Istanbul Takeaway in Edinburgh, City of

Ordered the Istanbul special no 3, which is basically a mixed grill on top of a margarita pizza, with stir fried vegetables and a cheese burger and fries. The food was very reasonably priced and delicious. The staff are friendly and efficient. Very good service and very good value for money. Definitely reccomended.

Cash only is the problem, food is great

Now guys basically pay your rent and probably light bill with the amount I order. BUT that’s 3 time in a row you have not given us our cans of juice. Even the munchies box didn’t come with the juice as stated. The only way we can make this go away is give me extra chicken on my chicken kebabs or your gonna have to find someone else to pay your rent .. 😂😂 I do love the chicken kebabs 🧡 If I find something I like I eat it for dinner most nights.. I hate that for me .

This place closes at the exact time that everyone wants a kabab; midnight on a Saturday. For some strange reason they leave the door open so you walk in and ask for a kabab and they say "sorry mate we're closed".

Tonight I was delivered a large chicken kebab when I asked for a shashlik kebab which also cost more than the chicken kebab!!!! No message to say why this was and also the chips were cold . First I’ve had to put a review like this up!

I did not receive the order and it claims to be delivered. Received no contact from the restaurant on this and they aren’t answering. Ordered at 10:45pm and received confirmation that they have received the order so it was accepted by someone. Restaurant doesn’t close till 11:15pm. I would have been fine if it was cancelled but it’s the fact I won’t receive my money back because it was apparently delivered when it was not.

I asked for NO onions on the salad or kebab. Sadly, the salad came loaded with onions. Not happy at all as I had to pick them all out. And the rest of the salad was tainted by the taste.

Best kebab in Edinburgh. I got a chicken kebab and the chicken cooked nice and juicy and the salad is just amazing!!! Service you do not wait long at all and the staff are so nice great chat....

First off, someone answered the phone immediately in comparison to other local restaurants.Communication was clear, polite, and professional.ordered the Spicy Chicken Pizza and I like the sauce they used and the crust was nice. I will definitely order from this Place Again.

This was my second visit and the mixed kebab has been delicious both times. Lovely staff and some extra chips added instead of a pita,would highly recommend and will be back

The best pizza I’ve had in a long time. Both my husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. The bases are thin and beautifully cooked, so it wasn’t dense and too much like almost every other pizza place. Topping choice is fantastic as is the price. It also arrived 30 minutes before the stated time. We won’t be ordering from anywhere else for a while.

I got the Istanbul special kebab 1, which lists kofte, shish, donner, with fried veg on top. Came in a huge box, but the box was half full of CHIPS which were not listed on the menu. A few tiny bits of shish and kofte, and a bit of donner meat. I think they are reducing meat and packing it out with chips. Not great for £16.50

Meat was tough chewy full of fat pitta bread fell apart with big hole in in called to report and was told to call back tomorrow. Didn't understand what I was saying about the meat.

Very little toppings on my pizza very disappointing as didn’t have much flavours at all. We order from here alot and never have a problem. Followed instructions on comments which is always good and arrived just before the estimate. Everything was good apart from the pizza, very plain shame as I normally enjoy

Took over an hour to arrive, donner meat was cold and hard and tasted sweaty like it had sat for ages and I ordered a can of irn bru and they sent a 59p Barr cola , not ideal but the pizza was lovely

Restaurant blamed my nationality for complaint when I called up ask if they sent wrong order. Ordered meat feast special kebab but got a whole lot of cheap vegetables and chips including mushrooms which wifey hates instead which isnt on menu. 1 hour delivery at 9pm on a Monday, how long when they're actually busy? Food was lukewarm. Hope they learn to treat their customers better, wont order again.

Food here is always exceptional however it arrived cold. As the JustEat alert told me the driver was on the way, 23 mins later (from 3 min drive away), the food arrived. It had been delivered, initially, to the wrong address (a friends house nearby, who’d messaged me). The driver had basically lied. Not the restaurants fault but the JustEat driver, so will not use JustEat again

Usually food is amazing out here order all the time chips were lovely tho the Doner was cold and forgot my drink but I understand how busy U guys get
