Main Street Fish & Chips in Leeds

Almost closing time but still curtreous.

Not the first time the chips were undercooked. Took them home and had to put in the airfryer. I love newbiggin and want to promote business to prosper. Please put something in place to improve quality.

Best fish and chips in the area, their muchy peas and curry sauce was DELICIOUS! Highly recommend. Meal for 2 cost us less than £15, will be visiting again.

I drive past here regularly, actually stopped and called in for the first time today. Very nice guy behind the counter, very helpful. Food was very good, just a good old fashioned chippy, I live miles away but will definitely go back. I would recommend this place without hesitation.

This is a proper fish and chips shop. Lovely food. It's worth a visit.

We dropped in today after a nostalgic drive around Tingley and East Ardsley where I had spent my childhood up to the ripe old age of 13. The last time I had bought 3d bag of chips with scraps from here was 1965, my parents ran the Bedford Arms and I was in the cubs at the church Hall East Ardsley. Today the fish and chips are as good as they were then, tasted fantastic, large fresh fish and loads of succulent chips. The owner of course was accommodating and very friendly. Nice to see somethings don’t change in this world of uncertainty. 🤗

Driven past here for years on the way back to my bosses house nearby and have allways fancied trying it last week I got the chance to try it after a early dart from a job down in Birmingham........... It was absolutely Amazing and reasonably priced. Fish was perfectly battered and the fish itself was flakey and moist, the chips also were delicious. Top effort, I love my fish n chips and this place is now in my quality chippy to visit list!!

Quality Fish and chips, Has now become my favourite Chippy and just happens to be my closest which is a bonus.
