Visited for the first time today with my mum for her Birthday. Very relaxed setting, attentive and friendly staff with delicious food. When the restaurant realised the occasion, they brought my mum a glass of champagne and a dessert with a huge sparkler! A wonderful gesture. Will most definitely be back.

Food was amazing, especially the duck with the sour cherry gel! Was a nice selection of the cocktails, we all got the specials :)🤍

We have been eating at Deans for a very long time and find everything about it excellent. Yesterday we were there with Itison vouchers but unlike some restaurants with these, there was no evidence of a reduction in quality or choice. The staff are always cheerful and helpful - yesterday, the restaurant was very busy but tables were not kept waiting for courses. Would I encourage people to try it out? Yes, certainly.

If you are considering Deans then go ahead and book. Cracking Restaurant that delivers fabulously crafted dishes and top notch service.

Enjoyed a three course lunch, the service was excellent and the food exquisite. Full of flavour and beautiful presentation. Will definitely be back! If you have not tried Deans then would highly recommend.

My partner and I had starters, mains and dessert. Thoroughly enjoyed everything and couldn't recommend somewhere more than here for any occasion.

We had a fantastic evening at this lovely spot—warm atmosphere, inventive menu, and dishes that delighted every taste bud. Silwia was the star of the night: attentive, friendly, and full of great recommendations. Her genuine care turned a great meal into an unforgettable experience—can’t wait to come back!

Not the first time visiting and definitely won’t be the last! We have been here many times but attended for Sunday lunch and as always the food was absolutely exceptional. Service is always fantastic and still remains one of the best places in perth for a beautiful meal

In common with other reviewers, we thought that the food was very nice indeed, the restaurant had a nice atmosphere generated in large part by the excellent staff. However, we thought the portion sizes across all courses were meagre. In addition, the price of drinks whether soft or alcoholic were in our opinion, really quite expensive. This is Perth....not George St in Edinburgh

Wonderful food and fantastic service

Have been meaning to come here for a little date night for a very long time, and it absolutely did not disappoint. The star of the show was, without a doubt, my scallops with black pudding and crushed sweetcorn starter. I have never had scallops cooked so perfectly and seasoned and paired so well. The flavours were amazing and the presentation was beautiful! I would come back just for that! My Fiancé and I had the venison and chicken for our mains, both cooked perfectly, rich and tender, and served immediately after our starters. And for dessert we had the Crème brûlée and Chocolate cremeux. The portion sizes were ideal too. We both managed 3 courses and cleared our plates, and left very satisfied but not uncomfortably full. I genuinely couldn’t fault a single thing, right down to the temperature of the food when it was served. I realised afterwards that we didn’t once look for salt or pepper as the food was bursting with flavour, and I didn’t use even half of the peppered sauce that came with my main, as the chicken was already so juicy and tender. Huge compliments to the chef 👏 Staff were so lovely and attentive, and informed us as we were leaving that they do a tasting menu on a Thursday. We will 100% be back! Gorgeous food, setting and atmosphere 🌟

The restaurant was busy on a Friday lunchtime. Staff were very attentive. Food was divine. Not big portions but the quality is exceptional and because it's rich, it's very satisfying.

Bought an Itison voucher and decided to treat ourselves. Restaurant was busy which was nice to see, but staff were very friendly, service was great and we didn’t feel rushed at all. Food was delicious - the itison menu was slightly smaller than the standard menu, but still plenty to choose from and didn’t feel like it was a cheaper version. Will definitely be back and would highly recommend.

First time at Deans and could not fault it. From the excellent friendly, but not intrusive, service to the outstanding food which was well presented and just delicious. The Scallop starter was the best I had had for a long time. Oh and the wine was great as well. I would really highly recommend.

Booked a table for my mums birthday and everything was great. We were given a small complimentary soup as we didn’t order any starters. Friendly staff and very attentive, food was amazing and they even gave my mum a sparkler with her desert for her birthday. Euan the bartender made some very delicious cocktails for us that looked spectacular. Will definitely be back

A lovely lunch with a nice quiet, reserved and personable atmosphere The sauce in the venison was amazing - unctuous, rich, deep and moreish - wish I could’ve licked my plate or kept some bread to mop up the remains. We shall be back.

Food was exceptional. Best lunch we’ve had in a very long time. Great atmosphere and the staff were great.

Pretentious interior reflected in the food. Food was very average and mostly overcooked; presentation was suffice but the quality was not to the standard that it presents itself. Cocktails tasted watered down, wouldn’t be surprised if they came out of shop bought cartons. We’ve had much better meals at half the price. Would not recommend.

Amazing meal at Dean’s Perth. Every single dish was outstanding. Specific standouts were the scallops starter and the duck main. The staff could not have been more friendly yet still professional. We have been coming to Dean’s for dinner now for many years and the standard has never dropped. Thank you to Chef Deans and team for another fantastic meal.
