Belle isle Fisheries in Leeds

Ordered several times and food getting worse 2 x now i have ordered somthing and ita been under cooked due to staff wanting to get off home 4 minuets 35 to cook kids fish bite meal and large battered sausage. Then 2 scallops that xpuld put windows throw and a fish that tasted rotten Tried explaining no refund I spend 30/40 pounds a week no more Highly avoid

Always greeted on arrival, customer service is A* atmosphere is great which you feel when you walk in. Food is spot on portion size is great and very clean to high standards would highly recommend..

We drive past other establishments to go here for our weekly work ritual of Fish and Chip Friday. Always welcoming and the fish and chips are always freshly prepared to the highest standard. Would recommend a visit if you want quality and value for money.

I've used this shop just twice so far having just moved nearby. The first time I used them was via a food ordering app. My request on the app (well done fish) was listened to and the order arrived quite promptly, and still piping hot (despite the driver delivering elsewhere first) The second time I used Belle Isle Fisheries was just last week. This time I drove to the shop and ordered. The shop was quite busy (around 18:15 on a Thursday), still but was very clean. I was asked upon entering if I had any special orders so again, I asked for a well done fish along with the rest of the order. Staff were friendly and polite although looked quite tired they were still very professional. Both times, the food tasted really fresh and was delicious. Unfortunately we couldn't finish the meal as the portions were quite large. If I were to criticise one thing, it would be on a personal level as I do like the fish to be really really well done...I will have a chat with staff the next time I go in to see the best way I can achieve it...(well done +)? 😜 See you soon.

I work on Belle Isle estate all week and of the many food options available, this is head and shoulders above the rest. 1st choice, every time...only eat elsewhere outside of opening hours! Great food, friendly staff and a genuine focus of the community...

Love Fish n Chips and had em all over but these are the best. The Fish is lovely white chunks and the chips are not too greasy either and the portion sizes are spot on Delivery is quick and the prices are very competitive. In short i would definitely recommend them to anyone.

Had a lovely takeout meal, fish cooked fresh to order along with the chips. The only issue we had was we had to go and collect it as the app was saying there was no spaces available for delivery but the restaurant said that it should have been working so think that needs looking into.

Absolutely disgraceful way to run a business ! We have ordered from here so many times as well as calling in when out and about . Our order this evening was out of necessity as we have a broken oven , ordered a large fish , large chips , peas , curry , sausage and fish bites , when it arrived the fish bites were missing so I wrapped the rest of the food up and preceeded to call the shop , I got an answer machine so hung up and redialled to get a continuous engaged tone , then kept getting a woman’s voice telling me the number wasn’t recognised 🤦‍♀️ then back to an engaged tone . Found a WhatsApp number so sent a message with no response , phoned the same number with no reply so went back to original number again with continuous engaged tone . Of course the rest of the food was now cold , sat in a freezing cold kitchen that has no heating in it ! We had a nice evening planned eating together . Eventually the phone was answered by a woman who passed me to the owner after telling him what my problem was , he abruptly came on the phone stating he would either refund the money for the fish bites or send them out , I asked what I was meant to do about the rest of the cold food and his reply was why hadn’t it been eaten whilst waiting ! I tried to explain that we are a couple and actually wanted to sit down and eat our meal together but he spoke over me saying he wasn’t replacing all the food and then said I’ll refund the lot goodbye , he hung up on me whilst I was trying to explain that we are now without a meal !!!! Absolutely disgusting way to treat your customers and we will NEVER buy from you again 😡
