What a brilliant little pub with some very good real ales . I tried the rhubarb cider . Very tasty and reasonable price. Barman was a laugh as well which makes for a friendly atmosphere. If your in Scarborough pop in its well worth a visit.

I didn’t rate food unless you believe there is a sandwich in every pint. Then they would get five stars. Holy cow, this place is awesome!! The beer selection is amazing but the staff are equally amazing! And the customers, so welcoming even to an American!!! Love this place, will always return when I’m in the area. Incredible!!

A tiny place but a big atmosphere. It's full most of the time for a reason. Great beers and friendly staff and customers. E only come for a week a year but the Stumble is one of out faves.

Cosy pub with an extensive variety of locally (Yorkshire) produced beers and ciders. Didn't eat, but saw the snacks looked good. Nice space outside for warmer weather. Dog friendly.

This is, in my opinion is the best real ale micro bar in Scarborough serviced on my visit on the 22nd of July 2021. The great range of real ales and ciders gave a CAMERA DISCOUNT Great owner, great clientele, lovely ambulance to this place, nice outdoor dring area, and 2 minutes from the train station 👍👍👍😁😁 Tuesday 25th July 2023 we agin were privileged to come to this magnificent real ale and real cider micro pub Nothing has changed since July 2021's visit. Friday 23rd August 2024 Yet again, this great Scarborough hand pumped real ale, and real cider pulled from the barrels was visited. This small friendly locals pub has an outdoor drinking area at the front. This pub always has a plethora of real ales and ciders on and has a big local following The toilets are twee and the pub is one of Scarboroughs essential visits for lovers of real ales and real ciders when in this seaside town 😀

What an outstanding selection of real ales, ciders and non alcoholic drinks. The staff are friendly and the venue is dog friendly inside and out. A highly recommended visit if you are a tourist or local. Great place!

Just walked for almost half a mile to what we thought could be a very good experience only to be turned away when entering because we had a child with us while being told 18 and over only. There was no sign outside stating this, as claimed by the bar person, nor is there any mention of this on the website. Very disappointed.

We enjoyed our visit to the stumble in ,the reason why is ,we can sit outside in the sun, or inside when the weather is a little inclement, also no sport or loud music .we can actually have a conversation. The staff are always pleasant 😊

Great drinks and good atmosphere

We’re local to the area and have tried this place maybe 5-6 times now, and each time are made to feel unwelcome and unimportant just because we don’t fit in with the clique which usually frequents this place. Shame really as it’s local to us, but in my opinion, there are much better places to go. The craft, the commercial and the tap and spile just to name a few.

Really good pub. We were sticking with the hand pump real ale which was bob on. Helpful and friendly staff. If I'm out in Scarborough again, I'll definitely be going back!

A little disappointed today having not been to the Stumble since before COVID, beer was average quality although choice was good. Maybe just a bad day but only 1 of our group of 8 really enjoyed their pints and 2 actually left some of theirs.

Very average place, on our visit recently,tables grubby, my pint sound but my mates was flat as heck.

Dreadful experience, on holiday and such an attidude when it was our first visit, & because they don't sell the same as a normal pub felt under pressure with chastising looks from the lady serving us even though there was no one behind us waiting to be served. Absolutely no patience or customer service. Will never come again even though we come to Scarborough often

Without doubt the best real and craft ale pub in Scarborough. Great selection of beers and snacks.

Love this small eclectic pub. They do not offer a food menu as such and don't really need too. The selection of beers and ciders is more than enough. Kegs are changed regularly so always something different being offered. The Stumble never fails to satisfy.

Loved the Stumble Inn when we visited on our hols in Scarbrough this week. Very clean and comfortable bar with great selection of beers. Lovely friendly bar staff and excellent service - would deffo recommend x

Great atmosphere, fantastic welcome and incredible range of beer (& cider, if that is your tipple). Best pub in Scarborough and handy for the train station. Michelle, is no longer there but the same great beer and service continues.

It's a while since I've been in due covid and not wanting to be in a small environment. Today it was quite sp tried it out. It was a regular visit on a Friday night for us and a few things have changed. There is a wider choice of drinks and more seating outside. The only thing that hasn't changed is the welcome. Different staff and I think different owners same atmosphere as before. A chance to speak with strangers with a similar taste for Real ales. An hour and a half well spent. Need to go again.. N o change. Same atmosphere and ever changing ages.

This is a delightful pub, serving an extensive range of real ales. A real find. Do make the effort, as it's only 8 minutes from the centre.

Worth the trudge from the Railway Station, looking anxiously on Google Maps. Lovely friendly place with great beers etc.

Lovely place, nice beer, prices..........most expensive pint along this area of the coast. Spoke the 3 old lads who avoid drinking at Robin Hoods bay due to overpriced drinks. They aren't wrong. It's a shame

The staff couldn't have been more helpful or friendly. Dog even got a biscuit. The only down side, for me, all of the cider is still.

Lovely small little inn selling a variety of real ales & gins. Everyone was really friendly (staff & customers) The toilet was lovely and clean and I would highly recommend this place when in Scarborough.

Brilliant place, lots of cider, most of it the sweeter stuff which I'm not keen on. But they are on the Real Ale Finder app, so check before you visit. Nice pint of Hecks Farmhouse Dry and lovely service and prices. So can't give them any less than 5 stars despite wishing they did more dry stuff.

A very nice pint of Snails Bank dry cider. I was less impressed to find that they have started playing musac.

We try to pop in here when we visit our daughter who lives on Scarborough. Called in Xmas Eve and as always a very warm welcome great atmosphere, barmaid recommended beers and ciders for us and we had a lovely chat with the people whose table we ended up sitting with as it was very busy, another great plus for us is that it is dog friendly! So will always call in again when we don't have to drive..

What a diamond of a micro bar! So welcoming from the moment we walked through the door. We were greeted by a really friendly bar maid. When we approached the bar we were asked what sort of beer we liked and given tasters before we made our choices and pointed in the direction what she recommended to our tastes. Sitting there everyone was full of smiles and it just felt so comfortable to be in there. There was a fabulous selection of gins also heroing local products which is great to see. The walls were donned with the beer labels along with facts about beer making, gin and vodka history. When leaving we had a lovely goodbye and an invite to cheese board Sunday. This pub is a must if you like ales. Can't wait to go back next time we are up from Birmingham. Yes it's a local pub... but not just for local people 😀
