Will's Bakery & Cafe in Rother

We were cycling in the area, and called in for food and a coffee, we had very good service, the staff are very friendly, worth a visit.

The best combination of food and staff you could wish for.

Came across this place and stopped in for a bite to eat, and what a treat! Lovely beautiful quality food, great service and good value. It's a small cosey coffee shop and mainly takeaway. It was the perfect pit stop for us.

Used Will's bakery a few months ago, so popped back today as we were in the area. The sandwiches are great, freshly made, with lovely fresh bread, and decent portion size too. Well worth a trip.

Stop off point on a walk Coffee cake and sausage roll. Quick friendly service and excellent food. Not forgetting the bread pudding

Just had one of the best brie and cranberry panini's ever. Very fresh and with a great latte too. Superb for lunchtime snacks. Highly recommended.

Lovely and welcoming village bakery - delicious paninis and the staff make you feel SO welcome with dogs ❤️ it’s a lovely place for sitting in and taking away, great warm friendly atmosphere. Would definitely recommend to people near and far!

Pastries and cakes that we had were superb, especially the Polish cake, and the service was next level. Will be back as often as possible!

Very large rolls, great fillings, and almost too much, good value.

We went here on a Saturday afternoon, the cafe was closed but the bakery was open. We bought a mixture of sweet and savoury things. I loved the scotch egg, I will be getting more next time we go. My wife had a sausage roll and was also satisfied with the taste. A couple of the cakes were not to our liking, but the others were OK.

Bought a loaf of Walnut sourdough. It did not have the appearance or texture of sourdough. Threw it in the bin.

My family and I always come into Will’s Bakery when we are in town. They have the best service with the most friendly workers, fantastic pastries, and best coffee. This place is a gem!

I didn't had anything to eat or drink. But a hello or welcome would be Nice. We were suppose to sit on the terrace and wanted to order inside but this was not possible and the prices(had to take the menu myself) were totally different than inside. I had a kind of business myself and treated people on a friendly way. Sorry...you won't see me again. Maybe the food is good but i like to start my lunch with a friendly face.

Lunch was delicious would highly recommend a stop here as so much variety 😋

Not sure if Will exists, but this is a lovely little cafe with very fresh cakes, good coffee and friendly staff. Limited seating inside and out.

Horrible people very snotty attitude from the staff especially the older lady. Wouldn’t bother.

Dog friendly and lovely food and stuff

Lovely, dog friendly cafe with excellent food and service. Would definitely recommend visiting if you're in the area (particularly for the breakfast sandwiches and carrot cake !!)

Very good food, only complaint is the bacon quiche was full of bacon fat.

Great selection of fine foods from their deli and café. Only issue is choosing which to have! Friendly staff too. Good place to get gifts for family and friends to take when visiting.

Great cafe, love the cakes but Everytime I go in there the staff don’t smile! They don’t allow you much time to decide on what you fancy. Food I choose is always delicious. It’s a pricey cafe but food is great. Just a shame the staff let it down - come on smile it’s a local bakery to many of us.

Great quiche at Wills. Perfect texture and bake. A good lunch before we picked our cherries half a mile away.

Absolutely lovely. I don't get the bad reviews based on price.. we had a lovely breakfast and thought it was very good value for money. The granola was absolutely wonderful! I'm not local but will be back

Came here for breakfast - really great quality sandwiches for reasonable price. Ginger bread men were top tier. Would definitely come back next time in the area :)

What a find.! The fresh fruit custard tart was out of this world. Dont buy them. As we want them all. Lovely coffee too

Best Bakery Ever! Sat in the new cafe, quick service, friendly atmosphere. Food was to die for, all freshly made to order, tasted amazing. Couldn't fault anything. 10/10. Can't wait to go back. 😁

The seating area is currently undergoing renovation /maintenance, hopefully this will include improved ventilation and extraction. Good and coffee we're excellent.

The produce here is all of a high quality. They make their own scotch eggs and much more all tasting absolutely wonderful.

Just had lunch here and although the service was nice and friendly the food was not worth the high price! My daughter had a tomato and cucumber sandwich with crisps and a hot chocolate £6!! My panini was a little over done and the bacon n brie were bland I could barely taste the contents and I asked for a caramel latte and got a plain latte it was so bitter I poured it away my husband's £1 croissant was the only highlight of our visit I wouldn't recommend but sadly not really anywhere else to go for food nearby

Not the cheapest by a countrymile but a valued lunch stop when working out in the sticks. Staff always friendly and not averse to a giggle.

What a great bakers. The staff are polite and attentive and as for the scotch eggs, oh my. Not are they really large they are truly delicious, what a great treat.

Lovely little bakery , bacon tasted like rubber, and egg was under cooked , and the assistant/ owner seemed bothered, i paid by debit card , not cash !

We were served by an immensely helpful lady and ordered a Scotch Egg, Sausage Roll, Sandwich, and two coffees. Great service, wonderful food. Everyone kept to social distancing in these difficult times and the main door was left open. Thank you, hope to return soon

Absolutely wonderful. Food amazing and the staff are always a delight. We've recently had a baby and the staff always enquire as to how we are. Can't fault them at all.

Beautiful food here. Had the best quiche I've ever tasted, worthy of master chef! Light crispy thin base (not easy) and a stunning Stilton and broccoli filling that had the perfect consistency and actually tasted of cheese, unlike so many quiches. Stunning Scotch egg and bread pudding, superb tea.Great staff.My favorite cafe.

This really is a great bakery with the added benefit of a sit down cafe, with some lovely food.

A really nice place with very friendly staff and the cake servings were crazy huge! We had a nice quiche with side salad and cake and which fueled us for the rest of our cycle ride.
