Food was awful the night before leftovers

Food was nice. I had a lamb kebab. Was nice and fresh. . I enjoyed it

Was terrible first order was picked up and wrong then I phoned and they sent another order out witch was also not what I ordered,will never order from here again paid £10 for crappie that went to the dog,was ment to be a king chicken kebab with nan bread salad and this is what I was given

Absolutely disgusting! Sent my children in to pick up a sausage supper….looks like they keep their food from day before. Called them to complain and the “manager” as he called himself said he’s never had a complaint before and mine was the first! Ha!! I should have checked the reviews. He had the nerve to say “what are you going to do about it!” I mean is he feeling ok saying that to a Scot! Start by giving the place to someone who can actually provide edible food! I think hygiene standards should pay these people a visit. See what “they will do about it!”

If you wanna be happy, you should try this cuisine.

Staff here have made a habit of deliberately & continually misunderstanding orders to shift left-over food onto customers at the end of the night. As a regular visitor I don't appreciate footing the bill for extra chips/sausages & will now be taking my custom elsewhere.

Great food & staff, really friendly. Food came fast , tasty & piping hot! Kebabs are mahooosive & delicious;-) Will come back for sure.

Possibly one of the best fish suppers I’ve had this year, everything was cooked to perfection. It was very fresh, hot and amazing. It’s proper chippy chips!! Hard to find in Edinburgh now. I’ll happily put them forward for any award. If your in town or thinking of a move to a proper chippy, I live by the shore and have lots of options, but iilan and his team are now my first choice. Well done 👍

Really poor food. Had a fish supper. Both fish and chips were served up in seconds and of course when I got them home they were luke warm and soggy. Also drenched in thick gravy-like "vinegar". It was the only thing I could taste. Best avoid this place...

Tasty donner wrap and chips. Large portions too. Just added salt and vinegar on the chips. Didn't need to add any other sauce on any of the food - it was all very good! Love this chippy 😍

Amazing baked potatoes. They're always huge and generously filled 😍 I recommend the egg mayo.

I ordered a large chips with garlic mayo. It was pretty flavourless. If they want to improve it then add some more salt

We stopped in for a quick bite on a night out, we got tasty food with generous portions, i wasn't sure we'd manage it all but we did. We decided to stand at a small bar area to eat our food and at the end they offered to take our rubbish which was a nice touch I wasn't expecting. The staff were friendly not just with us but everyone else who came in while we ate.

Wow what can I say....this is the best place I have found yet and it's not local as my locals are not very good.....the kebab was absolutely perfect and the presentation was brilliant.... prices are really good too

Not recommended.. we've had fish and chips , the chips were ok, but the fish tasted nothing like fish , more like an old oil.. the portion was big but not tasty :(

An amazing find for us whilst staying in nearby Dalry Gait. Staff were friendly, food was great so much so that I went twice. Also my niece dropped her purse in the shop, which they kept for us to collect the next day. Honest, lovely people & I will visit next time we’re in Edinburgh. Thank you!

Absolutely rotten, would not recomend. Just bought fish and chips for tea as staying in Dalry. Fish was not fresh or even freshly cooked. Binned, will not use again.

I like lamb shish kebab from halikarnas but this one is too chewy .. waste of money had one piece after that straight to the bin. I can’t even give this one star. Yuk!

Just ordered a pizza and a Donner kebab, the kebab was cold after a 5 minute walk home, the pizza was undercooked, doughy and the cheese hardly melted

We got a small fish and chips and threw it away after a couple of bites. The fish is most likely bought in frozen and ready to be heated up. If I was to hazard a guess Iceland. Chips weren't cooked well or even enough. £6.50 for a small is a fine price but if you charged us on what we ate. Maybe like £1.00. Don't do it to yourself people they don't appreciate your business.

What a place. They catered to my specific requirements and then speeded upto get me put the door when i had to catch a train what a fryer and flexible team.

Been a regular at this chippy for nearly 2 years now as I stay just a few streets away. But after the way I was treated tonight I will never step foot in the place. Walked in and normally I'm greeted with a " hello mate how are you " from the owner. Instead I was pointed at by 1 of the female workers and shouted at " what " 1. You work in a customer service role. 2. I'm a regular. When I explained thats not how you greet customers all I got back was " aye no bother" and proceeded to serve someone else. You have just lost a decent customer. Quite happy to try other places.

Must be good food as I found the empty wrapper in my hotel room bin. Clean bright and tidy shop

I phoned and made an oder at 22.19 and at 22.52 they phoned saying that it will be 20 mines and at 00.11 still waiting qill not be going back here waited 2 hours for food wow

We are big fans of Turkish Kebab. Unfortunately our favorite place Verdo is closed, so we tried something new. Food was average and so won't be ordering from them again. Cubed chicken kebabs aren't actually cubed and I wasn't sure if even white meat was used. Pizza bread beneath the kebabs was ok. Left me with heartburn and indigestion though!

