The Greenhouse Horsforth in Leeds

I had the avocado and hummus on sourdough toast. They didn’t scrimp on ingredients and it was beautifully presented. My friend had tomatoes and vegan feta on toast. We really enjoyed our meals and thought they were reasonably priced. I’m not vegan but I’d recommend this place to anyone. The service was great too.

Great vegan cafe. The coffee was from a local roaster and delicious. I had scrambles tofu and my wife had a mound of blueberry pancakes, both delicious.

Situated halfway up Horsforth High Street, The Greenhouse is easy to find, and it is well worth making a trip for. What a friendly place, the staff are absolutely lovely, and don't seem to be able to do enough for you. The 100% Vegan menu is very appealing, and there are equally attractive specials, with some great soups and sandwiches. There's an impressive selection of delicious cakes, and they make a good pot of tea too. Prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended.

Went with two friends, we all agreed the food was excellent. Everything cooked from scratch so be prepared to wait a little longer, it's worth it. I recommend the wild mushrooms in a delicious sauce, and also the pancakes.

Ordered a coffee walnut cake for my birthday. Went to collect it and treated myself to lunch. The scrambled tofu was so good 😋 And the cake- wow! Looked and tasted absolutely beautiful 😍

Just a wonderful, friendly cafe with amazing food and service! I’m so glad we found it! The food was fabulous and so healthy. My husband was in denial it was vegan too which amused me, apparently it was too tasty to be all plant based!

Truly AWESOME. I had the Spinach and broccoli soup, without doubt the best soup I have had as far as I can remember. I also had the vegan carrot lux- a cream cheese bagel with carrot marinaded strips that resemble salmon. It was awesome. Big thanks for. a vegan lunch unrivalled.

Had lunch here on Saturday whilst visiting a friend - what a truly fantastic place. Fabulous service, wonderful food (great sized portions), and you can see the food being prepped, which I really like. My friend and I had two mains, two soft drinks, and two enormous cakes (possibly the most delicious Victoria sponge I've ever eaten) = approx £30. Utterly brilliant.

The first time we visited it was because another place was unexpectedly closed and I'm really glad it was because we then discovered this beautiful little cafe! Since then we've back twice and both times we've driven to Horsforth just to visit this cafe. The food is delicious and freshly prepared, the Maud coffee is awesome and filling in itself. The cakes are out of this world, we always bring cake home! Then there's the staff who are really lovely and accommodating! The first two times we ate there we arrived late in the day, like 3:30pm (4pm close) and they were happy to cook for us still and told us not to rush with eating either, even though that would clearly take us beyond closing! It's such a great place, the only problem is that I keep ordering the same dishes, because they are delicious! However the cakes change, so I get my variety there :D I just really love this vegan cafe and feel lucky that it's only a short drive away. I couldn't recommend highly enough, if you're in the area get in there, if you're not it's worth heading over there! I'm not Gluten Free, but I've noticed they have GF butter, so probably have other things too. They are friendly on the phone so just call if you have a query. I'd recommend for everyone, but a true gem for vegans!! I think the prices are good and the portions are great! It's excellent so head over and enjoy!! ♥️☕🍰🥑🐱😍

There was a very quiet and calm atmosphere. The staff were really friendly and the food was superb. They brought our dog a bowl of water. Overall it was really good and we would definitely come again.

Great healthy takeaway lunch with a smoothie treat. The wellbeing bowl was fantastic, as was the Maude Smoothie. The staff were very friendly and the service was great. Highly recommended.

We went for a walk in the park at Horsforth with our dog, and followed this with lunch at The Greenhouse. We had a creamy coffee and smoothies with the delicious Carrot lox on the homemade bagels with an extra side of the mushrooms, and a salad bowl. The prices are reasonable, the food looks as beautiful as it tastes and the doggo was made very welcome with a lovely bowl of cool water. The cakes are exceptionally good and at a price of 4 for £10 exceptional value too.

I'm so glad I have discovered this little gem on Town Street. The cafe is vegan and has a lovely selection of cakes - 4 for £10! I had the raspberry brownie which was lovely. The service was very friendly and quick. It makes a lovely spot for a drink and snack, with there being extra seating upstairs. Lovely!

Just had another delightful trip to The Greenhouse - we love everything about it! The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the food is amazing, from drinks to mains to of course the yummy cakes! Reasonably priced and beautifully presented, we can’t wait to come back soon. We also have a celebration cake on order for next month, which if the cakes we’ve had in the past are anything to go by, we know will be fantastic! Covid wise - we’ve felt safe visiting, whether that was for takeaway or today’s visit, the treat of finally being able to sit inside! Thanks to all at The Greenhouse!

This was our second choice of eatery. The first one was closed unexpectedly! From now on The Greenhouse will most definitely be our first choice!! We both opted for the creamy garlic and parsley mushrooms on sourdough toast. (a couple of little extras too, sweet potatoe fries and nachos) It was first class. Very filing too although we managed to make room for the lemon drizzle cake that was on offer. Fab staff, and so helpful, we're already planning our return visit.
