My brother and I popped in for coffee. Staff were welcoming and friendly - showed us to a table for four next to the window, so we could enjoy the lovely view in the sunshine. Service was great and coffee delicious. We liked it so much that we went back later for lunch. Again, the staff were helpful about a nice table away from the entrance and bar. Deliciously chilled Chilean Sauvignon blanc and a very good soup of the day. We also shared a portion of chips and they were fantastic - crisp on the outside and fluffy within. Altogether a great experience on a day when, for sad personal reasons, we especially appreciated being looked after! Thank you.

Visited this place several times and it is always very welcoming with good service. The menu is extensive and the food delicious. Good prices too. And of course a wonderful view from many of the tables.

Walked all the way along from the rail bridge end looking for a place for coffee and glad we chose Orocco Pier. Staff were very friendly and welcoming, service was good, view out over the Forth was excellent and the toilets were very good. Often places let themselves down by neglecting the toilets. All in all, very happy to have dropped in.

The food was amazing and excellent value for money. The staff were helpful and very friendly. A great way to celebrate our son's 30th birthday!

On the food front I thought it was pricey, given the portion sizes, which were small. I was looking forward to the coleslaw with my burger. I think it was most likely two teaspoons that were served - not much eating in that. Thought the booze too was massively overpriced. Nice view and good service but really would like value for money on the consumables too.

We sat outside, as there were no tables inside and we hadn’t booked. The food was really lovely and really fantastic service! The staff are so nice, and welcoming! The view is also fantastic.

Nice view of the bridge. Food wasn't anything better than I would have gotten at a Buffalo Wild Wings in the States however. Service was slow, especially for drinks. Clientele is like what you'd get for a sales convention in a US city at a chain hotel restaurant or bar. Not quite what we generally prefer.

Really enjoyed the haddock and chips and partner had the Euro Burger. Staff were really polite and meal served quick. I would have given you 5 stars but the cleanliness needs looked in to. Partner noticed coffee machine? at corner of bar, that he was facing while eating was dusty and a thick layer of dust under it too. Toilets were disgraceful! I know this is probably the public's fault, but toilet paper on the floor everywhere and the smell was horrible I baulked twice and held my nose. Couldn't get out fast enough. Very poor. Should be checked more often.

It is a Bea place indeed but the service is chaotic and rude unfortunately. Once ordered, no one attended leaving dirty dishes on the table

Had roast beef which was mostly fat only a sliver of beef. It was £22 which I thought was quite expensive compared to others in the area. Told the waitress and showed her my plate which was full of fat. No discount offered but they still managed to add a service charge to the bill which I asked them to take off. The rest of my family’s meal was nice but will not return

We went for lunch and were not even brought a lunch menu. We were completely ignored and other tables were given them. We waited for ten minutes and then got up and left. Very young team of staff who clearly don’t want to be at work. Avoid.

We had the Sunday roast, which was very good! Really friendly service & incredible views of the Forth rail bridge. Would definitely go back.

Met a friend there that I had not seen in years. Booked ahead and got a window seat, what a view. Very welcoming attentive staff. We chose the Sunday Roasts, my friend had the beef and I had the pork. Nicely presented and tasty, beef lovely but the pork had too much fat on it for my liking. We had sticky toffee pudding for sweet and it was lovely. Drinks wise I had an Apple Virgin Mojito which was totally tasteless and full of crushed ice so I would not recommend, waste of money. Service charge added to bill which I had no problem with as the staff were great. It was good to be in a restaurant with decent music. So all in all happy with the visit apart from the rubbish mocktail!

First time visiting Antico and I'm not sure I'll be rushing back. Food was lovely and brought in good time but it was quite expensive for what you got. Drinks were very small and again overpriced in my opinion. Music was very loud (fine, it's a weekend and maybe I'm old!) But it meant I struggled to hear my partner or the wait staff. Asked for the bill and it was forgotten about. Overall it was fine.

My wife and I ate there when staying in the hotel one night. The restuarant has lovey views of the bridges, however the music was very loud and we asked to be moved due a speaker above us , the request to move was dealt with no problem. We both had starters and they were both good. We both ordered fillet steaks at £38 each. They were truly appalling, cannot describe accurately the lump of fatty misshapen piece of meat that was put in front of us. One was completely inedible, the other was less then 50 % eaten when it was obvious there was nothing left to cut away from the grizzle. The staff were very good and overered us new meals, which we declined. The cost of the steaks was not added to our bill. There is no way these steaks should have left the kitchen to be put in front of a customer. We did receive a call the next day from the manager to discuss our experience. We then received an email offering free meals , this is a nice gesture, however the name on the email was not ours and we therefore have rejected a return visit. This was not a good experience.

