I booked a table here to execute a surprise family reunion. The staff were excellent and were instrumental in the surprise. The food was perfect. The portions were huge and cooked to perfection. Would highly recommended 10/10 for everything

Supposed to be dog friendly. We booked a table, arrived on time but we’re told that there was no table available in the dog friendly area! There were no other dogs in the restaurant. But all the tables in the dog friendly area were occupied. So beware, if you’re booking a table in advance, tell them you’ve got a dog. That information should be available on their Facebook, unfortunately we had a wasted trip, but a lovely lunch in the Cherrybank Inn.

Was taken here today for my birthday by my partner. My first visit. Stunning interior. We got seated to the room on left by window. The menu was good. The staff we encountered from start to finish went above and beyond. We got so caught up in the place I forgot to take pictures of the starters (oops). I had Haggis Fritters. 2 large patties of Haggis in a light crispy batter. Came with a lovely salad and sweet chilli sauce. The dish was lovely. Partner had Mozzarella sticks. She enjoyed. The mains. I had the usual, Battered Fish, I chose the chips with salad and coleslaw. Fish was substantial with plenty chips and the salad and coleslaw. Salad had a mustard dressing which was lovely. Fish was fresh, white and vibrant. Batter crispy with great taste. Partner had the chicken pie main with chips, peas and carrots. Looked lovely, I tried some sauce from the pie. Beautiful taste. And she thoroughly enjoyed it. No room for pudding. I had two ciders, with partner having two tins coke. Bill was £53. I think good value. I’ll be taking my mother for lunch. 10/10

Having been recommended by friends shouldn’t have left it so long. Lovely restaurant with very polite staff. Menu although not huge plenty to choose from. Have a small portions section but still very large and all tasty. Worth visit and enjoy.

Been here a few times went with a large group so food pre ordered. Service is good but meals arrived at different time depending on order, our food arrive after a few friends had already finished as we told them not to let their food get cold. I had fish and chips, both slightly soggy, friend who had finished tried my chips and said they weren't as good as his. Good value for money but not for a large group.

Delighted to have found those place!! Clean cosy contemporary setting fantastic staff and lovely food. The lunch menu is a fantastic idea for a smaller portion allowing space for a starter or pudding. A joy and a hidden gem, donr be fooled by the outside

Another amazing Lunch at The Village Inn. There were 13 family members. We had a selection of starters, mains and sweets. Everyone raved about their food, some of us are regulars and some were first timers, but vowed to return and tell friends about the amazing food and service. First class as always…..great big thanks to Leanne, Paul and staff.

This is the first time I’ve been to the village inn. What a lovely place. Great selection of food at very reasonable prices and very generous portions. We were served by a lovely young man who couldn’t be more helpful. I’ll definitely be back. This is a hidden gem in Bridge of Earn

Went in by chance we would get a table and we did, although it was busy. Opted for the smaller portions which were ample. Very tasty steak pie and Scampi. Fresh and flavoursome. Not over expensive either. The restaurant is well spaced out, clean and well lit. The staff are very friendly and professional Would recommend and will be back.

Have to put this review up, this was our first time at the Village Inn, we were here for lunch for our son's birthday, the food was absolutely amazing, the quantity was fantastic, atmosphere was lovely,and staff were very pleasant and worked hard, will be back and would highly recommend to anyone wanting to eat out, many thanks from the Doig Family.

Bridge of Earn is blessed with this place. We had a large group & they were really helpful with the booking & organising, & everything was smooth & straightforward. The food was really good (be ready for the v generous size of the portions); the staff were really helpful & pleasant; & the loos are spotless. Highly recommended.

Fantastic food as always and great service I the restaurant, was planning to meet up with another 2 x couples to celebrate our Ruby wedding in the bar but was really disappointed when I was told that they did not have a table to accommodate 6 people. We had to go to another hostelry and then return for our booking. Could not fault the service in the restaurant or the quality of the food.

We meet for lunch about once a month. We usually have non alcoholic beer, a main and a dessert followed by coffee. At The Village Inn, we could not manage dessert as the mains (fish and chips / steak pie) were so big. Next time it’ll be the lunch size mains … and room for pudding.

Came back once again, as food and service is always very good me and my fiancee enjoyed our starter I had the breaded mushrooms and salad and kevhad haggis fritters both plates were delicious then I had the roast beef and all the trimmings was delicious kev had the steak pie ,trimmings was very good i then ordered the delicious cheesecake 😋 but took it home to eat as I was so full ,lol, but great dinner ,great polite service and always a very warm welcome, we will be back soon Elaine and kev Perth

I was collecting my daughter from school and I had time to kill so I thought I would explore the neighbouring villages hoping to get a coffee somewhere. I stumbled on this and as it was lunchtime decided to treat myself. The decor is in keeping with the age of the building but it is not dated, spotless and very welcoming. It looks as though it was purposely designed that way and not just a mish mash collected over the years! The staff were great , from the initial greeting to the final bill. Warm, friendly, efficient-service spot on. I mean this as a compliment but you would not know they were around- and yet they were. I hate the obsequiousness you sometimes get with people hovering around. I know it is meant to be attention to detail but it just makes me uncomfortable. The food is not fancy but they obviously know what works for them and what they are good at. That scores highly with me. The menu may not be extensive but there is something for everyone. The food came thoughtfully presented, by that I mean it was actually placed and not just a case of filling an empty space. It was piping hot and most importantly it tasted good. My only regret is that I did not have the space for a dessert and they looked tasty. I had broccoli and stilton soup and haddock and chips but I saw some tables with steak pie and macaroni cheese and all looked delicious - I saw lots of empty plates. To end it all I got two lovely mints with my bill which I may say was very reasonable. All in all what's not to like. If you are in this neck of the woods I would heartily recommend a special trip to The Village Inn. As Arnie famously said " I'll be back".

I came in yesterday with my children. We were served by a lovely young girl with brown hair who was grinning the entire time she served us. You could tell she was nervous serving but she had no reason to be - she did brilliantly! While eating I noticed that all staff seemed to have big grins on their face while walking around - including two young blonde girls and a young man. You could clearly see that they enjoy working with each other and enjoy their jobs! Obviously a team - I would even go as far as to say a FAMILY!

Visited the Inn at 12.30 for lunch with friends. Not very busy on arrival and no one arrived during our visit. Gluten free menu had no light lunch options ie sandwiches and the waitress advised that they had no gluten free bread. I opted for the salad bowl which came with chips however that option was quickly taken away as the chips were NOT gluten free!!! Had the tomato and herb soup which was very heavily seasoned with herbs and couldn't taste the tomato. Very disappointed and won't be back. Quite pricey for what they offer.

We booked for Sunday 1st sept there were 12 of us adults and teens in total. We all have 2 or 3 courses with wine and soft drinks. Food served quickly. There was a choice for everyone including a Sunday roast. Service was smooth and friendly. We all enjoyed everything we had. Prices were very reasonable. Would definitely recommend. We did offer to pre book but didn’t need to.

Visited here as a couple and enjoyed our meal very much. Love the fact you can get smaller portions (small appetite choice). We shared Nachos and then my husband had gammon steak and I had a small appetite chicken pie. We did not have dessert as we were full. All very tasty. We also had a bottle of wine. Total bill under £40. Very good value. The waitress was very pleasant and efficient. Would recommend to couples, families, groups of friends and also single people.

Needed to find somewhere to eat and found ourselves in this lovely wee pub in the middle of Bridge of Earn. Lovely meal. Couldn't fault the place at all. Inexpensive and delicious. Well done Village Inn.
