Bistro Polish food in Bradford

We had a lovely meal here before going to a show at the Alhambra, which is just round the corner. The food was very tasty, the portions were generous, the staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the service was prompt. There was also a good selection of beers. We'd never had Polish food before, but it was very good. We'll definitely be back!

A really lovely place to sit down and have dinner, the sauerkraut and mushroom pierogi were outstanding.. 10/10 would recommend, will be dreaming of those for a long while. Also ordered the Schnitzel, also delicious you get a sizeable portion considering the great price. Only thing I’m gutted about is that I don’t live in Bradford so can’t try the rest of the menu. Will be back for sure should I find myself in Bradford again.

There is nothing much to write about, it was the first time I had the opportunity to try something in a bistro, it was dumplings with meat and Russian dumplings, they were finger licking good, but I had already heard from friends that everything in this place is wow!!! I heartily recommend it, the food is delicious, but what is equally important, the service is friendly and professional in everything.

I had the opportunity to visit this restaurant during my short stay in Bradford and I was delighted! The food was delicious - real Polish flavors, just like mom's. The atmosphere in the place is very pleasant, warm and conducive to relaxation. I would especially like to highlight Mrs. Sylwia, who works behind the bar - an incredibly nice, smiling and full of positive energy person. I felt like I was hanging out with a good friend! The owner is also extremely nice and hospitable. This place definitely has soul. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for good cuisine and homely atmosphere!

I ordered the dish of the day for £10 😍 Vegetable soup was served very quickly ⌚ and for the second course, two large chicken legs baked in the oven, served with potatoes and salad, a really large portion 👏. Delicious, thank you. I recommend it 💯%

We were mooching around bradford and found this place - its nicely decorated on the inside, has a lovely outdoor area too. Very welcoming. The pierogi was delicious, all the food we had was perfect and portions were huge, cocktails were delightful. Lovely spot with great attentive staff. I will be back. Dziękuję !

Very nice and friendly service, and the lady who made my shab soup today deserves a lot of praise :) It was so delicious that I thought my mother made it, ordinary shab soup and it was so much fun, I will definitely come back there because the menu is large and I have to try the rest 😀

Nice place, good kebab, very good price and service. Huge kebab, I didn't finish it. Delicious roll with seeds. A rich set of salads. A boss who shouts at employees and has a sarcastic attitude towards people spoils the atmosphere a bit. Otherwise 5/5 :)

Called in today on my way from Leeds to a friend's to pick up lunch. Lovely bar, lovely welcome and the pierogi were really delicious. Exactly what the doctor ordered from the wind and rain

We visited the place for the first time. Friends recommended the place. I must say that it was worth listening to my friends. We took takeaway dishes: 2 cod fillets, one with potatoes and the other with fries, a poultry fillet with potatoes and a poultry fillet with cheese and mushrooms, plus potatoes. I admit that I don't like potatoes, but I know that I will only eat potatoes here. The food is really delicious. If I may advise the owners: I would use more sour cream for the salad. Please do not change the rest. I recommend the place.

Great place with delicious food. We got plates full of food, and outside in the back garden is a bouncy castle for kids. The place is not expensive. Staff is very nice. We will come back there for sure!

I regret to share my disappointing experience at Polish Bistro. While the food was commendable, the ambiance was far from enjoyable due to intoxicated and noisy patrons watching a loud TV, along with the unsettling sight of unrestrained dogs wandering around the dining area. The chaos and lack of consideration for customers' comfort overshadowed the otherwise promising menu, making it hard to savor the meal in such a disorderly setting.

Enjoyed the most delicious breakfast. Most of us had the Full Polish Breakfast. Eggs were perfectly cooked, sausage and bacon were tasty. My son had the Farmers sandwich, which he enjoyed very much. Everyone, from Martha to the young man who greeted us (I must ask his name next time), were very kind and welcoming. They went out of their way. The bistro was clean and inviting with a comfortable decor. We want to come back and try their dinner menu.

Just been here for a takeaway lunch and the food is absolutely stunning. Pierogi tasted amazing, fresh and portion was well worth it. Zapiekanka was massive and also just as good, highly recommend and will definitley be coming back!

The food is tasty, apart from the kebab meat reheated in the microwave, but what I would like to complain about is the temperature of these dishes, e.g. "the meat is cold and the potatoes are warm, or the Sunday broth comes barely lukewarm", I recommend that someone from your team go to any milk bar in Poland and see what it actually looks like, because you absolutely like it, I see it as the dish of the day waiting to be served, even before ordering

The chef, Mrs. Bożenka, does an excellent job. The casserole I ordered was very delicious! I sincerely recommend this place to all casserole lovers and others. Not only are the casseroles delicious, I had the opportunity to order takeaway and eat many dishes on site. Every dish tasted great. Once you order food, I am sure you will come back to the place next time you are hungry and want to eat something good J

I'm in Bradford, I've rarely been to the Bistro twice. Last summer I ordered devolay and it was good. My partner ordered a kebab. He said he didn't like it and wouldn't come here anymore. We were there yesterday. He didn't want anything. I ordered a pork chop to go. At home I start eating and there is a big cutlet on half a plate. The so-called sole, it's a pity that I didn't think to take a photo. I don't know if the meat was a centimeter thick after breaking, because it looked like 0.5 cm to me. The breading was as thick as a cutlet and came off in one large sheet. I don't know if it was fried or if the meat was fresh, I'm not an expert. I wrote this post because after yesterday's dinner she unfortunately had food poisoning :( The cook is vulgar, while the waitress has 5 stars and is a very nice and friendly person.

I've been there three times and the food was terrible three times, I don't recommend it, the comment is not out of spite, it's just not seasoned enough and not tasty. Large portions, but instead of large portions they should be more modest but better prepared. It's not the quantity that matters, but the quality.

Absolute gem of a place in Bradford. We've gotten takeout a couple of times and delivery on a few occasions. Went to eat in with a group of friends a few weeks ago. Every single time it's just spot on perfect. The kebab in Turkish bread easily feeds too. It's sooo good! The people are very friendly and accommodating. Ringing up can sometimes be a bit intimidating as they answer the phone in Polish, but stick with it! It just shows how good the business is doing. 👍🏼 Took our Polish friends there and they were super impressed. They have since travelled from Dewsbury to have another one of those kebabs. 😃 Thank you!

Gyros, a lot of meat which is a good thing. Bad side: very greasy, meat which was “swimming” in the oil , too much sauce. The dish didn’t look nice. Chips which were fried earlier then were under the meat in the plastic container and became flat and tasted like they were boiled rather than fried. Zapiekana such an easy dish unfortunately the baguette was not fresh and tasted like a sponge. Mushrooms I’m not too sure maybe they were expired or in some weird sauce ? It was the first time Ive tried this eatery and I’d say it was also my last time. The fast food is not the best. Maybe the traditional home made dinners are worth of trying as I didn’t have a chance to order it before. Ladies who work there are great! Very nice and friendly service. 😊

I give it 5 stars, but only for the portions because they are huge, I don't regret it, but the food tasteless to me. I once ordered meat in a roll, a gigantic portion, but I couldn't eat it because it was so tasteless and bland. I ordered pork chop and gyros casserole twice and it was also tasteless. Maybe the third time I'll find something tasty....
