Great fish and chips, very nice staff would definitely recommend it

Very affordable for good food. Has a really interesting selection including some of my favourites - battered sausage, Spam fritters, etc etc 365. Introduced me to the concepto f deep fried corned beef, deep fried black pudding, and deep fried haggis which are all better than they have any right to be, fantastic and interesting selection. Pie is delicious. great food freiendly staff and a great local.

Ordered a large chips, fishcake (A proper one with a slab of fish sandwiched between two slices of potato and deep fried), battered sausage, scraps and homemade Tartar Sauce. Food was amazing and very tasty, portions generous, friendly staff and quick service.

Today I tasted their food it was yummy and fresh as well. Service was good & the environment was nice & cozy There was also an arrangement for dine in but I took away my order for having lunch at home with my hubby. Highly recommended I wish to dine in very soon😊 #Forgot to take photographs of food 🥲

the battered sausage tasted horrible the chips were freezing and half of them weren't cook and the delivery drop the pop and it split open

Fish was tiny, and so was the amount of chips received, and the batter did not taste fresh, really disappointed as we have had very good fish and chips previously, don’t expect this poor quality for the expensive price. Customer lost!

First time trying here and we will definitely be back food was a good size portion and was very nice.

With the job i do, i visit a lot of fish n chip shops. This is by far the best in Yorkshire imo. Chips are lovely and crisp, with fluffy insides. Beautiful. Great, friendly staff too.

lovely fish&chips thank you. the delivery driver was grumpy. i have breathing problems and do make the effort to go outside to meet the delivery. but he said he rang me three times. i didn't receive any calls and was outside ready to meet.

Ordered 26th Jan 2024. Why do the chips look as though they have been in the fryer several times, fish £10.50 for a supposedly XL fish very over priced couldn't tell the difference between the smaller fish that was also ordered. Left a very nasty greasy taste in your mouth.when we got the fish and chips delivered they were just barely warm and soggy. I will not use Woodside fisheries ever AGAIN

Really genuinely lovely people run this fish and chips shop. You get a great ultra characterful New York welcome from the proprietress and wife of the proprietor who is English. All the very best in a good 'ole Anglo American Alliance. Outstanding and unmissable addictively repeatable 😊

The fish was so small definitely not an adults size. Chips were soggy no taste. Not worth the money

The curry was rank tainted the whole meal with its smell

I only live up the road so my food should have been delivered hot, instead the chips were cold and there was a lot of old chips mixed with the fresher ones. Gravy was only warm. The only thing I can complement you on was the steak pie which my friend had and said it was lovely. I usually use the cove, but thought I would get from you for a change. Really disappointed.

Always phone through for a Special, curry sauce & scraps. Nice piece of thick Haddock, lovely batter. Always call in a few minutes earlier so it is straight out of the pan, piping hot. Perfect every time. Fish always cooked to order - Best way in my opinion. Pleased to see they are well supported, happy staff, happy customers. Thanks Steve, Jacky and team.

First time in ordering from here. Large portions which is great, but they was after taste left in your mouth that was not nice when eating the chips and fish. Not sure what they was cooked in but it wasn't nice and I had to throw away.

I inadvertently left a 0 review on Uber eats which incorrect and so I'm writing on here to update... We had fish and chips twice, with side sauces, the order was delicious, hot, fresh and tasty. The portion sizes were generous and we enjoyed it very much. Will definitely order again.

The best in the Area? Most Fridays treat myself to a special, really thick fish with a crispy batter. Always order in advance as it gets busy. Always have a friendly greeting from Steve and the girls. A happy ship that has gone from strength to strength with longer opening hours.

Best fish and chips in Leeds. The fish and chips are amazing! Not greasy at all just well cooked and crispy. The highlight for me has to be the tartar sauce. Homemade and incredible! Tastes so good with the fish and chips. I tell everybody to come here for their fish and chips as its hands down the best in Leeds.

Fish spot on. New potatoes are apparently in stock now so chips were outstanding. Service is always good here- friendly and smiling staff. Came in with my friend who was equally impressed. He got their famous steak pie...and says will definitely return.

Always good. Best chippy around. My only gripe is that the homemade steak pie isn’t as big as it used to be so we didn’t order it. However, it is delicious!

It seems they don't want to serve the customers always closed, I always came all the way from Bradford to try to find it open but I couldn't find the shop open.
