Best for afternoon and early evenings since they can close early if it's quiet. Friendly staff. I've not eaten here since the new owners took charge, so I can't say too much about it, but it doe s seem popular.

Best roast in Yorkshire!!! Everything is cooked to perfection and you get so much. We all left very content & can’t wait to go back - and lovely service and atmosphere - thank you!!

We wanted to visit for some time now but for one or another reason this was our first time. Lovely atmosphere, nice home made roast and good selection of ales wine and gin. Will certainly visit again 😃

Could not fault it. Food was excellent and so was the service. My daughter took us for Mothers Day and the menu had plenty of choice. They even boxed up what we left of the meal as portions are very generous
