Amazing food, really good staff

We were looking for a sit-down cafe but with us not being familiar with the area we wasnt sure. We stumbled upon Eve's cafe and wow 5 star, the food was great, the eggs on my breakfast were cooked to perfection the bacon and sasauge were the best ive tasted from cafés definitely visit again.

Recently I went here and the meal I had was delicious. I noticed they do cereal which is great for kids who may be picky eaters. The only downside was that it's cash only and in this day and age many don't carry cash. Be prepared if you visit there is no card or of her payment option. There also isn't any direct parking but it's a perfect for bus users as it's out side the bus station doors.

Lovely place for a bite to eat, seems to have a genuine community feel with everyone knowing eachother and getting along. Great portions at a very respectable price with no compromise on taste. Took some home made baklava home to have with a cup of tea and it was absolutely delicious. Can't recommend enough. Please support this local business and these lovely ladies. Even had a petition available for a local cause. A business that genuinely cares about the people it serves.

This is a gem of a cafe. Very good value for money. Service quick and staff pleasant. My chicken wrap came with chips and was plentiful, piping hot and the side salad fresh and nicely presented. Very tasty. My partner was very happy with his eggs on toast. A nice place to have lunch on our walk along the Greenaway. This was our 2nd visit and we intend to return again very soon.

Cookie dough is absolutely drowned in cheap chocolate sauce. This is absolute rubbish for the money. Very disappointed ☹️

I stopped and ate at Eve’s cafe and have been pleasantly surprised by their menu. Soup and breakfast is served to those around me and I myself had scones and coffee which were the best ever. Served at my table. Warmed scones with jam and cream and cocoa powder topping. Excellent service. I ate indoors but there is a covered area outside which looks pleasant. The outlook over the memorial gardens was very lovely and the atmosphere and banter was entertaining too. 😀

Thanks to the ladies at Eve's cafe for lovely coffees. These certainly helped to keep us vaccine volunteers going on our shift at the Town Hall. Recommended to colleagues and I would definitely visit to try some food when I'm next in Cleckheaton.

Been a few times, mainly for a coffee and sandwich takeout which are good. Breakfast is top standard. Only let down is that it's cash only (hence 4/5 stars). Am so used to paying for everything with my phone these days that, like the Queen, I no longer carry cash so it's my visits need to be planned.

The best cafe by far in Cleckheaton great food and fair prices make Eve's cafe a really nice place to go .and in summer you can sit outside and have ice cream .

Terrible to work here, did 3 days of work and they did not pay me a penny! Terrible communication, and texted the next day saying we don't need me with no reason given! Kitchen was not the cleanest to cook in, and 100% used me as a skivvy

Clean tidy and really pleasant staff

I have been aware of the cafe for a while but never had opportunity to visit. Today we noticed they have expanded, having renovations and got "Eve's Scoops" running. We asked if they were open and got the most amazing ice creams. Cakes offered and expanding to waffles and other treats. No menu as yet as still in early stages. Really pleasant staff. Little treasure trove for the summer

Still outdoor eating only but cleaned between every seated customer outdoors and tables well apart. No hesitation to grab my lunch here!!

Eve's cafe is lovely and I have been going for about 3 years now. Its set in the park so has a beautiful view. at the moment you cant sit in due to Covid but you can sit outside which as I have said is in a lovely park so its no chore. There are toilets which are clean and the staff are great.

This place is a hidden gem. The staff are so friendly and the produce is freshly cooked. The prices are very reasonable with a great choice of food, from sandwiches to tasty dinners.

Eve is a lovely polite lady ,i go there most days have a cuppa and sit in the park for an hr , the new sign looks great too 😁

Great location overlooking the park. Well positioned for cafe stop off the greenway cycle routes. Tea is hot and wet. Cakes are prepacked sugar. Good for a fuel stop and rest. Elsewhere for afternoon coffee date.

Very friendly and what a great breakfast. It is also set right in front of the bus station and in the beautiful memorial park. A short walk to the town centre. Well worth a few visits.

1st time visitor , this place is a gem , set in the gardens of the park next to the bus station. Spotlessly clean , friendly staff & very reasonably priced. I had a full English Breakfast , £4.95 includes hot drink & toast Highly recommend.

If you can get.over that fact that it's a converted toilet block you'll be surprised & pleased by the inside. Offers a wide range of food at reasonable prices.

Very pleasant staff with quick service,a good selection of food at very reasonable prices.Recently decorated and with new furniture makes a very pleasant break.Floor level with path in the park so wheelchairs should be ok.Toilet facilities and able to sit outside weather permitting.

Fantastic Character 'Tea rooms' Cafe in the heart of Cleckheaton, conveniently situated in the splendid memorial park and adjacent the main bus station. I've had lovely coffee there and had the pleasure to meet and photograph the owners. Their images look great on google maps and on their social media pages.
