Food was cold and tasted like a microwave meal

The delivered driver was really polite and the food was nice and hot also tasted very nice we really enjoyed our food thank you

delived to a different address then kept calling say the order is ready when an hour later they bought the original order that had to be sent back due to being cold

I was extreamely disappointed with my order. The onion bahjis were dripping with oil and not at all crispy, chicken was over cooked and sauce was greasy, naan and chapati seemed as if they were reheated instead of cooked fresh. Normally a regular customer but dont think i will be ordering anymore

Most of the chicken was dry. The rice wasn't fluffy or moist. The Onion Bhajis were doughy. The naans were dry and flavourless. Everything was well below par. Curry sauces were lumpy and not smooth like they once were. I'd say avoid this place like the plague. Nothing like their former glory at all.

We had a nice time at the Lingfield tandoori. It was early in the evening, so it was relatively quiet. The food is delicious and some different dishes to try here.

Great service, and they go out of their way to accommodate the customer. They made me special Indian spicy tea and sag paneer with Indian cheese.

Waited a ridiculously long amount of time for food to be delivered. When it arrived the quality was no where near as good as it had previously been. Very disappointed with this purchase.

Lovely restaurant. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The food was exceptional, between four of us we tried quite a few different dishes and all of them were delicious. We will definitely be back!

It was marked as delivered on the app 30 minutes before it arrived and it was all stone cold !

Very Indian experience in all the positive ways!

I had to ring the restaurant. I was told they had the wrong telephone number and it was the reason the delivery was not made and then he told me my number!! The prawn korma tasted nice but was the most tiniest prawns it was hard to find them. We ordered for delivery at 8.45 and didn't receive the order until 10pm. Will not be ordering from them again 😔

Lingfield tandoori used to be our go to curry house but the last few orders have been cold and stale. The korma sauce is thin and watery and the dansak is as hot as a madras. The last order was the last chance, we will be ordering from somewhere else in the future. It used to be so delicious and has changed for the worse.

Great food. Great service. Specially the waiting staff Abdullah Mamun provided really friendly and great service.

Naga chicken hot hot 🔥 We came as a family celebration tonight food and service was top notch.the naga chicken was delicious and so hot.lamb patia was made hotter for us and every element of our meal was delicious.service was great not intrusive but relaxed.would visit again and recommend to anyone who loves Indian food

Very good food. I was with a group of friends we all had something different and we all liked the food very much. The portions were generous and we had a very nice meal.

This was the first time I’d ordered from here for takeaway having previously used another curry house in Lingfield. The chicken shaslik was really good, the chicken was delicious and moist. It arrived on time and hot. Would definitely recommend and will using them in future.

I ordered a takeaway and it got delivered in time however the Chicken paneer and minty sauce tasted oily. Very disappointing as this isn’t the cheapest restaurant.

Fantastic food combined with great service. Good choices for a vegetarian celiac, and all reasonably priced. Would highly recommend it.

We ate here this evening, the last night of a short stay locally. Lingfield has three Indian restaurants and several others within short driving distance. We chose Lingfield Tandoori as the reviews were decent and the restaurant looked welcoming from outside. The dishes we ordered were very good. Decent portion sizes and reasonably priced. The chicken was tender and the spicing just right. Recommended

Food arrived about 15 mins early and was piping hot, have been using another restaurant for a long time and thought we would give Lingfield Tandoori a try and have to say I will definitely be ordering from them again as the food was really tasty and quick to get to us.

Stopped by for a late Sunday evening snack after work. The food was fabulous quick and so fresh. Onion Bhajis were super fresh and light, the Nan bread was the nicest and freshest I’ve ever had. Light crispy and just very tasty. Pop in if your near Lingfield.

I reviewed the Lingfield Tandoori in 2018 and vowed not to return. However, went there with some friends in February 2023 (2 families) and the food and service was superb….new chef or management? Not sure but well worth a visit. Does this mean that Lingfield Tirana is now relegated to 3rd position in the village!?

Authentic healthy fresh food. We take away for a treat but you can eat in. Lovely staff who are very helpful.