Some in our party had an urge to have Lamb shish Kebabs, others fish and chips and from a search in Google we chose this place. It is clean, the guys here worked hard to make sure those waiting were being served quickly and the food was cooked fresh, not expensive and didn't disappoint.

I like that they cook the fish fresh for you.

Absolutely disgusting. I feel sick to my stomach 😓….. The chips and cheese was thick grease and the chicken nuggets was soggy and hard at the same time with a few that looked as if they’d been on the floor. I’ve never had such a bad takeaway, I will not be ordering from here again and I would not advise people to order from here either. I know I won’t get a refund so I’m not going to bother with the hassle and instead be honest on here.

Food was OK, service was good only problem was fighting in shop, the wee lass working looked terrified after the boss flung food at her lol other than that would recommend, maybe just get a delivery though

Ordered at 19.40, food arrived at 23.35. Staff slammed phone down when we called to ask when food was coming, estimated delivery times on JustEat inaccurate (promised 21.00 then 22.00). JustEat advised asking restaurant for a refund, Marmaris staff blamed JustEat, slamming phone down again.

one of our friends suggested here last week, so we ordered mushroom pizza. It was delicious and tasty. The delivery was fast and the delivery man was polite. I would recommend it to the others.

This place is near to my husband’s office, went two days ago and got the vegetarian pasta! Loved the flavour could tell they used fresh veggies and not the frozen stuff everyone uses. Highly recommend

Great location near Haymarket. Very clean and well organized shop with lots of selection. The guy behind the counter was a little crusty and rude, but the rest of the staff were great. The food was superb! I had a mini donner calzone for 5GBP - the perfect hangover cure after a day/night of drinking! Lots of meat, sauce and cheese, absolutely melt in your mouth! My new go to spot after a night at the pubs in Haymarket!!

Decent food, yet every experience I have of coming into the shop and ordered with the rude boss has been horrid. Keep him hidden and let your nicer staff members serve customers. He's not doing the business any favours by being at the till.

Ordered for delivery the other night. is well and fairly priced for what you get. One thing that I like is that you can get various sizes of pizzas to compliment another order in a range of sizes starting at I believe £5. I ordered Cheese & Tomato, 10" 5.00 Shashlik Chicken Shish Kebab 8.00 Both were lovely. The Kabab was a shot in the dark as I have not tried this one before, It was divine Well cooked and handsome with quantity. I will defo order again.

me and some of my friends were going out for the night and went to a park in Edinburgh , we were hungry and some one has told us about this place at some time in the past. so we gave it a go and ordered from this place. first of all , the food arrived on time and it was really in good shape and it was hot. after it arrived. we started eating and after the first bite ....... we were like animals , eating like savages :D . it was so delicious and the spice was perfectly balanced, it made our night. i highly recommend this takeaway shop and really recommend some of the traditional kebabs they serve.

Great food and great people, just came in from overseas and they were so nice and gave us a lot of helpful tips! I had the Lamb Donor and it was amazing! Was convinced to try the Haggis and I good just not my cup of tea! I will definitely be back before I leave!

Ordered food on Saturday night, waited an hour and a half and the food was cold, phoned and complained, was offered the same order on a different night for free, ordered tonight Tuesday 19th Feb, also added to my previous order, waited an hour, food cold again, made the mistake to call again, spoke to Jodi who was apologetic, a few minutes later my phone rings, guy from the shop starts shouting and giving me dogs abuse for having the audacity to complain again, well i can honestly say i wont be getting food from there again,

Reported to trading standards for trying to charge a card fee. They’re now illegal in the UK and they became quite aggressive when questioned on this. They said they don’t care what the law says and it’s unfair. I suggest they joint the 21st century. They compared the card fee to the service fee from just eat. They don’t seem to understand that just eat actually provide a service for that fee whilst a card fee is a fee for merely trying to pay with a card.

After placing an order on just eat it arrived an hour and 20 minutes late and when I phoned today for a refund I was greeted with a barrage of extremely aggressive abuse for leaving a negative review stating my issues with receiving cold greasy soggy food which I wouldn't feed to my dog. Avoid this place at all costs and take your money elsewhere. Disgusting service from start to finish

Ordered a half pizza and fish super it came after 45mins wait for it to be cold sent the pizza back new one came never had sauce one it normally with single they give u some chips well did with 1st one not with second one

I regularly get a fish supper or kebab from this great little place. The ladies that take the delivery calls are really friendly and helpful, the delivery is fast and the food is great quality (especially for such reasonable prices).

Tasty food, never too greasy and good portions. Good deals and fair prices. It's a take away restaurant and have nice varieties. Very friendly staff.

Ordered from here on just eat delivery time was meant to be at 3.50 but my food never showed up until 5.40.. when it came food was cold had to heat it up and My order was wrong I ordered a quarter pound cheese burger but got a plain hamburger...

After a recent fire the premises have been refurbished. Everything looks bright and very clean. The food is tasty and you get a decent amount for your money. Our favourite is the mixed kebab, which comes in a large foil tray, a selection of meats, salads, dips and pitta breads. Costs just under £10 but will feed 2/3 people.
