Lovely food, coffee and service

Cup of tea and a bun, what's not to like?

Just tried the new food van menu outside, which is also on the menu inside the cafe. Both had the large schnitzel bun, one chicken and one pork, wow! One of the best ‘burgers’ we’ve had for a long time. Comes with two sides of garlic mayo and a spicy tomato sauce. Gonna try the smash burger next week. There is also other choices from the ‘food van’ menu to try as well. 10 out of 10.

Very busy when I arrived and got served very quick and food came out quick such brilliant staff could have a laugh with manager #wheelchairguy

We orderd with a very jolly lady so polite n lovely we orderd cinnamon rolls croissant i had the raspberry and white chocolate flapjack... Oh my days it was so nice the latte was delicious too my daughter had a hot chocolate with cream and marshmallow she enjoyed every bit will definitely return thankyou x

A group of us, who meet weekly decided to give what used to be Percy’s another chance. There were a few less flies than in the past. The girl who served us was excellent, the food came in good time - though quite hefty portions. Having enjoyed the lunch - despite dribbling cranberry sauce all over and leaving a good portion of the wrap - which was huge, we settled down to enjoy our coffees, when, who I assume was the owner/ manageress descended upon us to ask if we wanted anything else - more or less - now you’ve eaten, if you don’t want anything else - off you go!!! Despite there being no shortage of tables! Not appropriate and it won’t be our weekly venue after all!!

Food was not great service was ok but slow, atmosphere was fine.

I walked down with a dog so had an outside seat but the service was still amazing and the weather was brilliant for us, I had the tuna mayo salad and a banana milkshake which was delicious!! I didn't have a chance to check out the inside or the toilets that much but I'd still recommend it!

Had a coffee and a really nice lemon cake whilst visiting the site. Service was great, would recommend if you are in the area.

Lots of caravans and motor homes to look at. A little overwhelming and overpriced. Cafe friendly and welcoming. Food tasty. Toilets clean Lots of parking spaces.

Excellent full English breakfast. Good and welcoming service and good value. Our two dogs were also looked after although you can only have them in the outside area which is fine.

Dined in today 15th May for my friends 60th birthday. We had a fantastic afternoon tea. It was the best we've ever had, and we've had a few. Gorgeous fresh sandwiches, cakes and scones with clotted cream and coffee and tea refills as well. There's plenty of parking so no stress looking for a spot! The staff were lovely and they couldn't do enough for us. This will be our go-to place from now on. Just amazing!!

Clean, tidy, full breakfast will cost you more than a tenner, But it’s a bloody good breakfast. Staff are on point, great service.

Visited for the first time in a long while and was so impressed. Excellent service from helpful, polite and pleasant staff, and the best smashed avocado and poached egg I've ever had! I will definitely return soon.

We had lunch at The Classic and Contemporary Cafe at Bawtry Caravans today. We chose cheese and onion sandwiches, bacon , Brie and cranberry panini, and ham and cheddar panini - all served with a crisp salad, coleslaw and fries. Generous portions and great tastes, and lots of choice on the menu!

This establishment was recommended to me so to be honest I always approach with scepticism. I ordered the classic breakfast what an amazing delight. The presentation, quality of produce and the taste surpassed not only my expectations but also that of the initial recommendation. It is evident that this team not only know food but absolutely love food and the feeling it has on there customers. My tastebuds are still singing and dancing. Thank You so much J

Really nice place, good food and drink selection

This was the third visit in recent months. For the other members of the party, there was plenty of choice and the food arrived well presented and was enjoyed. However, I require gluten Free. For a cafe that prides itself in serving some gluten free cakes, there needs to be more attention to the general menu. On two of the three visits, disappointingly, I have been told that the gluten free bread order has not arrived, so I have been offered a jacket potato. With a little bit of imagination, a wider range of dishes could be made available. Jacket potato and chocolate brownie are the standard gf offerings for the 10% of us who have to be gluten-free in the population. Unfortunately, the chips are apparently cooked in a general fryer so cannot be offered with sandwiches etc as for other customers.

