Grindhouse in Leeds

Great bar, friendly staff, awesome drinks and excellent music.

Feel like I’m in a petty battle with this bar. Asked them to turn music down politely via post, music keeps getting louder and louder Sunday, Mondays and days where you already know hospitality isn’t booming especially in Jan and Feb. Started leaving their rear fire exits open to peeve us all some more when some form of karaokes on. Haven’t had a sound nights sleep the whole 9 months of renting above these guys, bars next to them also have to deal with the complaints.

I absolutely love the grindhouse, the staff and the vibe are equally immaculate. The cocktails are spot on and the movies in the back are a really lovely touch missing from most places in the city. If you're born 1988-1995 I think you'd really appreciate this venue, I will visit this venue every single chance I get.

You know its spectacular to come to a place with all the retro posters on the wall great lighting with camera films in the bulb so fascinating to look at and be around ❤️

A really fun bar, with some excellent music, and a great cinema theme. We loved the drinks on offer, with some excellent cocktails, all poured by a friendly and generous barman. The decor was great, with films playing at the back, surrounded by posters of some real classics, and some nice small touches, such as the film canister light fittings. Great place, with a great vibe - definitely worth a visit!

A great bar with awesome music and top quality food and drink on offer. Paul is also a very nice chap!

I don't know if maybe we haven't realised the revival of the more recent past as a valid time to celebrate; or whether at the great old age of 40 I just appreciate the offering here. But it's pretty great. With each song a new film of my life is brought to the front and a great smile too. Good beer choices just top it off. Please, visit and enjoy the atmosphere!

Great little place fab music reason we stayed to be honest

Went to a friends Leaving Do tonight and honestly a fantastic place, will be definitely coming back as great food, drinks, vibes and especially staff and music !!!

Absolutely amazing food. Lovely staff and great cocktails. Will definitely stop here on the way to the theatre again. Loved it!

Popped in for breakfast I had the kahuna breakfast and it was spot on, 2 sausage 2 bacon 2 hash browns beans&tom and egg with toast. Also I had coffee well worth every penny, great place to grab food and drink, it has a movie theme to it, great staff too. I also had to out a sort of chilli on hoola hoops I the crisp packet and it was bang on I definitely recommend that for a snack.

Brilliant atmosphere, bar staff were superb, very accommodating, old movies playing on the big screen, The Goonies while we were there. Door staff were very friendly, we stayed till closing, around 1am. Just over 20 in the bar but outside there may have been 100, no issues.

Amazing new cafe/bar on the Leeds scene. Great for coffee or a beer in the day and the bar snacks / food are awesome! Well worth a visit- will be back.
