The best restaurants in England

Great sports bar. Stopped for a coffee while on a walk around Hockley, my first time seeing inside this historic landmark. Friendly staff, unusual layout inside. Large bar and lots of TV screens for your football. Pool table and possibly an area where you could have a private function.

Live music on a Friday night, great selection of beers, clean and friendly

One of the best Thai restaurants ive attended... Excellent portions, very good quality and excellent service..

We hired the pool for an hour which I thought was at a reasonable price . It was heated and having it to ourselves was brilliant as we had a toddler with us had coffee and a cake afterwards which were delicious and fairly priced all in all a 5 star experience

Had a private party here, was very welcoming and had the best time. Highly reckoned to people. Really enjoyed!!!

Great Cafe', great whole hearted food with generous portions, cooked by a great Italian Chef all served by lovely staff. I been coming here since mid 1990's when visiting family. Great stuff . . . Regards Rik 😊

Dog friendly café w/ outstanding vegan breakfast!

This place is the mutts nuts, wanted a really good steak as only have Miller and Carter in my local area. Waiter really attentive and steak was perfect, will be back when in the area for sure

The food was tasty but the table was too small to be comfortable. we were a party of 4. we had 3 things each as advised and just 3 desserts, given that we had a total Of 6 drinks,2 of which were soft, with a 10% service charge added for just 4 people. The overall bill was expensive, Over £40 per person which for 3 small plates wasn’t worth it. Can’t recommend.

Always excellent food and great staff, friendly atmosphere. One of my favourite places to eat.

Fantastic cafe, food always lovely and hot, staff really friendly, great atmosphere. A real gem with consistently great quality food; rare to find these days!

Brought a chippy from here. Food was stale and cold and fish was undercooked . Service was rubbish as I asked for salt and vinegar and when they didn’t put it on I asked for it but the woman rolled her eyes and ignored me. Worst chippy on the high street if you’re looking to waste your money on rubbish food this is the perfect place for you.

The best gluten free and regular pasties you will eat! The staff are so friendly and always have a smile on their face.