Food was really disappointing - took so long to get both starters and mains; beef meals were inedible (5 year old’s burger was solid hard; main meal of beef was congealed and burnt), even the fish a chips was only half edible as half was so hard you couldn’t cut. Very disappointing for a family Christmas meal

First time at orocco peir. Busy wee place. Waitresses lovely. Nice views. Drinks lovely , starter lovely. I had brushetta, really nice and good portion size. I had a steak, not cheap at £32. It was swimming in what looked like grease, apparently garlic butter. The steak was surrounded by fat. I cut it all off and left with a tiny piece of steak. I said to the waitresses I didn't like it and she called the manager over who was completely patronising who said 'that is what a rib-eye is supposed to be like, it's marbling and it was just the garlic butter that was on it that gave it that effect' . I'm sorry. I have had many steaks, and this had not even rested before it was brought out. I was really disappointed in the way the manager spoke to me and basically made me feel as though I was making a big deal over nothing. My sister in law had mussles. Again, lovely , however, the bowl her lemon was in had no water for her fingers. Her chicken ceaser salad had breaded chicken instead of grilled chicken. She ate the salad and left the chicken. I was really disappointed in the lack of concern that our meal was not nice and how we left disappointed and still hungry but still paid our bill in full.

My daughter and I called in today for a snack lunch. We ordered 2 small plates of nachos and 2 soft drinks, total bill £33! The nachos were strange, they seemed deep fried, quite greasy, with what looked like runny cream on top! We had just walked 6 miles from Blackness so feeling hungry, enjoying the amazing view and with a very attentive and nice waitress we decided to eat up anyway. Mistake…very quickly we both felt pretty ill, I’ll spare you the details but it was a grim walk back to our car! Next time we will picnic and enjoy the view from the benches on the main Street!

Qui ho mangiato il peggior Fish & Chips della mia vita: completamente pieno di olio, quindi indigesto, e con le patate mollicce e insapore. Il piatto era ustionante quindi hanno buttato tutto nel microonde per riscaldare con il risultato che appunto le patate sono diventate di una consistenza assurda e anche la salsa tartara era calda! L'hamburger di Aberdeen Angus era più buono ma non era speciale nemmeno quello. Non consiglierei a nessuno questo ristorante.

We visited Queensferry last week, whilst on holiday in Edinburgh. Pretty quaint village. Walked into Antico for a drink & snack on the first day… beautiful view & nice ambiance. We decided to visit again for lunch & did a few days later. We had the sweet potato soup of the day & a helping of Nachos. Very wholesome soup, tasty & delicious. The nachos with avocado & cheese dressing, topped with pulled pork, was very good. A must visit if you visit this lovely village. Good service with warm & efficient staff.

What a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional. Generous portions, delicious fresh ingredients - all 6 meals were truly worth reviewing. Cocktails were good too. This paired with a stunning view and excellent service just added up to a brilliant night. Highly recommend

We recently ate here following a recommendation from family friends. Staff were friendly and attentive and the food was tasty with plenty of variety. The view was stunning which added to the atmosphere, though on the whole is on the pricier side.

The best thing about this restaurant is definitely the view which is amazing. It’s a shame the food doesn’t quite match that. My partner had the chicken burger and the burger was very good. It came with chips which were ok and a tiny portion of coleslaw. I had vegetable curry and the sauce and vegetables were tasty, however I paid extra to add chicken tikka which turned out to be a flat, overcooked chewy fillet. At nearly £23 quite pricey for a curry. For dessert I ordered cheesecake which sounded delicious. I was really disappointed when the waitress returned to tell me there was none left. I know sometimes restaurants do run out of things but this was 6.30pm on a Saturday night. The waitress was really apologetic but there was nothing else on the dessert menu I really wanted so we left a bit disappointed.

Wonderful Location, Staff were so wonderful, five of us had dinner here, starters and main courses, with wine and beers, it was all very very good, tasty haggis bon bons, and the soft shell tacos with pulled pork and avocodo was so tasty, and the mussels looked incredible too as did all the dishes, lovely happy vibrant place in a stunning location, Excellent and thanks again to all the staff !
