Always a lovely experience here, great service and food . My hubby goes for Dhansak which he always loves and I go for the Chicken Naga as I like very spicy food. Food always tastes fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

Popped in after work for dinner and catch up with a friend. The staff were very attentive. I managed to pre order the wrong meal via my friend and even though it was my error, they still replaced it with my choice without me asking. Absolutely stunning meal this evening for banqueting.

The Wednesday banquet was perfect with a wide range of options to choose from. The food was delicious and all of the staff were very attentive. Would recommend the tandoori chicken and fish!

really disappointed with the quality of the food we experienced on Saturday 26th Oct, especially after hearing some good reviews. we had 2 chicken based main dishes and for both the chicken was well overcooked and dry. Delivery service was the best part, very speedy and efficient.

The best Indian food I’ve had in as long as I can remember. Incredibly well cooked, presented and with amazingly deep and complex flavor. Clearly they are using top end produce and ingredients. This is reflected in the price, but in my view absolutely worth it. Well done guys! A memorable dining experience that was way above my expectation 👏

Amazing food and excellent service! Huge menu.

Decided on an evening Take Away and did'nt regret a single moment of it! Opted for one chicken shashlik and one chicken biryani with accompanying side salad, it really does'nt get more delicious than this! From excellent customer service courtesy of Masood to a hot delivery within 30 minutes, you don'yt have to look anywhere else for your Indian food as no one in my long experience does it better! Oh and as portion sizes are so generous, there's always the next day to have a second helping, I'll be back for more very soon!

It has been as long while since we visited the Royal Tandoori in Whyteleafe and was pleasantly surprised. It was a different menu that had plenty to offer with all the familiar choices but also some new and very interesting dishes. Both my wife and I had lamb main’s which were both excellent. The lamb was very soft and actually tasted of lamb accompanied by some great spices and flavours. I had the trio of chicken to start, and again the meat was very succulent and well flavoured. The service was excellent from start to finish and can say that we were very well looked after. As you will see from my other reviews I like to make a balanced overview of each place and think the Royal Tandoori has put itself in the bracket of “higher end” dining. It’s not fine dining and the prices of the dishes take it out of the standard curry house to go if you are with your mates and want to soak up 15 pints. I think we are quite lucky in the Caterham/Whyteleafe area to have a few very good Asian restaurants and this is certainly one of them.

Lovely warm welcome as i arrived. Staff are very attentive but not in your face Food was very good. I’m lucky enough to have been to India many times. This is authentic Indian food with authentic service. It’s all in the service You can have the best food in the world however it’s served with a miserable face then it totally saddens the experience. This cannot be said of here Would definitely come back

We had a wonderful meal here on a Friday night. The dishes were excellent from the popadoms through to the mains. Everything was fresh and the staff were friendly and couldn’t have done more to make our evening a pleasant experience.

Absolutely love the curry from here, I’ve tried lots of curry houses in the area and this one is the best by far. The prawn dansak is a must try. They’re also very friendly, Massoud - thank you! Highly recommend. Just updating my review, it’s been a few months now since I left the above and we are still really enjoying our Royal Tandoori curry’s.

My go to local curry house, can't go wrong. Prices have risen quite substantially over the recent years so visits here have thus reduced. Was surprised when ordering from the banquet menu today and asked for tap water we had to order drinks..

I have to say, that being a loyal to the Selsdon branch, this is the first time I've been to the Whyteleafe restaurant and just Wow 👌. The food is simply amazing, the chef's take on the dishes is simply amazing. Areeb has clearly formulated the ethos in both restaurants, with slightly different twists in the dishes. Truly well done. To get one restaurant right is a feit, but to get both is truly genius. Well done, and I'll be back again.
