Came for lunch and the food was incredible. These guys know how to serve chicken!!!! Loved it.

Wow, we stopped by to het a coffee, but ended up with a Scottie Hotdogs! Impressive ones! Best hotdogs i ever had.

We went here last Friday for dinner and it is an absolutely amazing little restaurant. The staff were lovely and service was exceptional even on a busy Friday night. The halloumi fries were some of the best I have ever had & I had the Cullen skink gnocchi for my main course, it was outstanding and so so delicious. The portion size was good too, we'd have loved dessert but we were both too full! This is my first time here and I will definitely be visiting again and recommending Cù Mara to my friends.

We had a lovely meal, we are very fussy about restaurants and highly recommend this one.

Really disappointing. Slow service, and poor food with cheap undercooked ingredients, lacking any taste. The decor is nice but the key reason you go out to eat is for the food to be decent, so if that’s what you care about, I’d recommend trying somewhere else.

A welcome retreat from the howling storm! Went for an early dinner with our dog. Best burger I think I’ve ever had (the Ultimate Burger) and a delightful beer to wash it down. Also homemade coleslaw 👌🏽 and chips were perfectly cooked and served hot 🔥

Have had both a dine in and takeaway over two nights. The food is very tasty, the staff are very attentive and make the whole experience very enjoyable

Got takeaway pizza and it was brilliant as was the pastrami bagel i returned for the next day

The BEST resturant around. I ate here 4 nights in a row. The food is exceptional and the staff are so sweet. 10/10 would recommend! (P.S try the veggie burger!!)

What a great little find. Stumbled upon this on our drive home from Scotland in our Campervan - food was amazing for a reasonable price and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommend

Really excellent! Best mussels I’ve had anywhere in the world!

Stopped in for dinner after running around Loch Lomond all afternoon, service was exceptional, with very friendly staff. If you haven’t had Haggis before like us and you want to try it, this was a great place to start, but aside from our first time experience with that local delicacy, the Cu Mara Ultimate burger and Classic Burger were very flavorful and delicious!

Bistro & Takeaway is a bit misleading because you can actually get some great food at this place. It's kinda small inside, staff is friendly and food was really good. Also they offer a nice selection of beers. We arrived early, but in general I guess it's recommended to place a reservation (some people couldn't get a table later on).

What a find. The food was amazing and the staff were so welcoming . They welcome dogs and provided water for my wee dog I highly recommend this wee place if you are passing through Arrochar.

Took 30 mins for very basic food bland food

NO GLUTEN-FREE!!!! Headed here after 9hour drive from norfolk. Food looked ok. They claim gluten-free options are available, but in reality they cannot provide gluten free meals!!!!

This place is absolutely incredible. Hands down the best veggie burger (beetroot) I've ever eaten. Super tasty, and well worth a stop (or 2 or 3!)

Lovely gluten-free pizza. It is cooked in the same oven so there is cross contamination but the staff were really helpful and knowledgeable about warning us regarding celiac and allergy information.

Food is really excellent here and the venue is lovely. Smoked haddock as fish and chips is a wonderful idea. Pizzas, burgers, dogs and chicken all superb. Whoever is behind the kitchen really knows what they are doing.

We had a very tasty meal here and a pleasant time with our little daughter. The tequila mussels with the flatbread were to die for and the portion was perfect. It was a bit cold, but bearable with a fleece jacket.

Really unexpected find. Nice chicken and buffalo mayo ciabatta and coffee.

The food and service were good for the none coeliacs in the group. Unfortunately all the gluten free options were not suitable for coeliacs due to only one fryer and a small kitchen so I couldn’t eat there.

Ok nice big portions. Staff run of feet. I had a Scottie dog it was very nice. It’s like an American dinning but not all American food. Some Italian.They do pizzas burgers Hotdogs ok American come Italian. It’s small so your best booking a table.

IF - the two young men, handling the orders and serving the food, had done a job equivalent to the job done in the kitchen - the reading would have been 3x5... Unfortunately, they failed to do so - with flying colours! Sorry guys - you need to do better if I'm ever to set fit here again...

I had the haggis and black pudding pizza it was delicious and also recommended the fish and chips

Great food at this place. We ordered the house burger and the goat cheese salad, both delicious dishes with generous quantities. The waiters were young but very friendly and attentive at all times. I highly recommend your visit. Good atmosphere.

Absolutely epic chicken and waffles burger (go with the blue cheese sauce). Wife's pizza was also very good, as was the loaded fries. Couldn't recommend this more. Good view from outside, though that's takeaway only.

Had a lovely goat's cheese salad and glass of white, my friend had a delicious pizza, stupidly I left my handbag behind but the delightful owner went out of his way to meet me there early next morning to return it to me. Excellent place.

