The best restaurants in England

What an outstanding selection of real ales, ciders and non alcoholic drinks. The staff are friendly and the venue is dog friendly inside and out. A highly recommended visit if you are a tourist or local. Great place!

Delicious seafood, best I've had in a while. Will certainly be coming back to try the rest of the menu.

The drinks machines are clearly broken. Literally warm, with no ice. I told 3 different members of staff this and was told wait a few minutes on 3 Separate occasions for the ice to be made! How long am I supposed to wait? I was there 30 minutes and no ice. No apologies and the lady with the glasses and tattoos didn’t even acknowledge me as she was too concerned about an order for uber that she had forgotten to add a milkshake too that she wasn’t paying any attention to me. The place was so dirty as well that I had to ask for my table to be cleaned. Really really bad

Was a superb restaurant, I met Anto before he opened , he was in Liverpool looking for a location and found Rodney st .. unfortunately it has had to close , not sure why , it's a shame , I hope they sort out the staff if wages are owed, sad to see a nice place close times are difficult..much bigger restaurants than this have closed there doors. Hope the staff find jobs , Anton I hope you are ok , it's a tuff time ,

Birthday lunch today. Last minute decision Family party of 6 and well behaved toddler. Great food and friendly atmosphere. Thank you Zoe for looking after us. We will be back

Didn't stay here but we did eat and use the pub for food, great service ( staff friendly)on both occasions and food excellent, unfortunately we are not around to sample the Sunday carvery but told by others it's great, cannot fault the food here it's fresh and comes out piping hot if we are this way again we will definitely be popping in

Had a fabulous Gin masterclass, Moses was amazing, really informative and great fun. It was really well paced and the food that followed was great, very recommended.

Best restaurant in Redhill, absolutely gutted it’s having to shut down. If there was a way to save this place then the locals 100% would have. Everyone loves a Dexters burger. Good luck!

Rude staff and poor customer service. The food wasn’t good and not worth the price. Wouldn’t recommend.

I like this place and the staff are lovely. But the menu is dull as dishwater. The food was well done but boring. And the main room needs some soft furnishings to absorb the noise - can’t hear yourself talk when it’s full
