One of the worst chinese takeaway meals ever had from here! It had got better but we won't be back. * 3 beans sprouts, a few bits of chicken in dry cut up noodles with 2 bits of onion doesn't make chow mein! Stodgey rice barely warm. 😫

Ordered for four of us all different meals. Was delivered promptly within half an hour. We all said one of the best Chinese takeaways we have had for a long while with large portions . Will be our first choice in Dunbar.

Excellent food lovely welcoming service One of the best Chinese takeaways we’ve ever had. My partner ordered the special curry with some fried rice and it was perfect. I ordered the Thai red curry and it was beautiful

I phoned in advance to ask about g/f options and was told two of the sauces with the ribs would be fine. On making the order, they rechecked the allergen chart to discover the ribs themselves were not g/f! (presume pre-prepped in marinade or similar, sure was g/f when they left the pig!). However, points gained for diverting a dodgy stomach...I chose the Ch&Swcorn soup instead which was ok and the same as any other I've ever had! To the main - Chilli and Garlic Chicken. I say chicken - more like

Quite impressed with this Chinese carry-out. Lovely chicken Maryland, good chips. Mixed satay and sweet & sour chicken also good. Free prawn crackers were fab. Free spring rolls a bit doughy but not a problem as they were free anyway!

Chips are soggy and under cooked. Blackbean sauce is like water. During the week whoever answers the phone can't speak english then at the weekend whoever is on the phone is rude and puts you on hold, and gets the orders wrong. Also the past few weeks.. the company have said their chip and pin machine is not working? In this day and age with corona.. Cashless society.. I don't handle cash. Anyway after telling them I don't have cash.. They accept card. Now they are refusing card payments full stop! Why?

While staying in Dunbar we got a takeaway from Oriental Inn. It was early Saturday evening and they were very busy - a good sign. They are cash-only so after a quick dash across the road to the McColl's ATM (broken) and then down the High Street to Bank of Scotland I placed my order with one of the two friendly, efficient ladies and waited outside with six other customers. Ten minutes later and I was handed my bag of goodies to take back to the family. We tucked into a giant bag of prawn crackers, tasty bbq spare ribs, some delicious sweet and sour chicken and a rich roast pork in black bean sauce. My only criticism would be the mini spring rolls for starter that had very little filling so were quite dry, but the tiny tubs of sweet chilli sauce were welcome. Overall a really nice meal with friendly, fast and accurate service. Good value too.

My husband is celiac and I asked for a gluten free dish. I was advised that they did a chop suet that would be fine. I ordered king prawn chop suet. To my husband delight (very unusual) the dish was stunning and no reaction. This is worthy of celebration in my house. Thank you so much you made a nice evening great.

Wouldn’t feed the black bean sauce dishes or the crispy beef to my dog. Crispy beef was cremated.. sent the first one back and the second one came exactly the same :). Just a terrible Chinese, IMO and won’t be back. Rather have a tin of spam.

This is the best Chinese in Dunbar the prices are good and the food portions are big you get lots of meat in your meals and if you like spare ribs you get plenty the only down side is that they don't accept cards

We usually get a takeaway from here when we visit my mum in Dunbar. Her household is a frequent customer too. Always great service, quick delivery, fresh food, a huge menu and always - without any exception - fantastic meals. Highly recommend.

Awesome sauces, crispy beef was crispy, rice had big chunks of chicken, veg chow mein had lots of crispy vegetables. Probably the best we've had in Scotland.

Quite possibly the worst meal I've had the displeasure of tasting. Slimy, tasteless and utterly disgusting. Shameful . Do not order from here no matter how hungover you are.

Oh dear! We went to mum's and she suggested staying for tea. We ordered a takeaway from Oriental Inn. What we got was probably one of the worst meals we've eaten in a long time and, to be frank, the whole lot went in the bin. Sugary, glutinous, just unpleasant for £37.45, I feel my mum was served very poorly. There is nothing I can say that's good about our meal. We won't be back.

My son bought this deep fried beef dish. I took it back to say it wasn’t fit for human consumption and would like a full refund to be shouted at and asked to leave the shop. The lettuce was off and the beef wasn’t any better also dish looked as dry as an Arabs sandle . I Wouldn’t give this to a dog definitely won’t be back. (Food still under scientific review) lol

I love the food here, the prices are a bit expensive however it’s definitely worth it as a treat in my opinion. I love the chicken skewers, the rice and curry sauce, the chicken chow mein was also pretty good. The staff are okay, not overly friendly which i enjoy I’m not too keen on waiters putting on a full performance to possibly get a tip, staff in here just do their jobs, love that. Overall it’s a pretty casual atmosphere with options to sit in or takeaway, or for delivery. However it is closed Monday and Tuesday, but open every other day from 5-10pm however 9pm cut off time for sitting in. Street parking is available however it may be difficult during busier/tourist periods. Pets not welcome.

Bought lemon chicken and boiled rice but had to throw it away when I got home. The rice was hard and tasted ‘old’ like it was cooked yesterday. Half the chicken was ok but the rest had a strange taste and I didn’t want to risk food poisoning. There was also very little sauce. What a shame as I have visited this takeaway quite a few times over the years but I’m wondering if it’s changed hands? I phoned to let them know about the food and got no joy. Sadly I’ll not be driving the 20 mins to return and waste money on unpalatable food.

We had a very relaxed meal, it wasnt busy sitting in, only us on a Tuesday night. Food was good and quick service. Toilets were a bit of a trek for my brother who has a disability.

Delivery was a bit late, ok I’ll phone- got message they are closed, turns out it’s an old ansaphone message . Food delivered ten minutes late - that’s ok, however the lemon chicken had no lemon and was tough as old boots, inedible. Nicely offered free lemon chicken next time- not really what I would prefer as I am visiting friends. Overall a fairly average meal. With confusing menu as regarding sauces. Sorry- but can’t recommend