Went for a bite after a hike and did not disappoint. The fish and chips was some of the best I had ever had and loved the little touches like minty peas and samphire served with the fish. Nice atmosphere too!

This is an incredible place to stop and have a meal if you want to get out of the city for a couple hours, beautiful view and very clean restaurant. The staff were so friendly and helpful!

What a wonderful, hidden (relatively) gem of a restaurant on the banks of the beautiful setting of Loch Long. They have seating area but I used the takeaway facility. I of course had to opt for the special ‘Cobbler’ pizza which had venison, haggis, mushroom and a delicious whiskey sauce and wow - what a pizza. Up there with any of Glasgows finest pizza establishments, crust was authentic, high quality toppings and unique combinations offered. I went back the next day and tried the chicken tenders which were also delicious. What a find, 10/10.

Cù Mara Bistro and Takeway is an example of a hidden gem. Great service, atmosphere, and food. We had the venison and haggis burger, chicken burger, and tequila mussels. All of the food was exceptional quality, particularly the chips, which would have to be some of the best in the UK. I highly recommend this place to everyone. It is best to book in advance as there are only limited tables.

Food was fantastic - I had the Nashville chicken waffle burger and my partner had the ultimate burger. Both were amazing and were followed up with dessert. Service was great and all staff were lovely and attentive. So nice to have such a good local spot - thanks guys!:)

We ordered a variety of foods and really enjoyed them. The staff was very friendly and the atmosphere was good. One thing more, the Scottish beers were great as well!

Great service and food, friendly stuff

The setting is very beautiful. Opposite a lake and several mountains surrounding it, the decoration of the restaurant is also very pretty. Big downside on the service. Although they were nice, we waited an hour for our dishes! For just two pizzas it’s a little excessive. The restaurant was full and only two servers in the room. The pizzas were good and well stocked. The dough was a tad too thick for my taste. A good restaurant on the side of the road, the other burger style dishes looked incredible!

Brilliant food, fantastic views of the cobbler

This place is a crucial place to visit if you're passing Arrochar. Whether to pick up a pizza or some fried chicken to take away or to sit in for their delicious cakes or seafood, you have to stop here. I don't make the rules.

Our choice for hotel accommodation is partly based on the catering establishments available in the area. What a party here! Tasty and original (typical Scottish) dishes. Good service and great prices. Big tip!

Burger is mediocre - probably because of a bit specific sauce. Coleslaw salad is very specific as well and probably not for everyone (taste as well huge chunks of veggies). Fries are amazing. Chicken tenders are very very good but buffalo sauce is also very specific (strong taste, very sour). I would recommend.

Takes more time to deliver the food. Also timings are too less for the counter. Needs patience a lot

Absolutely excellent place! We came here as a big group of 10 on 4th May and the staff were really nice and accommodating! The food was excellent and good prices. I'd definitely recommend here!

Stopped here on Friday for lunch, and it was fabulous , great service and even greater food. Myself and my partner both had the seeet chilli chicken ciabatta and fries, and I’m still thinking about it on Monday. The wine was also delicious. 5 star all the way.

Absolutely disgusted by the staff here , phoned and made a reservation which I clearly wasn't listened too. Booked a table For 4 for my partners birthday. When we arrived I was told I booked a table for 2. They proceeded staring at other guests to see who would be finished first. To make matters worse they tried to get 4 of us to squeeze round a table hardly big enough for 2 by the door😡. Review says which food would you recommend......I wouldn't know as I didn't get anything 🤯🤯

Great spot. I’ve been meaning to stop in Arrochar for years and I’m glad I did. This is a tight run ship! The manager leads from the front - welcoming customers, taking orders, cleaning tables. Her team clearly respects her and they function as a well-knit unit. I was well looked after while I waited for a table to become available. Great food, great views, great people.

Excellent restaurant. We might have had doubts when seeing the menu which mixes the great classics of Italian trattorias (pizzas, burratta, etc.) and Scottish fish and ships pubs, but the dishes offered on the menu are perfectly made with fresh, quality products. The only downside is that the chef doesn't mess around with the hours: at 9 p.m., we close and the poor waitresses spend their time refusing cutlery, including to the regulars. But a restaurant that refuses people is a good sign ;-)

We only stopped off here on the way home . Absolutely blown away . Quality of the food , service was spot on . Didn’t expect this level of quality. Definitely be back and would highly recommend a visit. Worth the Journey

Food is excellent. Under staffed for a Saturday afternoon, staff running around, orders coming late. Waited nearly an hour for food. Ridiculous

We were in today for lunch and it was lovely. Staff were friendly and efficient, even when under pressure at the busiest time of day. Food was delicious (soup with warm bread followed by awesome Pastrami bagel and lovely coffees). Toilets were spotlessly clean.

Found this wee place by accident and so glad we did. Food was delicious. Clearly cooked to order and everything so tasty. Excellent service from the staff.
