Really lovely coffee shop with a nice atmosphere. The staff are wonderful. Food is great and the cakes are so yummy, although on my last visit they were slightly so stale. There are plenty of seats although it does sometimes get busy. The only other criticism I have is that the tables, upholstery and floor could be cleaned a little more often throughout the day as some people are messy eaters and crumbs get around!

Myself and my friend had afternoon tea here, what can I say, it was delicious!! So many cakes, sandwiches and savoury treats, it's the best afternoon tea I've had, was lovely 😍

Best drinking chocolate in Doncaster for me.

Very disappointing our first visit,and the last staff member that eventually served me was miserable no smile nothing.Coffee was just warm.I did not ask for cream on my grandson drink the original lady that served me said yes you did,!After I questioned the lady serving coffee you don't attempt to argue with a customer.The wraps arrived I started to eat mine and spat it out cold and cold in middle.I immediatly asked for my money back my grandsons wrap was warm on edge and again cold in the middle.I gave up by this stage and left.Clearly the food is not freshly cooked and may be a training course for staff in how to use a microwave would be good.

It was our first visit to this lovely coffee house, the food and coffee was really lovely. A little bit of a wait to be served but worth it . The only thing I could say was it was a little bit cold inside . It felt like there was no heating on at all and had to leave our coats on the intire time .

Absolutely fantastic coffee house with great food and coffee. I recommend the breakfast wrap! The staff are always nice and friendly and happy to help.

A bit busy but means it is popular!

We regularly go for tea and scones on a Tuesday and really enjoy the food. I booked different cakes, buns and biscuits for a family holiday to take with us. The family loved the baking and it was so lovely to have delicious home made cakes, buns and biscuits to eat. The staff where very helpful when putting the request in and we was certainly not disappointed. Thank you so much to all the staff in Jimmy Pigs. I would highly recommend their food you will certainly not be disappointed.

Such an amazing little place. So much better than your usual chain coffee cafes (not naming names). Such a wonderful selection of the best cakes around and very fresh coffee. The late art game is also 👌 🔥 Thanks so much!

orderd a bacon sandwich, bacon looked like it had been grilled the day before, was very disappointed

Lovely place but find that the menu for myself who can’t eat spicy foods etc is quite limited. Service is also very slow so be prepared for a wait.

Great coffee, much better, in my opinion, than the big chains such as Starbucks, Costa etc. Great selection of cakes too. I often drop in when nearby as always guaranteed friendly service and great coffee.

I ordered cake for my daughter’s birthday . It was amazing and the taste was to die for , who ever tastes the cake said it was so good and yummy . They are very honest and make sure they do everything right for you! And i adore the coffee i get from them 😋😋 Thank a lot !!

Popped in for a coffee and cake whilst my car was in body shop, lovely friendly staff, had a latte and a piece of locally made apple and blackberry cake, fruit grown on a local allotment, absolutely gorgeous, cake was so moist, definitely recommend whilst fruit still in season.

Came here for the first time on recommendation. Great service at the order point, and the food was lovely. However there are no menus on the table so you can’t decide what you want until you get to the front of the queue so you feel pressured to order anything. Anyway I wasn’t disappointed in my pressured order. Pork sandwich with stuffing was beautiful. We also had to clear our table before we sat down. Which was a bit annoying but it was rather busy.

Having been a few times over the last couple of year i really had a special place in my heart for this shop. The staff always friendly and the atmosphere very homely and personal. Sadly my experience this week has been soured somewhat. The place has been plundered and i am guessing it is Covid related but still. The staff all looked gloomy and uninterested. The manager who was a young lady was very rude to the staff in front of myself and the customer behind me. so rude that if I had been spoken to in such a way I would have walked straight out of the door. The coffee was not great either tbh. The reason for 2 stars is that the cake was still delicious. Please sort the attitude and effort Jimmy Piggs. You were amazing before. Ruth

i do not live near my parents and ordered the mothers day afternoon tea my dad picked it up and took it home for a surprise. it was amazing very high quality , it lasted my parents two days. they were so impressed and with the food and the service and the great idea of the takeaway, thanks so much massive recommendation.

Staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was very autumnal and comforting with leaves and lights. The honeycomb hot chocolate and flat white were delicious. The same can be said for the breakfast sandwiches. Overall great value for money and we'll definitely be visiting again.

The drinks are always lovely and the cakes are to die for! especially the banana and nutella loaf and the key lime pie!😻😻😻

Took my Sis Mum and Aunt for a coffee and light lunch. It was a lot nicer than I expected. Seating on the right as you walk in a little tight especially for mums with pushchairs. There didn’t appear to be a toilet either we were advised to use the one at Tesco if needed. I don’t drink tea or coffee but Mum , sister and Auntie all said both were good. Our light lunch was both plentiful ,of good quality and well presented. Staff were nice and friendly will visit again .

What a great place for a coffee - and a lot more besides! Right next to a superstore and a bit out of town, it is nevertheless worth the effort to find it. Kindly staff, good and comfortable seating and excellent coffee and food. Highly recommended.

I visited this place on the 12/8/19 with 4 other friends and their little babies and one of my own. I heard really good reviews about this place but it was my first time. The food was absolutely gorgeous I ordered a bacon and egg sandwich which I asked for it well done which they did perfectly to my taste! It wasn’t a greasy cafe sandwich it tasted luxury. For after, I ordered a “homemade” Ferraro Roche cheesecake which was the best cheesecake I had tasted before! I saw they advertised local fresh cakes made and brought in house which you could actually use yourself for your own occasion which I would certainly do. The staff were friendly and also I was very pleasantly surprised to see when I went to use the toilet facilities to change my baby they provided wipes and nappies if a parent needed to use which I think is a wonderful touch incase it’s needed. Lastly, I left the cafe satisfied and gave feedback to one of her staff to say thank you and it’s been a pleasant visit and nipped into Tesco next door. Half an hour later I realised I had mis placed my new iPhone! I went back in to see if I had left it in the cafe and they said yes a member of staff found you had I had left it in the toilet and they put it away safe until I had returned. Not only to have lovely food, great service, brilliant facilities but you have very trustworthy staff so thank you ! I will be returning weekly with all my friends and recommending you going forward 😃

I enjoyed my visit here (first time visit). i thought the coffee was excellent and they serve a good range of cakes and casual foods including sandwiches. The place has a good, welcoming 'local' atmosphere and i would come here again. Gluten free and other diets are well catered for,

I visited here and I had heard good reviews about it, and on the food and drink side it was very nice, however I was highly disappointed with the cleanliness. The tables weren’t cleaned and had disgusting crumbs everywhere and they were on the chairs too !!! The coffee place was very nice as was the decor but the tables weren’t cleaned and it wasn’t a pleasant trip 🙁

A lovely, cosy coffee house. Very helpful & friendly staff. Love the fact they have Gluten Free bread to make a range of sandwiches & also a variety of dairy free milks. I visit often with friends & have never been disappointed.

Often come here because the coffee is good and there is a great charity shop next door. However the wait for drinks is sooooooo looooong. Every time it’s s the same. Sorry Jimmy Piggs, you need to be faster.

One of my favourite places to go, always greeted with a smile, fabulous coffee, beautiful homemade cakes, lovely staff, be there in the morning for my regular takeout coffee 😊

As the owners quite rightly point out, this is a coffee/tea shop primarily but there are plenty of lovely cakes, breakfast sandwiches and panninis available.

Cafe near to Tesco’s outside town. Went about 1pm on Friday lunch when the place was full but managed to grab a.vacated table which was cleared quickly. Ordered bacon rolls and coffee- both came together after a 10 minute wait. Plenty of bacon in fresh rolls and hot quality coffee. What’s not to like for a tenner.

Lovely,friendly atmosphere, great coffee.The only problem is the wait for drinks!It took 30 minutes for my coffee to come this time,20 minutes last time.

