The bbq chicken pizza was phenomenal, fresh, and light. Service is good and the ambiance was quiet. Very nice spot.

Next to the River Tay in Dunkeld, we were lucky enough to have lunch at this beautiful and picturesque restaurant, which offered us the best version of Scottish cuisine, combined with the exquisite service of the staff who served us. A highly recommended place for a good meal and a pleasant time in a magical setting.

Looking for a quiet place to eat locally and found this on the web. Absolutely well done! Vegetarian options were easy to find. The Garden Pizza with corn was excellent. Crust was crisp yet soft. Loaded with fresh vegetables and mushrooms. The Beetroot Risotto was fabulous to die for! Not mushy.

Lovely food and service. Hot and tasty, lots of choice. Dog friendly too.

Friendly and warm welcome and prompt service. Extensive selection of favourite bar meals as well as interesting specials. The food portions were generous. Only criticism would be that the al dente seasonal vegetables (of which there was an excellent variety) were borderline too al dente and the steak pie (which was generous, and the meat nicely tender) could have done with a little more seasoning. The beetroot and feta risotto was good, but spoiled slightly with the use of pickled beetroot. However, this was all a matter of taste, and there could be no faulting the quality of service and menu.

Food was great, quick and tasty - but it was the service that was really standout. Our wait staff couldn't have done more for us and we're really super friendly. Would highly recommend.

Would have given 5 stars for food if it weren't for being charged £14 for 2 tiny side salds that involved some leaves and a couple of baby tomatoes. Main food was outstanding

The lamb rump was excellent—cooked beautifully and full of flavor. While the dessert could use some improvement, the main course and overall dining experience were truly satisfying. What stood out most, though, was the warmth and friendliness of the staff. Even when small details could have been overlooked, their attentiveness and positive attitude made all the difference.

Stopped by for lunch on our way to Hermitage. Lovely town and bar. Great people. Unfortunately the pizza was terrible. The fried chicken sandwich was great however. Costly for mediocre food.

The food, service and atmosphere were amazing! My wife and I honeymooned here in Dunkeld 20 years ago and now we brought our 11 year old twin daughters to the beautiful picturesque village!

Nothing bad in particular it's just GROSSLY overpriced. £20 for a very average burger. £7.50 for a pint. Felt completely ripped off.

We are fairly frequent visitors to Z'S and is our preferred choice when we come to Dunkeld. Food always great, service always welcoming and friendly and always a lovely atmosphere. Would recommend 👌

Been here twice - once dining in the beer garden and once in the bistro with two large dogs. Staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating. Food was great, drinks were fab. 100% recommend

We are a family of seven and we called in for Sunday dinner. It was delicious and would highly recommend.

Catered for x9 guests at short notice. Really helpful staff. Food was👌. Chips especially. Lasagna was really tasty. Burgers were huge and yummy too. Catered for x2 coeliac guests. Fully understanding of dietary requirements. 10/10.

Really great food and friendly servers - lovely terrace seating on a sunny day & we’re kind d and flexible to move us indoors to the bistro when we were too chilly. Great Cullen skink & steak sandwich…crème brûlée was great too!

The food and service were good.

Nipped in for a quick lunch, the Steak Ciabatta was delicious. We sat in the bar. Nice decor and lots of fancy whisky to look at Dog friendly too, they brought out water unprompted and couldn't have been nicer. It was a little quiet, but on a Wednesday in March probably unsurprising. Staff were all lovely.

We visited on a busy Saturday afternoon for a family lunch accompanied by 3 dogs. Firstly, we arrived early, and due to the trusty Scottish weather (pouring rain) we asked if we could pull out booking forward. Staff were more than accommodating and showed us to our table. The service was great and we were impressed by just how dog friendly the restaurant was! The food was delicious and given how busy it was, it arrived really quite quickly. Overall a lovely visit & we will be back, when we're in the area.

Service was above and beyond, came in without a reservation with our 2 dogs and were welcomed with open arms. Food was also excellent!!

Staying in The Atholl Arms Hotel, as part of their Stay, Wine & Dine Deal. Z's Bistro is one of the restaurants in the hotel, (The Riverview Restaurant being the other one) Where we ate in daily. We njoyed our breakfasts and dinner in here. Friendly welcoming staff, always happy, smiley and professional. We njoyed Tempura King Prawns and Cullen skink as starters. North Sea Haddock and a venison burger on our first evening with a bottle of wine, and a £35 food allowance each evening this was part of their deal. All Our food was delicious the prawns were so tasty and very filling, as was the Cullen skink, Breakfast was served by the luvly Jennifer each morning, again friendly and engaging, we njoyed bacon and poached egg on muffins, and a full Scottish breakfast every morning, with orange juice, toast, and tea and coffee again food was tasty and well presented. Another evening we njoyed steak pie, and a chicken bacon and mozzarella pizza and a brioche bread and butter pudding. Our last evening an Aberdeen Angus Sirloin steak and a pepperoni Pizza again all our food was delicious. The Bistro is bright and spacious with a luvly atmosphere. The Stay W & D deal is on till end of April. Also Dog Friendly so highly recommend you visit. :) :)

We stopped to charge our car and spotted this place nearby on the map & so glad we did! The meat in the steak pie and venison casserole were so tender and well flavoured. Followed the great steak pie with a truly delicious chocolate mousse. Attentive service and a modern but cosy setting. This place is also Dog friendly with a dog menu (as you can see in the photos our dog was happy to pick his treats). It’s not a local restaurant for us but we will definitely come back.

Food was as from a chef the best meal I have had in a long time, all elements of the dish worked as they should, would recommend this place any day of the week. beautiful. Service was incredible from all the staff, good recommendations and friendly manner. Perfect night

One of the best Sunday lunches I've had. The poussin was cooked perfectly. Yorkshires massive and cauliflower cheese was great. The kids love it here, a great spot in Dunkeld!
