The best restaurants in England

Mythos is the place to get Gyros in Leeds. 10/10 only wish I lived closer. Need one in town, maybe a pop up stool on Friday/Saturday nights on merrion street

A beautiful spot located in the heart of Essex. Plenty of seating outside, we made the most of the English summer sunshine and enjoyed a round of drinks. Plenty of parking available opposite the pub, it is easy to access. On our visit there was even a stunning British tank positioned at the front of the pub. There are lots of food options, however as we were just stopping for drinks, we ordered two rounds of chunky chips, which we would highly recommend. All staff are friendly, and being situated in the forest, the area is nice and quiet. Would highly recommend a visit and hope to return for longer next time to enjoy their food.

Absolutely lovely food, wish they would open somewhere where you could eat outside of the market opening hours.

Occasionally visit this country pub with great food as a convenient meeting point for family members from various directions. Booked lunch on Good Friday to find them short staffed and very busy. But a huge shout-out to the lady on duty who was serving drinks, taking table orders, running food and didn't stop smiling or apologising for any delays, even when we all ordered teas and coffees afterwards. Food was excellent and definitely recommend.

Most supportive community led takeaway - have donated generously for the staff at a local hospital - and the food is amazing

This is a brilliant neighbourhood boozer. If I lived in Bristol it would be my local. Fantastic well kept real ale sensible prices. We visited late on a Saturday evening and the place was full. Always a good sign.

This place within walking distance of a close relative, so when we visit about twice a year we usually have a dinner there. One again we were entirely satified and happy with our different meals , and the service and general hospitality were exemplary. I have other revues on here for previous visits

The service was great, but some issue with my partner having a burger without the actual burger in it!!! They were really good at sorting out a fresh meal and a complimentary drink, but it did mean we were eating out of sync.

Eleven of use enjoyed a great night catching up with some beers and food. All the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the food was delicious generous potions. Despite being eleven of us the food all came out together, hot and tasty. We shall definitely be back. Cheers.😁
