The best restaurants in England

Awesome lunch and great masala chai! Had the chicken bhuna and it was delicious! The service was excellent and the people I went with all enjoyed their meals. Wasn’t too expense either which is great. Would love to go back!

I have just had an amazing Sunday lunch from the Crown and Anchor in Sowerby. I live near the pub and have been a regular for a few years. Unfortunately over the last year I’ve been unable to visit the lovely, warm, friendly pub. Today Kirsty and Miles the landlady and landlord gave my husband a Sunday lunch to bring home for me. Not only was it amazing but also beautifully presented and still hot! I can’t thank them enough for going above and beyond. That just shows what a great local pub/restaurant they are. If you are ever visiting the area you must visit, you will be given a very warm welcome. Again thank you very much Kirsty and Miles x

The pasties were very poor. Meat was all grizzle and not edible. Pastry was barely cooked. Worst pasty we've had. I'm surprised they advertise them as "banging". I wouldn't recommend.

Nice little cafe, quick service. They let me change an item on plate for something else. Nice sized breakfast with plenty on the plate. They have vegan, vegetarian meals as well as meat eater food The only problem was how much traffic seemed to go buy as we were pulling out but that's not the cafes fault. Would go again

dream cake more like nightmare cake,DO NOT GO HERE unless you want to be sick,i was up all night feeling terrible,i was thinking of going to the hospital thats how bad this place was,spent all there money all the interior but they dont know how to make food. only thing thats was good is the music. in conclusion DO NOT GO

Big shout out to brother Idrees. Came here last night for my dad's retirement meal with a few colleagues. Food and drinks were amazing and he was a great host. Will definitely be coming back here again inshallah

Best place in town for friendly service and a good English breakfast. Prices are reasonable, huge parking lot, and options are plentiful. Too bad breakfast filled us up because the lunch menu also looks great

2nd time I have been and it was just as good as the first. The food and service are exceptional.

I cannot recommend Woodside more. They have by far the best chips in West Yorkshire. The steak pie is a must, it’s one of the best I’ve ever had. Truly my favourite chippy in Leeds!

second time here but it was just as good. this time, i tried the chicken manchurian bao buns, pan fried chicken dumplings and chicken and prawn wontons. there was enough to share. staff were great and communicative, they told us about what is popular and even gave us an extra bao bun because there were 3 of us! all the food was delicious, soft, flavourful. be weary of the fact that they close from 3-5 and reopen again. service was great. i’ll definitely coming back here for good halal, chinese food.

So sad to see Buckler's has now closed. We used to love coming here, way to regularly!!
