The food was nothing short of spectacular. Each dish… unique with a fantastic blend of flavours. The menu has a fantastic range of options to cater for everyone. There was a slight wait for our food however, the quality was worth it. We came for the steak pie and were not disappointed, it was served out of the dish at the table with vegetables, chips and a puff pastry top. We were presented with homemade scones before our starters arrived. They also have a tempting dessert menu.
From the moment we were seated our waitress, Caitlyn made us feel welcome, hanging our coats up, greeting us with a smile and attending to our every need with impeccable professionalism.
Her knowledge of the menu was impressive, and she offered excellent recommendations. She was on the ball and attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our glasses were always filled and that we had everything we needed throughout the evening. Despite it being busy, she made an active effort to get to know customers.
The service was prompt, and the food was delivered hot and delicious. Caitlyn went above and beyond to make our dining experience special, her likeable personality and enthusiasm to work shone through in the way she spoke and managed tables on a busy Saturday night.
I highly recommend The Tavern at Strathkinnes for a delectable meal with top-notch service. We will definitely return when next in St. Andrews.
Tranquil place with popular cafe on the station. So good. We had banoffee cake and lumberjack cake and was blown away. So do not miss this gem of a place. The drive there is fabulous. May see stags and birds of prey on the way. Staff were great too ! You’ll need to be able to take the step over the bridge to the platform!
Sorry no cake pics
Absolutely delicious fish supper. Our favourite chippy of all time. Coupled with excellent service. Were able to sit in even though there was no table service that evening. We are so grateful. Hopefully be back soon. Thank you.

What the village has been missing!
Now the Bistro is open, there is an a restaurant to be proud of, Derek and the team have really given Arrochar, Succoth and Tarbet somewhere to get great food.
Locally staffed and giving back to the community.
All the produce is local and fresh. The curries are flavoursome and authentically cooked, flavour hot not Westernised spice hot.
Pizzas are not mass produced circular but have irregular shape from being homemade. - Pineapple is acceptable on a pizza!!
We had 2 evening meals at this great find. Food was delicious and the owner and family and other staff were all lovely. A very warm and cosy restaurant. Thanks to everyone for making us feel so welcome and making our stay in Killin even more special. Highly recommend and suggest booking in advance.

I just had the best steak pie of my life here! Beautifully presented and it was so delicious - perfect in every way. The restaurant is comfortable, clean and is nicely decorated and well laid out. The menu is varied with some very tempting options and the service was fab - a great choice for a traditional meal.
Another enjoyable lunch with a pint and a book. The sole waitress on duty that day was extremely pleasant, polite and welcoming. Depsite the restaurant getting busy, she looked after everyone perfectly. I had my usual Ceasar Salad which is my favourite for a midday snack. Tasty and well presented. One of the best restaurants in the town, along with oits sister restaurant, The Three Brothers in George Street.

We stopped in to try mas as we were in the area. On first look, the menu looked amazing, loads of variety which is always appreciated.
We ended up ordering 5 tacos between the two of us plus some salsas and tortilla chips. The chips and salsa were really tasty and a decent variety of salsa too.
The tacos themselves were good, the crispy mushroom and soft shell crab in particular were great. Only thing both my partner and I didn't enjoy was the green chorizo with pineapple, too much cumin and not much else flavour wise. Everything else was good though and would happily head back
One thing I didn't see on the menu was birria beef which is a usual go to of ours for tacos, just something to keep in mind if heading for a visit.

Another stunning meal and service here this place never let's you down great service very friendly staff food very clean and absolutely fantastic. pints of kingfisher are the best to wash it down
Beautiful surroundings with excellent service and furnishings. The menu was varied although the dessert menu was very limited. The ambience was spoiled by the strong smell of cooking fish during our meal even though we were not too near the open kitchen.

This is an excellent bar dating from the Edwardian era. A brilliant range of beers are served and well kept here. Good place to watch sports and sit in good company.
Genuinely one of my favourite bars anywhere.
Staff are superb. Can't fault the place.
Also great on a sunny day. You can sit outside and watch the Perth Road go by.
A fantastic little restaurant on the A90. The staff were very accommodating with a large party arriving unannounced. The food and service were excellent. Toilets spotless. Would throughly recommend.
