You will not be Disappointed in this place, it looks like a little place but it does have a upstairs. Excellent customer service and the food is fantastic and comes out pretty quickly. Well done guys 👏

What a lovely evening. The staff couldn't do enough for us. The manager made time to ensure we had a excellent dining experience. If you haven't tried El Toros yet please do, you won't be disappointed.

Great place, all you can eat tapas very good value, friendly staff and would visit again.

Although we don’t live nearby anymore, it’s always nice to return when in the area. Always consistent with some extremely authentic dishes. The wine choice also compliments the menu well.

Lovely restaurant, however food is overpriced and average. Met for a business meal on a Tuesday early evening, 3 staff tried to take our dishes in the space of 5 minutes before we had finished, was asked if we wanted the bill and hadn’t even ordered our deserts.

Food all came out together ,thought it was a tapas. Music was like a disco not appropriate for Sunday lunchtime

El Toro, well I really can't fault the place, food, staff, the whole evening was fantastic. The all you can eat Tapas was incredible and it's the whole menu not just the cheaper options or "Chef's specials" all in all great value we will definitely be returning.

Meh is all I can say. I’ve been here twice now a few years apart and had a similar experience both times. Some of the staff weren’t trained, felt like there was one man doing most jobs. Decor isn’t really in keeping with the theme and the menu wasn’t explained. Tapas is probably the one time you’d appreciate a ‘have you been here before?’ Followed by a brief explanation. Would appreciate staff not disappearing / disengaging when no more service is required and you’d like to pay the bill. But this happens almost everywhere.

Fab food, fab atmosphere and fab staff. Plenty of choice on the menu to suit all. Would recommend and will definitely return soon.

Great service, below average food. The vegetable pasta was made with frozen peas and carrots, and was very soggy and overdone. But the other dishes were nice and the cocktails were good.

Usual pricing for tapas (overpriced in comparison to other cuisine), vegetarian dishes were tasty but meat dishes left more flavour to be desired for. Cocktails were a good size but require more alcohol to balance the taste. Staff were friendly and service was prompt, however I wasn’t dissatisfied to find an assumed 10% tip added to the bill in the form of a ‘service charge’.

Absolutely fantastic food. I've been in a few Spanish cuisine restaurants in the area and this one is far best. Everything's so fresh! And tasty of course. Will be coming back!

On an irregularly busy festive Monday night (18th Dec 2023) me and my wife were greeted and seated at the bar immediately by the friendly Leo, Dil and their colleague (we didn't get to ask her name as she was serving a different section of the wonderful restaurant). We were given the chance almost instantaneously to order drinks of which we both had cocktails. A Bahama Mama for myself and a Blueberry and Passionfruit Martini for my wife. She politely asked to swap out the gin for vodka which came as no trouble at all for Leo who then momentarily gave us a theatrical mixology show. Our table was ready moments later for us to start devouring their all you can eat tapas menu... The food? Wow. "Value for money" as an overall summary doesn't even come close. The speed of service for each round and quality of the food accompanied with smiles and humourous anecdotes from Leo was phenomenal. Bare in mind that this standard was delivered all the while being what seemed at capacity for 2015hrs and the 1hr45 thereafter. With an Xmas party table of about 15 and other various numbers of hungry, thankful diners filling the place and receiving the same level of thoughtful yet urgent service, I tip my hat to you all. Nothing was too much. Regular check backs. Recommendations of their own personal favs from the extensive, beautifully crafted list of generously portioned tapas. The attentiveness. Just freakin' awesome. Especially the San Miguel battered, Argentinian prawns of which I had 4 rounds of during the barrage of plates being brought to our table. I wish we had taken some photos to add to this review. Go and try. See, taste and lavish in the experience for yourselves. We shall be back. Thank you for making our evening a memorable one. Have been here a few times, food is always amazing, never had a bad meal. All the staff are so lovely and welcoming especially Saffa, he always goes above and beyond which makes the experience even better.

I'd definately suggest the lamb dishes and the sangria. Best to go with friends just to get the full experience.

We visited on Sunday evening for a birthday dinner, all you can eat for £25, absolute bargain. Visited this restaurant 4or5 times in the last couple of years, just love it, shame we don't live closer or we would go more often...

Our first visit to El Toro on Saturday but definitely not our last! every single dish we ordered was delicious and portions were very generous. All the staff were amazing, going above and beyond to make sure we were happy. They were very attentive and made us all feel welcome. My birthday was made extra special and definitely memorable. I cannot wait for our next visit, El Toro is definitely a go to for all our future celebrations.

Visited on a Thursday night after recommendation from a work colleague. Why haven’t we been here before ? 🙄 The tapas chosen from a good selection was excellent and the portion sizes were just right. We had excellent service from the 2 staff on duty that night. Nice decor with good background music created an atmosphere which was necessary as there were not many diners. We will be back with friends soon!

