Excellent Japanese food!
We had the 8 course tasting menu. It offers a variety of choices which we took advantage of.
The 8 courses for under 25 UK sterling pounds was a BARGAIN.
It's just a 15 minute walk from Grassmarket Square.
Great value. Great food. Great service.
Totally bad service. The employees seem indifferent and barely answer when you ask questions. Their hookah didn't taste like anything. Even a star is too much for them.
We stopped at this pub just downstairs from our hotel room upon arrival, and were able to get a table for a bite to eat. The staff was very friendly, the food very good (even though we only had a starter, the chicken was a treat), good drinks, and good music playing. Sports fans will be in their element at this pub.
A great experience, highly recommended, in Edinburgh's New Town.
Had my first time here today for a wedding; food and staff were so accommodating. An extra thanks goes out to bartender Alex who made sure I had a quiet space to take my family member who is disabled and needs quiet; we felt so looked after and that hospitality went such a long way. We're really grateful, staff are amazing!
As a customer, my husband and I went there for dinner. It was a Saturday, so perhaps that’s why the restaurant was quite busy. Just as we were about to enter, we received a warm welcome, which we really appreciated. The food was fresh, flavourful, and offered in a wide variety, catering to both traditional and modern tastes. The service was impressive-staff were polite, attentive, and quick to respond to any request, which made the overall dining experience even more enjoyable. We enjoyed a variety of dishes all under one roof. Then we moved on to the dessert section, The dessert section was a highlight, offering a tempting range of cakes that were rich in flavour and beautifuly displayed, along with different flavors of ice cream, which we thoroughly enjoyed and making it a fun and tasty way to end the meal. If you’re nearby, please don’t forget to visit at least once. So, there’s no need to go elsewhere—for all kinds of food under one roof, it’s “Mr. Basrai’s World Cuisines”.
Buzzing place, busy & lively with good food served by excellent staff. We were seated in a cosy booth inside, it was packed outside on a sunny afternoon but we were happy to go inside. Burger deal of the month was excellently value, juicy & tasty & cooked well, superfood salad was delicious & very generous, had to ask for a doggy bag. Apertivo spritz £6 what’s not to like.
