Staff very nice one dish chicken combo was good but the dish to small for the amount of food not pleasant to the eye . Second dish was mix combo which chicken very nice but the steak was tuff and when u lifted the chicken tbe rest of the meal look like a nass of slopes dish was to small Drinks that was ordered never came to table at the same time Mangr ir owner needs to have a good read at the review and mske amends with all the complaints and tell his chef to make food more presentable on plates and bigger plates tgat looks good to the eye

A friendly welcome at the door, lovely coffee and MASSIVE scones (cheese or fruit). Really couldn't fault this little cafe and are looking forward to going back. Though we didn't try them, there were breakfasts, soups, cakes and more on offer. And the plant centre had amazing trees, shrubs and flowering plants that we really enjoyed browsing around. A proper nursery with muddy paths, hosepipes lying around, and staff who know things, not a garden centre full of tat!

Requested one extra hot latte and one cappuccino coffee, however, the extra hot came only warm. We also both ordered a club sandwich - two slice of bread with a few cubes of chicken and a slice of tomato - this is not what I recognise as a club sandwich. Service was good.

Exceptional chip shop in the centre of Gullane that also offers pizzas and kebabs. We had fish and chips on our first night, they were to die for. All freshly cooked to order and very well priced. We also had pizza and calzone on another visit Again all freshly made and served by very friendly staff. Highly recommend.

Ate here whilst staying the night. The menu was ok but would have liked to see some more regional dishes like Cullen Skink and Haggis. I had the haddock and chips and sticky toffee pudding for desert. It was all fine although the plate for the main was very small and there was too much coleslaw for my liking. The pudding was also supposed to come with cream or ice cream and they never asked me which I wanted. It came with neither, just lots of glacé cherries for some reason!!

Great food and staff, was sceptical after seeing recent low reviews but I was very pleased with my chicken curry take away!

I work in Musselburgh so I often go to costa for coffee. Went today after work the guy who served me was vile. So rude and could tell me ordering a coffee was a problem for him. Always found female staff lovely. He has put me off going back.

Parking a problem. Getting a coffee takes at least 20 mins. One person doing the drinks and serving to tables at times does not help. Timing needs to improve.

One of the worst chinese takeaway meals ever had from here! It had got better but we won't be back. * 3 beans sprouts, a few bits of chicken in dry cut up noodles with 2 bits of onion doesn't make chow mein! Stodgey rice barely warm. 😫

Rubbish, lied on the phone, delivered not what I asked for, phoned them back and girl who answered very rude, eat elsewhere

Just one question, why do you have a picture of a gollywog on the wall of your bar/restaurant? And please don't say it's vintage like the rest of your niknaks - that image is racist and it always has been. I'd love confirmation that you are removing it. Your place is packed with vintage posters and items, do you believe that racist image of a gollywog is necessary and adding to the aesthetics? Please respond below thanks.

Great food , loved the Pizza, fish & chips are cooked perfect. Food was ready when they say and Great friendly service

Stayed overnight for wedding at Whitekirk but had a meal before , very tasty and service was great room was clean and tidy just perfect for a place to lay your head , had the corner room so it was a bit neat to get in but that didn’t spoil my stay breakfast was lovely and all staff very welcoming especially the young boy maybe one day now I’ll get a bus and come back for pudding