Four of us visited El Toro while on holiday and it is the best Tapas restaurant we have ever visited. The food was fantastic, 12 dishes all perfectly cooked, and nothing left, the staff were friendly and attentive, we would 100% re-visit if the area again. Also they had a power cut just before we were ready to leave so they could not take our payment but they just took my phone number down and allowed us to leave without payment, no fuss or pressure, and of course we paid over the phone the following day :) Highly recommended.

If you want to top quality, authentic Spanish tapas, then look no further. An extensive list of tapas which deliver a true taste of Spain. The lambs liver and mixed Paella where particularly good.

We visited as a family to have a long awaited catch-up, so made sure we booked online as was expecting it to be busy on a weekend... When we arrived, we were greeted promptly and cheerfully which is always a good start! We were shown to our table upstairs where there was no one else around, but we still had to wait a while for a drinks order to be taken after we were seated. Our food order was taken quite a while after... at this point there was a few more tables sat but the place was still far from full to justify the wait. Most of the food we ordered was lovely, but there was a few plates there were overcooked so chewy and/or dry. Also where we was sat felt quite drafty and therefore cold which wasn't ideal or comfortable. Overall, we had a nice night but not sure we would be in a hurry to return anytime soon.

What a hidden little gem! Our first visit, we were welcomed warmly and this was maintained throughout with the attentive and attentive staff! Food was delicious, plentiful and wonderfully presented! We will definitely be back!!!

This place was recommended to us, but I'm afraid I can't see why. My cocktail was really not good, which should have rang alarm bells. Food wasn't any improvement. Potatoes looked like they'd been hanging around for some time and suspect they had been cooked more than once...very unappealing. The rest was lukewarm and greasy. Sorry guys, we won't be coming back. Staff were pleasant, but the whole experience wasn't worth the money and definitely not worth the calories. 🤮🤢

First time at a Spanish tapas restaurant. This was Eat As Much As You Like for £21.95. You order 2 plates each at a time and have to finish them in order to have more (so if you wanted chips or a salad on the side you couldn't as you had to eat them up first!). Ordered the paella which actually turned out to be microwaved Uncle Ben's rice with a piece of chicken thrown in. Nothing 'paella' about it. That was a turn off for me and didn't find the rest of the dishes particularly Spanish. The service was slow and I wasn't asked if I wanted another drink. El Toro is a nice little restuarant that is easy to find in Bawtry. On our visit it felt a little like the front of house department was understaffed for the day (Bawtry had its Christmas market and it was very busy). When we booked the buffet we did so as it had a variety of Gluten free options. On the morning of the booking we received a call stating that the buffet wasn't on however we could have the normal or festive set menus. We enquired about the variety of Gluten free options on these and were assured there were still plenty. When we arrived we were solely offered the festive set menu which was fine with us - however the options for the starter were just garlic bread or garlic bread with cheese and churros for dessert. We were told we could pick something gluten free from the normal menu instead as they didn't do gluten free garlic bread. Additionally we were told that we would be informed of the gluten free choices when ordering dessert too. I picked chorizo for my starter and when it came it was lovely. All the food was great and the time it arrived was super quick to say how busy they were. The only delays we seemed to face were because the front of house staff seemed to be struggling to get to all of the tables with only 3 of them on, and not for lack of trying on their part. We had to wait quite a while to order our dessert and after asking what the gluten free options were we had to wait a further 15 minutes for someone to tell us what they were. When the waiter did tell us the choice - which was vanilla ice cream - I said that's fine thank you and she said it's ready now they've already done it for you (I'm assuming that vanilla ice cream was THE ONLY choice) . When the bill came we had been charged for 2 festive set menus as well as an additional chorizo starter. When I queried this I was told that I shouldn't have been allowed to have that starter as it's not included. When I said I wasn't informed that there was specific things I could and couldn't have and was led to believe that it was just a straight swap I was told "just leave it we have taken it off the bill for you" whilst I think this abrupt reply may have been more to do with language barrier than anything else I do think that there should be a set practise in place for dealing with menu ammendments for dietary requirements and clearer communication between the waiting staff. If I had been given a narrowed down choice of alternative gluten free options I wouldn't have questioned this selection and have chosen something happily. To expect a customer to pay extra without giving them the heads up in the first place and then charging them for a starter from the set menu they didn't have in the first place is a bit cheeky, I kind of felt like I was being led to feel like the mishap was my own fault. I do feel like if the restaurant had been quieter then hopefully the mistakes wouldn't have happened, although a set procedure for FOH would eradicate any confusion in the future.

Called in on a Monday evening. Wow…… the restaurant is immaculate, service was really first class, very pleasant waiters. The tapas was extremely good, great offer on a Monday evening. I tried the liver purely on the waiters recommendation and it was by far the best liver I have tasted, great recommendation. It’s a gem of a restaurant. Well done.

We weren't that impressed with El Toro really. Although there was a varied menu to choose from almost everything arrived tepid and the calamari was tough. The seating upstairs is not condusive to conversation . We will be returning to Feast in Hatfield instead.