I have dietary issues and had made calls to several restaurants to see if there was anything on their menus that I could eat. No-one could help. Finally I rung the Lingfield Tandoori, which was a little further away. Not only did they deliver the food to us, but they were kind enough to cook me my own personal delicious curry which was free of the ingredients I am unable to eat. Since I have developed food intolerances, it has been so hard to eat out. This restaurant went over and above the call of duty to help me out. I cannot praise them enough. The man on the phone was so helpful and the curry he cooked me was delicious. Everyone tried some. Thank you! Thank you! thank you!

Fantastic food! Samosas both varieties were delicious and light. Butterfly prawns simply divine and chicken pathia amazing No leftovers- we scoffed it all!

Phenomenal service by san and a lovely meal My husband and I walked in off the street for a quick dinner, and the waiters welcomed us warmly as soon as we walked in. Even though the decor felt tired but the atmosphere was pleasant and friendly. The food was as good as the service. Quick but not rushed. The price was very affordable 73 dollars for 3 drinks 2 big meals a starter and a glass of yummy wine that San brought me a taste of so I could decide if I liked it. My husband and I have been on vacation to Barcelona, Paris, and now London, and hands down these are the best services we have had on vacation

Tasted microwaved after the restaurant forgot the order - we had to call to find out where it was. Over 45 mins late, so over 1hr 30m from when ordered it showed up. Tikka masala was overly tomato flavoured. Chicken was chewy - like when microwaved. Peshwari naan was a bit dry. Poppadoms and rice ok. Veg Samosa was nice but all in all, won’t be ordering from here again - a shame as some years back it was the best around

Food was 30 minutes late keeping ringing restaurants and they wouldn't answer the phone at all and 2 1/2 hour wait

Pushed collection time back, then said it was ready 5 mins early but when we went to collect it in the actual collection time it still wasn't ready. When we got the food home samosas were fridge/freezer cold, not even luke warm but actually cold to touch and felt rock hard like still frozen. Curries weren't very hot although did taste OK. Rice was luke warm. Poppadoms chewy and weird, clearly stale. Onion bhajis were OK but not much flavour. Very disappointed.

Ordered with a delivery time of 45-60 mins at 19:45, then got sent an estimated delivery time of 21:15-21:35, chased at 21:45 and food finally arrived at 22:00, naan breads and the chicken/lamb in the curries tasted a bit tough - like it had been sat on a hot plate for a while before delivery. No apology received. We usually always have good service and enjoy the food here, but not tonight!

Visited the restaurant last week while staying nearby before a flight out of Gatwick. Ordered the Set Meal and it was very enjoyable. Food was tasty, hot and flavorful. Service was good.

Had food from here over 50 times and not once have I been let down. Friendly staff,great food. Very clean and modern inside.

When the food arrived it was barely warm. This was very surprising being that the restaurant is really quite close. The keema rice was sadly lacking in keema as was the garlic and onion Nan bread lacking in garlic and onion. The onion bhaji was almost hollow with the outside disintegrating into crumbs when pierced with a fork.

Great service, really really helpful, I made a request, the chef called me just to clarify exactly what it was I wanted and then did it. Food was amazing highly recommend

Amazing curry best in Lingfield

We ate here on Friday evening for a small family meal. The food was excellent. The service was great and we would certainly eat here again. So glad that we ignored the negative reviews. Many thanks to all the staff that made this a most memorable meal.

As always, the food was of excellent quality, delivered hot and earlier than expected (and free delivery). Good value and will always use Lingfield Tandoori for our curry needs !

Yet again reheated food , sick of paying these clowns good money for sub standard food . You have been warned , 2 far better restaurants seconds away .

