We had the most wonderful day at the Bull. We popped in for a a pre walk pint before waking and had a table booked for ten people later in the day. The whole experience was top notch. The land lady and her amazing team couldn’t have done any more. Great food and drinks in a proper country pub. Hope to return some time.

Great pub. Good beers. Very polite and attentive staff.

Lovely little pub off the main road. Very quiet location which was ideal for us. Food and drink was excellent as was the friendly service. Even had the resident duck come and say hello. Good parking and plenty of tables. Very clean and tidy. Only downside was that it’s a dog friendly pub, which I have no problem with,so it whiffed a bit inside. Need for air fresheners for the nose blind.

Absolutely first rate. Amazing food, stunning location and a building straight out of a picture postcard. Do not miss a chance to eat here.

Food was good, great staff, beautiful surroundings and pub garden. Only real negative was children's play area is years past its best and a borderline death trap.

Not impressed! Overpriced with dishonest descriptions on menu such as ‘extra mature’ cheese which was a triangle of mild cheese with dried edges where it wasn’t wrapped properly! And ‘chutney’ when it was clearly jar pickle and not of any brand name Not worth the special trip out that’s for sure.

Very welcoming, snappy service, tasty food. Excellent position for a walk or bike ride around Bewl Water.

A delightful country pub that we visited for dinner with family members travelling from across the country. Location was great, easy to get to, idyllic but felt you were out in the countryside. Food and service was excellent and they don’t mess about when they say their burgers are large! Loved that the apples for the apple juice can from the orchard the. Ext field over! Heartily recommend and would definitely visit again!

First visit drinks and service was brilliant. Food really mediocre....I ordered mint kebabs with greek salad....2 small kebabs..salad was not very greek!! Partner had chicken burger...distinct lack of chicken!! Fries nice...but massively over price for small dry portions. Won't go here to eat again unfortunately.

We had a family birthday meal, and the staff could not have taken better care of us. The food was super; belly pork, classic fish n chips, dressed crab salad... all delicious and fresh, crispy batter, and the best rhubarb ice cream ever. The team were so welcoming, making the party feel very special.

Just been for a birthday lunch with 30 people. Everyone was talking about how good the food was, and how beautiful the pub is. The service stood out - it was excellent. The staff were super helpful, and kept presents and birthday cake safe for us until they were needed. The staff were really welcoming and friendly - they made a really good lunch really special

The Hugo Boss man was too sweet. Try the eyes of the sun, incredible! You could hear the sea over the food sun 🤼‍♀️

Quiet location with attractive outside seating. Friendly welcome from staff at this traditional country Inn. Good menu.

Lunch with friends. Menu limited, portions small, food "adequate" cost high, value for money = low.... finishing with a mandatory added fixed Service Charge, and really, for what?...do they not pay their staff?! First and last visit.

Our waitress Shannon was fantastic. Would definitely recommend the pub to anyone visiting the local area. The food was outstanding and the pubs interior is amazing with a lot of history surrounding it.

Beautiful country pub, with open log fires and lovely charm. They do doggy dinners which our pooch licked the bowl clean. The food is delicious and portion quantities are good value for money. Highly recommend.
