superb, always VERY early which is great when you have a partner who is starving lol, ordered twice now and on point everytime. Definitely found our place to order for a chicken korma! Would highly recommend... 10/10

All I could eat was the fried rice and all this for over £17. Will never order again from here, dreadful. Waiting times were over an hour.

Another delicious curry from the Curry Leaf. My first time trying the Chilli garlic prawns and it was one of the best curries I’ve had! Been ordering from here for seven years and would recommend to anyone.

Wouldn't recommend. Garlic nan was like a soggy biscuit, salmon curry, tasted like chicken so I presume it was cooked in chicken sauce, the mushroom curry side was horrid, which psychopath cuts mushrooms in half and adds it in to a curry? All the other restaurants don't leave it looking like half a hammer and lastly the delivery time was well over 45mins late. Avoid at all costs

Really nice food (Tikka Masala, Korma and Peshwari Naan). One small mistake with a wrong side dish delivered, but the restaurant were very easy to deal and with, and replaced the dish very quickly and with no fuss at all - impressive service, thank you!

Disgusting!! I make better curry’s!! Chicken Jalfrezi tasteless??? No flavour at all just don’t understand how they could charge for that! Learn to make a base gravy!!! Had chicken korma that blows your head off!! Unbelievable go elsewhere this place is terrible!!!

Best curry in the area for value

Really enjoyed the fish pakora. Mushroom dish was a little bland, but would certainly order again and avoid the mushrooms.

Ordered two curries, both tasted the exact same, both were just tomato soup with some spice added. One of the curries was not sealed properly so leaked inside the bag leaving a 1/4 of the curry in the tiffin, The side of mushrooms were inedible as they burnt the garlic, and they forgot to add our drinks. Disappointing to say the least.

The order came fast which was nice. The stir fry dish we ordered was OK, it had a nice spice to it, but it was more mild rather than the medium it was advertised as. The Malay chicken curry was quite disappointing. It didn't really taste sweet, it was pretty bland and had no after taste; they used tinned pineapple which shows. The rice was very watery too. Overall it was a miss for us - it's not the worst food, but there's a lot to be desired.

Food was amazing and delivered earlier than expected. Only issue I had was there were no poppadoms with my order even though I paid for 2. But restaurant amazing and refunded me the money for them. DEFO ORDER AGAIN

food arrived barely warm as delivery driver got lost for 10 minutes and didn't listen to my instructions on how to find me. When delivered I noticed poppadums were missing and driver just shrugged and said well thats all they gave me. Tried to phone restaurant but ignored. Rice was all clumped together and curry was far too oily. Won't be back, there's much better elsewhere.

We've been searching for a new curry place after our old place changed chefs - and oh my goodness did Curry Leaf deliver! You can really tell the people cooking this love food :) our search for a new regular curry place is over!

Wow, sensational flavour bomb! Best curry I’ve had in Edinburgh and naan was nnnnnaughty. All washed down with two cans of pop! Lovely

Compared to my last order I am sorely dissapointed. Still reasonably tasty but it was a red/orange basic Curry Gravy with (a reasonable (just)) amount of meat. NOT an North Indian Garlic/Chili Chicken as is understood in Britain. No Garlic other than in the Gravy. 3 small green chillis added at the last minute. Poor show. A really really poor show. As before the Garlic and Chilli Nan had little of either. Not using these guys again I think.

Garlic Chilli Chicken the Red one rather than Green. Very Hot and Flavoursome. Lots of Chicken and Hot and Spicy. Garlic and Chilli Nan very bland. Will order again but Nan not too good for the price.

For some reason the curry’s tasted sweet. The naans had no kick of garlic , cheese or whatsoever.

So promising from reviews but in reality such a disappointment- because of its late delivery the food was at best just warm. Chicken was tough. Overall can’t say I would recommend this establishment.

All the vegetarian sides were amazing and really tasty even the rice.I didn't enjoy chicken Rogan josh. It was nothing like a Rogan josh should be and was bright orange instead of brown and the Chicken was tough. The chicken pakora was over cooked and dry. Chicken needs to be moist and succulent. Will try this place again.

I have been ordering food here since a year ago and the food is always fantastic. Honestly, I don't understand how people can have had bad experiences ordering food from here . The dishes are also very well sized and we can eat two people just ordering one dish.

As always, the food was great. It’s such a shame as I hate giving bad reviews when a restaurant’s food is so consistently good, but this is the 3rd time in a row they have delivered late. This time, 35 mins late with no update call or text from the restaurant as some others have done in the past. 1 hour and 35 minutes to deliver to an address 1 mile away? Not good enough guys. Sort it out!
