Familiarity and welcoming staff are always kind and helpful. Soufflé starter isn’t up to usual standards but all other dishes were delicious.

First time at Deans and could not fault it. From the excellent friendly, but not intrusive, service to the outstanding food which was well presented and just delicious. The Scallop starter was the best I had had for a long time. Oh and the wine was great as well. I would really highly recommend.

Booked a table for my mums birthday and everything was great. We were given a small complimentary soup as we didn’t order any starters. Friendly staff and very attentive, food was amazing and they even gave my mum a sparkler with her desert for her birthday. Euan the bartender made some very delicious cocktails for us that looked spectacular. Will definitely be back

A lovely lunch with a nice quiet, reserved and personable atmosphere The sauce in the venison was amazing - unctuous, rich, deep and moreish - wish I could’ve licked my plate or kept some bread to mop up the remains. We shall be back.

Pretentious interior reflected in the food. Food was very average and mostly overcooked; presentation was suffice but the quality was not to the standard that it presents itself. Cocktails tasted watered down, wouldn’t be surprised if they came out of shop bought cartons. We’ve had much better meals at half the price. Would not recommend.

Amazing meal at Dean’s Perth. Every single dish was outstanding. Specific standouts were the scallops starter and the duck main. The staff could not have been more friendly yet still professional. We have been coming to Dean’s for dinner now for many years and the standard has never dropped. Thank you to Chef Deans and team for another fantastic meal.

Lovely evening spent at Dean’s. I advised of allergies at the time of booking online, and these were acknowledged as we sat down which was reassuring, and the menu tweaked (for me) to accommodate. Thoroughly enjoyable evening with delicious food and the friendliest service.

First time back at deans under new ownership and it didn’t disappoint, great cocktails and great food for a Sunday lunch. The renovations are subtle but leave the place looking much fresher, with a great atmosphere and great service from the staff.

Last night we celebrated my mum's 80th birthday at Deans, we travelled 2 hours to get there, and all of us would gladly travel longer if it meant we could enjoy the evening all over again. The whole experience was perfect, from my initial enquiry email in December, to the regular email contact from Athene and Leila with suggestions, ideas and recommendations, right up to meeting with family in the bar area for cocktails before dinner. I had sent down table decorations prior to the evening and they had made up a table in the bar AND the restaurant for our family group and it was beautiful ❤️ Every. Single. Team member we came into contact with was wonderful, knowledgeable, funny, kind and helpful and I can't thank them all enough for making our evening so special. Mums birthday has been thwarted with family health issues and the grand plans my parents had for her big birthday had been dashed, but the team at Deans stepped in and made everything perfect in what has been a difficult situation. The food, oh my gosh the food. All 3 courses were delicious, looked so pretty on the plate and filled up a family who love to eat.... Even the nephew with hollow legs! My personal highlight of the meal being the smoked salmon starter which was so much more than just local salmon on a plate. I for one, cannot wait to go back and will look for any excuse to be down in Perth so I can drink cocktails and eat delicious food time and time again. Thank you team, you can't know how grateful I am to you all ❤️

Best restaurant meal I have had in a long time. The food was devine (I had the Orkney Rib Eye) the handmade fries were amazing and the mushrooms were devine! The chef also made me a bespoke Garlic sauce as I have an alcohol allergy. The dessert was equally enjoyable (Granola crumble). The staff were attentive and knowledgeable, and the atmosphere was relaxing with lovely decor, nice background music. Highly recommend for that special occasion or a fine dining treat. Our first visit but we will definitely be back. I encourage you to try it. We all (party of 4) enjoyed and raved about it. Thank you, Dean's of Perth.

There seems to be a problem with their extraction system, as the restaurant gets busier, the food cooking smell becomes much more noticeable and actually makes your clothes smell. This has happened the last twice we've been and it is putting us off returning.
