Great friendly place no food service free pool every day

This the best fish and chips in the area, absolutely outstanding.

Lovely food - fresh vegetable tart with home made pastry and ploughman’s with delicious traditional roast ham. Friendly staff, pleasant beer garden.

Hidden amongst a rural estate this place is beautiful. We were met with a handshake and made to feel very welcome. Dinner was fresh, seasonal and fragrant. We returned a few months later and Tim the chef remembered us! We enjoyed the most fantastic coffee and Danish for breakfast ❤️.

Great little coffee shop! Latte was lovely and the cake was nice too. This is a great place to enjoy coffee away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre

Cracking Chinese restaurant, really friendly service and massive portions.

Best place I've eaten out in a long time, highly recommend. Food was incredible, setting, stunning and the service went above and beyond.

Having now left Sunday lunch disappointed on two separate occasions we won’t be back. Food takes over 45 mins to come out. The roasts potatoes were barely cooked, the beef wellington was too far gone and the Yorkshire puddings were cremated. Washing it down with £9.50 a glass Prosecco seemed folly. Cannot recommend. Go to Tailors instead.

Lovely place. The menu is small but everything on it is solid, I had the compote and cream toast and the scrambled eggs, and tried other bites from my party and it seems like the whole selection is delicious. The staff are very friendly and attentive, they keep the drinks flowing, at no point did we have to flag anyone down. Hope to come again.

Had a lovely breakfast date with my toddler this morning. Food was delicious and the staff were lovely. We will be returning!

It was a beautiful pub but no longer with us

We got some food from here today and it was brilliant. The chips were really nice cooked perfectly and they weren't greasy. Fish sausages and chicken nuggets were enjoyed by all. Only slight complaint is that the cheese stuck to the paper so would have been better in a box. But highly recommend