I'm thoroughly mystified by all the rave reviews for this place, I can only assume we're in some kind of bizarre parallel universe scenario. I hate to slate a small independent business, but this was the worst Indian food I've eaten - I've had not very good Indian, mediocre Indian, and sub par Indian, but I have never put the food into the bin before. The sag paneer was just.... Weird. All the paneer and spinach was blended, instead of having cubes of paneer sitting in green spinach. Somehow it was yellow, and tasted so sweet it was inedible. It basically wasn't sag paneer, I don't know what was going on with it. The dal was equally as weird and bad. It looked and tasted like leftover tinned vegetable soup. But sweet, again. Why so sweet?? I don't understand. Our main courses were a bit better, we ate my them because if we hadn't we wouldn't have had anything to eat, but they were mostly sauce - and they were bland, we had to ADD seasoning. The main flavours were onion, lots and lots of onion, and syrupy sweetness, and very little spicing. Overall this was just so disappointing. I guess a lot of people must like their food like this for some reason, it's a totally mystery to me though. Positives - friendly service when we ordered and collected, and the food was ready exactly when they said it would be. They seem like nice people, but I couldn't reccomend eating here if you're used to good Indian food, sorry.

Tandoori Chicken was dry like it had been reheated, Vindaloo was nice but wont use again because the tandoori chicken is my fav and feel the meal was ruined because it was just too dry.

1st time trying this "NEW" Indian for us. Went in right when they opened. First people there. Asked politely for a quiet table, they sat us next to the kitchen door with literally no one else in the place. Could have easily sat us in th upper back section. Anyway................. gave our rink order and food order with appetizers. A family came in with two small children,. they were seated right across from us. As soon as they sat down the children began running around and screamng loud. Anyway the new family got their drinks 10 minutes before we did . Finally we got our drinks and appetizers. Onion Bajies were small but tasted ok. Main course seemed to take forever. Again only 1 other table there.. Food was ok portions a bit small but tasted ok. Staff could have been more friendly and lively. Prices were fair. If this restuarant would look at reviews and implement some of the suggestions they could be much better. 1; Need to be more attentive to dine in clientele 2; a friendly greeting and a smile og a long way! 3: Mass Rapido!!!! go much faster.Took way to long to get anything!!

worst takeaway i ever had.Chicken didn’t taste fresh at all the chicken tasted rock hard.The potatoes was like slop and horrible.

Food was good when it finally arrived but we were starving having waited over an hour and half for our meals on Saturday night, service was slow and they did not care about the customers in the restaurant or that we waited or that we were unhappy, only interested in take away service and Deliveroo! I would not return nor recommend unless you wanted a home delivery.

Two hour wait for food ! They clearly priorities take out food over the customers sat in he restaurant. Definitely won’t be returning.

Always good food from the Lingfield Tandoori

This place is the absolute doggy's doodahs. Best curry house in the area. Forget the one across the road, load of rubbish, go here instead. The Massala Jalfrezi dish is not from this world and deserves an award. The waiters, Sen especially, are all very friendly and the service is quick and efficient. I'd give more stars if I could.

Charming local Indian restaurant. Fantastic service even though we simply went in for a takeaway. The waiter went out of his way to make us feel welcome and even offered us drinks while we waited.

Ordered at 7.40pm. Arrived 9.53pm. Never order on a raceday!! Food lovely as always.

I was told 45mins for delivery, which took 2.5 hours to arrive. Food was stone cold, bland, overpriced (only 4 pieces of chicken in an £11 chefs special). Arrived without Papadams and staff hung up the phone when I asked for a delivery update. Avoid!

My husband, myself and our baby were here yesterday to celebrate our anniversary. The staff are very polite and friendly. They were lovely to our baby :). The food was served on time, piping hot and tasty. We didn't like one dish but that's just down to personal taste. All the other food we had was just perfect. The desserts were great too. We will definitely eat here again.

Chicken takeaway masala was very tomato flavour no spice, normally is much red in colour an more tasty

Ordered the same as had done previously this time the garlic chicken was made so much hotter then my previous few order we were unable to eat it so was wasted money.

Frankly mediocre. We had a tepas for 4 people to take away and we were all very disappointed.

Driver didnt find us easly and it wasnt hot hot. But thats all. It tast ok. Nothing can be helped but driver didnt really understand what i said how to get to my house so bit annoring but will order again tho
