Superb food - couldn’t fault - if rather expensive! However, only one available red wine by the glass - apparently hotel closing for season - so this was the reason - never heard of this before? Is the establishment under new management - be interested to know as returning customer - to be honest not much of an experience as used to be when host was friendly, welcoming and really good service - current one is not !!! Unfortunately will not be returning - better options in the highlands.
Fantastic 60th birthday tea for my husband with family and friends today. 30 adults and 2 toddlers for Sunday tea. Could not fault anything. The service was great and the staff serving us could not do enough for us. We had chosen our food before we came which of course speeded everything up but this was well worth it. The food was piping hot, and even with so many of us we were never kept waiting. They could not do enough to make sure we all had what we needed including the children.
Food was very tasty and plentiful. Not one complaint from any of us - apart from those who had not ordered a pudding and they seen all the fantastic puddings being brought out. They still managed to provide a few extras for those who could not resist and changed their minds at the last minute.
Thank you all for making this such a special day and I can’t wait to comeback. This was the first visit for a few of the party but certainly won’t be the last.
What a lovely little place. Bit of a drive to get there but was lovely. Friendly service. We had panini and delicious soup and sat outside with our wee dog. Lovely selection of cakes too
We visited the Quiach for dinner with our dog when staying at a local caravan park.
The Quiach had a really warm, welcoming atmosphere for us & the dog who was greeted with pats, treats & water. Service was really exceptional.
Menu was basic, a few of the small plates were sold out but the food we did have (fish & chips with a side of onion rings) was really good - well presented, big portions, well cooked and tasty.
Would recommend.
Amazing friendly place, just visited first time after moving to the area. Really can’t fault anything friendly staff excellent food good quality. We will be back

On holiday, so had to try the local curry house. Excellent value for money. Need to relocate The Gurkhas to the South Coast! Will certainly be back, next time we visit
I love supporting local businesses but the last few times I've visited have been very disappointing. Very overpriced (£5.05 for a hot chocolate with cream) especially as the quality is not of a high standard. Everything is underwhelming. I contacted the owners about price versus quality but heard nothing back so I am posting here instead.
I wanted to take my Husband to the cafe to experience the lovely food. Alas, we were turned away at the door by a man who shouted “ no tables for half an hour!”
There was a couple with a dog who went in before us and were turned away too.
They walked off and we went back to our car and drove away. There were 5 cars parked in the car park.
Terrible way to treat potential customers . We won’t be returning.
We went into Perth and had a lovely lunch at the Black watch museum and cafe. Highly recommend.
My wife and I stopped into the Breadalbane Bakery for lunch and enjoyed a fantastic meal. The Chicken and Mushroom pie was to die for, followed by several outstanding pastries. There is a small dining area attached to the bakery which was clean and comfortable. A true hidden gem. If you are visiting Aberfeldy, I strongly recommend stop in for lunch, or to satisfy your sweet tooth. Overall, a great light meal and great value for you money.
Stopped off at the outside seating for lunch. The ham and cheese ultimate toastie with the chilli jam was excellent served with crisps and side salad. Egg mayonnaise sandwich was equally good. Good sized cappuccino coffees.
Delighted to have an excellent light lunch here. Very warm welcome and all the staff so helpful. Service was fast and the food delicious, warmed ciabatta sandwiches followed by tasty carrot cake and very good decaffeinated coffee. So pleased to see this reopened under new management who really are doing a wonderful job. Wishing the team all the best for the 2025 season.
My friend and I decided to go and test out the chocolates and what an experience! The tour was very interesting, and the tasting was informative and delicious. We stayed afterwards for a hot chocolate and a slice of cake which was also delicious! All the staff were attentive and welcoming, especially Kayla who was charming, helpful and there when we needed anything. I highly recommend this experience.