The classic cafe is a lovely cafe, the decor was beautiful, the staff we're very friendly and our food was really nice. I had a small breakfast, and I would definitely visit again to try other items from the menu.

We visited here a couple of weeks ago after looking at some caravans. We sat at a table directly in front of the till. After about 20 minutes we hadn’t been served so my wife went to the counter to order, then lady behind the till came over and took our order. About 15 minutes later my beans on toast arrived, 5 minutes after I finished my meal my wife’s scone arrived. The food was ok but our experience was let down by the service.

Stopped to look in the shop but didn't purchase anything. We ordered 2 different toasted sandwiches and hot drinks and bottles of water. Both sandwiches came with salad garnish and coleslaw. Both of us found the sandwiches to be really filling and very tasty. Highly recommended

Arrived and was told to take a seat, whilst waiting three people were served at the counter, when I went to order food, I was told there was a 45 min wait, so we left

Lovely Cafe, with a great selection of cakes 🍰. I had a nice cappuccino ☕ and Smashed Avocado 🥑 and poached egg 🥚 on toast, it came to just over 10£, it was lovely. The service was great 🤩 and they made me feel very welcome. Plenty of seating available and very clean inside. Toilets 🚻 area just around the corner from the entrance. Nipped in here for food with us shopping here, and with the welcoming of a member of staff and her service. This is why I am writing this review. As we walked In, we could see it was extremely busy and a lady member of staff asked if we had booked, we hadn't she was extremely friendly and said she would see if there was a table available. She promptly went of cleared a table and seated us. This member of staff was such a breath of fresh air was so happy, polite and made us smile and laugh, I watched this lady with everybody and everything she was doing she didn't stop, she took our order also. Through her service, I would most certainly would come back, I do hope this review gets back to her ( she had really dark hair, fringe, glasses, middle age )as she Is an employee a company should value she was rushed of her feet but showed nothing but happiness, true customer service, Thankyou sorry I didn't get to say good bye. The food was nice. The service was excellent.

We visit The Classic Cafe on a regular basis the food is excellent but the service is very poor the staff just stands about doing nothing apart from talking instead of asking people what they would like

Never disappointed no matter how many times I have been..

I had a nice latte & delicious cherry scone but my friend asked for eggs Benedict but they couldn't do it as there were problems with the gas. She chose a Panini instead but had to leave a bit of it. Helpful staff & good service & convenient car park.

AMAZING. Thank you so much to all of the team at the Cafe for their amazing service and food today. I sent a late evening message on whatts app to see if they could cater for 15 people for a birthday breakfast and was replied to out of hours with reassurance they would be happy to have us. We then showed up with closer to 25 of us which was not a problem for them at all. The table was ready, the waitress’s were on point and very polite and organised. Food wise we had a mixture of full breakfasts and other options from the menu which all came out in record time with no complications / mistakes and tasted fabulous! Highly recommend for group bookings as it’s a lovely big space and well equipt for all ❤️ massive thanks to all and we will be back soon!

Today's visit to the cafe wasn't as good as it usually is. We waited over an hour for our food order to arrive. Other customers arrived after us and were served before us and had left before we got our food. I asked for free drinks because of the extensive wait twice. Our drinks order was taken but hadn't arrived by the time we had finished eating so we payed and left. Very poor service to say the least, I'm being generous by giving 2 stars.

Over priced. We didn't get to see if the quality of food was worth it as after seating us nobody took our order. Lots of kids behind the counter but no-one to direct them. We left after 10 mins sat waiting.

Lovely food and lots of it. However we weren't acknowledged when we entered by any staff for about 5 minutes even though plenty walking passed us. We asked not to put coleslaw on our plates but they did but no chips and no condiments of any sort. We will go again but would ask for a little better service please. Maybe just an off day.

Always the same quality food at good prices, chicken and alepeno panni x 2 ( with salads and fries)1 toastie with same,1 soup of day, 3 pint/ large lagers, appletiser and soda, 2 slices of caramel cake.. 55 quid @ 2pm , well spent as for supper only had small meals at around 9pm.