Popped in for a coffee before shopping in Tesco next door. Had great coffee, cake and a milkshake served by a smiling Emma. All the staff seemed happy, nice relaxed atmosphere and sensible prices. Table service too. Much better than Costa! Recommended.

Great visit to Jimmy Piggs. This was my first visit but I will be back. Great coffee, great service and one of the best cheese scones ever.

Visited with my daughter for lunch, and we ordered a panini. That is exactly what we got, no salad, not even a garnish, in fact half the plate was taken up with the serviette and knife. The glum waitress slapped it down in front of us with a curt 'enjoy'. The food was edible, but definitely a disappointment. We won't be returning or recommending.

Am never disappointed with the coffee here, it's so smooth & yummy & the milkshakes are fab too. Staff are nice and friendly and it's handy to do your shopping at Tesco afterwards.

Excellent coffee and friendly staff and service. Coffee was very good and so were our sandwiches. Personally, we found our cakes, coffee and walnut and also the lemon drizzle were quite dry (though portion was very generous).

I visit j.p's when i can and I am never disappointed with what is on offer. I like to sample a different cake everytime i visit and they never fail to disappoint with a new sweet treat for me to enjoy.

Just had another great visit to Jimmy pigs!!, this is a very warm welcoming place and the most amazing coffee and deliouse cakes

Jimmy Piggs is just round the corner from us so we pop in every now and again. Coffee is very very good and as are the cakes. Coffee is just as good if not better than the mainstream coffee places and there is a great selection of syrups and decaf etc. Coffee and cake is 4 star.

Very disappointed no scones by 11.30 on a Friday and service very slow waited for coffee for at least 15 mins

Jimmy Piggs has the friendliest staff serving the best coffee. And the cakes, scones and sandwiches are reasonably priced and very tasty. They have a small selection of newspapers, books and toys to keep all ages satisfied. Superb!

Friendly service every time their cheese scones are the best ive tasted you get a loyalty card so once full you can choose any coffe of any size . They have a good takeout service also .

This was my first time here today with my friend. I was really impressed by the sausage bacon and egg sandwich which was to die for! This place is everything the reviews state great!! Plus just on my doorstep. The lady who served me was wonderful at her job and had auburn hair. Nothing was too much trouble. Only thing is at first they forgot my marshmallows and cream for my hot chocolate but this was quickly rectified. I will definitely be returning:D

This little place is friendly, warm and also serves up a great cup of coffee. The staff are great and also bakes in-house cakes, pastries, sandwiches and also paninis. Plenty of parking due to being next to a Tesco's and they also do a loyalty card which they are happily two stamp for you. Keep up the good work I just wish you were closer.

As a family we travel across Doncaster at least once a week to sample the delights at jimmys . We have done since stumbling across it some 18 months ago, all the staff are wonderful and serve up excellent coffee with smiles on their faces .wouldnt go anywhere else !

Well girls you ought to be proud of yourselves, its always nice to visit here , the girls are lovely and the surroundings are really nice, and so is the coffee . James would be so proud.

Jimmy Piggs serves a mean cup of coffee. I am from out of area, but have stopped off several times when passing through Edenthorpe. At first sight, from the outside it looks contemporary rather than timeless, and rightly or wrongly I would have expected a little less from a cafe perched next to a Tesco supermarket. Perhaps better not to judge a book by it's cover, though.

We have been a few times and always had good service and lovely food. It can get busy and sometimes the service can be a little bit slower but the staff are always polite and helpful🌟

I am a regular visitor here for lunch and have been 3 times in the last week. Today I took my freind on her first visit and as usual the food and drinks were spot on. The service however was poor. Yes it was busy but a number of people in the queue left before being served. We ordered Key lime pie and drinks and the receipt was timed at 12.58. The ladies next to us had ordered wraps before we had made our order . Both orders arive at 13.21 and i question the waiteress as to why it had taken so long?

enjoyed a late lunch at jimmy piggs sampling sandwiches made by the lovely yvette bread and fillings which were fresh and tasty and the delicous cakes made fresh on site daily. most other coffee shops fall well short of the high standards set by jimmy piggs. lovely staff and decor.
