Absolutely delicious breakfast, and believe me I mean delicious served by friendly people in a lovely cafe.

Food was very good. I have given 3 stars. Why? When we arrived for our 7pm booking, after ordering our food, we were told we needed to vacate the table at 8.15 for another booking! Our main didnt arrive until 8 and as soon as we finished we were given the bill(we hadnt asked for) - i hadnt even ordered the banana fritters, i was so looking forward to!! I find this very poor and wouldnt have booked if they had told me this when i rang to bk as i hadnt taken a friend out who needed to chat after a bereavement and we felt very very rushed!

Excellent as always. Families 1st choice for fish and chips.

A superb environment and ideal for quality coffee, sourcing theirs from top-notch international roasters. I've had a few of the rotating selection of cookies/pastries etc and have always been delighted with them. The coffee subscription, too, is top-drawer.

Great food. Friendly service, but very slow when busy. Overall a very nice place to go for food.

Great communication , we had a mix up with Uber so the resteraunt contacted me to say that if the food was cold on arrival it would be replaced ! The order was delivered and still warm and very nice. Lovely staff lovely deserts and we will be ordering again

Had a beautiful afternoon tea, with such a lovely atmosphere and wonderful down to earth people. Can’t complain for the price as we loved it, will definitely be back again.

Smooth sounds, great coffee and food. Well worth the walk across the slack. Beautiful place.

On a busy Saturday night, the service was slow, we started with sourdough and labneh & dukkha, then shared their rarebit on a flatbread with a nice sauce, that was the highlight. I followed with cod and monkfish with mussels, the fish was good but the mussels with it were cold. My wife chose lamb rump which was also cold and was undercooked. We cancelled a second booking.

What a lovely place. Good food, nice people and a beautiful outdoor space to eat, drink and relax.

Absolutely lovely lady runs the place. The chef is amazing in the food he cooks. Probably the best breakfast I've had in 16 years of living in England. You won't regret trying it.

Lovely atmosphere and really nice bar staff. Really good variety of nice beers (alcoholic and nonalcoholic). Lovely place to have as a local spot.
