Spot on! Absolutely delicious and really good value for Thai food. Not orders from here for ages and don’t know why as it was yummy. Even easier now they are on Just Eat

I ordered from here as a recommendation. I wasn’t nor have been disappointed any time I’ve ordered. Reasonably priced and extremely tasty. They cater for vegetarian, vegan and gluten free too! I would say this is the best place in cleckheaton to eat by far. Keep up the amazing work.

The food made me have the same experience that the critic has in that part in ratatouille where he eats the ratatouille and cries with joy. The portions are amazing for the price; great value for money. Everything made fresh in front of you. The waitress was really nice and happy.

I had the king prawn pad Thai. Freshly made, quick service and really tasty. I will be coming back for another visit soon!

Visited here a few times whilst in hotels in the area for work. Very nice food and seemed very fresh. Good value. It’s cash only btw.

The food here is absolutely delicious! You get big portions and it is very cheap in price for the quality you get. I don’t know why I haven’t been here sooner. I had beef pad Thai and it was amazing! Also I am gluten free which they cater very well for and the majority of the menu can be adapted for you! Also all the staff are really lovely and friendly. I will definitely be returning here, my new favourite takeaway!

My wife and I stopped here for some lunch. We both had noodle based dishes and were very impressed. Both meals were prepared fresh for us and the portion sizes were generous. Would definitely recommend. The only downside was that they had no chicken despite only just opening for the day. I suspect this is not the usual though.

Just eaten a green Thai curry from SukanThai . I had this with sticky Jasmine Rice and also Thai fish cakes for starters. The meal was fantastic...so tasty and authentic. I think if you’re like me you’ll think it’s one of the best Asian dishes you’ve ever had the pleasure to eat;-)...just can’t wait for weekend when we can go again.Please support the fantastic ladies who run and own this business, they deserve to be a success.

I thought it worth dropping a review, credit where credit is due. We often order from here, especially as my husband works around the corner. It consistently good fresh food, tastes amazing. I haven’t been for a while, but went to collect today and the lady who served me was knowledgable and had amazing customer service skills, We always have a good experience and hope to continue to visit for the foreseeable future Well Done All! Super fast fresh and authentic Thai takeaway food. Ate there tonight and they plated it up to eat in at no extra charge. Not keen on chicken thigh which it appeared to be so next time will see if they have prawns.

Got a meal to take out consisting of green Thai prawn curry,red chicken Thai curry and Massaman curry , all with jasmine rice and a variety of starters. We were a party of five adults and three youngsters aged 4-10. Every one of us raves about the food...it was gorgeous. The prices were also excellent averaging £5 per head. Thoroughly recommend this place...I’ll definitely be going again.

Loved eating here from the day it first opened. The food is incredible! Easily one of the best Thai places I have tried (I've tried a lot) The menu has a great choice. Most of the dishes can be made with Tofu which is really tasty. They do daily specials which I am yet to try! Dishes are roughly £4-£6 each which is a good price considering the portion you get! The only downside is the waiting time. I understood in the early days but I've been a few times at lunchtime and it's been about 40 minutes. I try to get it on an evening only then I don't mind the wait

Very impressed by the food and service. Sadly the specials and prawn crackers had all run out when we ordered on a Saturday night - must be a sign of how tasty they are! Everything we ordered was delicious and the ladies answering the phone and serving the food were really friendly.

Cant recommend enough! Fast and friendly service. Fantastic quality genuine thai cooking at amazing prices. Cant wait to return to Cleckheaton.

Sukan Thai is a small take/away/street food café. It has a bar area to eat and a couple of rustic tables inside and out. You can see the food prepared and cooked.

This was the first time we tried Sukan Thai following a recommendation. We were very impressed, tasty food at a good price. Swift service and great value, will definitely use again.

We popped in for lunch - this was our first visit. Had fish cakes and seafood dumplings to start, green curry and pan fried noodles for mains. Outstanding. Great food, nice people, great service. We’ll be back (very soon!)

I've been here a couple of times now. My head office is in Leeds and I get tired of the hotel menu so I drive here to pick up a takeaway. Firstly, the prices are so reasonable! The food is authentic, tasty and fresh.

Ordered the Beef red curry with Jasmine Rice and it was one of the nicest Thai Curries I have had, cook only have been made better if there had been a duck option! Highly recommended.

Great little street food cafe - quite surprised to find it in Cleckheaton! The daily specials are excellent - always cooked from fresh to order. Brilliant value.

Love this place! Me and my husband get the Pad Thai and Tom Yam Soup! It is always delicious and the staff are lovely!

Been coming here since it first opened about a year ago, so many of my friends and family have visited and raved about the food. Just amazing, so fresh, tasty and lovely. The staff are always smiling happy and helpful too.

A must, we go regularly when in town! Amazing flavours, just like being back in Thailand. Small menu but for me makes the choice easier. Always has new specials to mix it up. Portions could do with being a little larger for my partner.

I've been eating here for some time now. I found out today that even though the menu has a (v) at the side of he dishes AND explains that it is vegetarian IT IS NOT. The sauce on the green curry contains SHRIMP paste. I've been vegetarian for 20 years and I wothout knowing I've been shrimps. I feel let down and conned. This menu need changing

Finally Cleckheaton gets a thai takeaway and boy is it good. Lovely home style cooking. Limited menu but they do have amazing specials such as Son in laws eggs which were stunning. Thanks for coming to our town and don't ever leave!

Love this place fog something different. Everything cooked fresh on a hot plate so would think quite healthy. Big huge menu buy everything I've tried has been really nice. They do have specials that seem to change regularly. Reasonable prices.

I'm a big regular there and find it consistent, fresh and certainly the best food in town. If you haven't been go ASAP you don't know what your missing....

It is a small place with only a small menu, but with a few options to vary the spice levels, etc. - but everything we tried was really good.

I read in the T&A; that it was a cafe/takeaway, so we intended using the cafe. We arrive to find only two tables in a very small space over looking the prep area. The menu is very small, little choice. We ordered a couple of starters and two mains and sat at a table. After about ten mins we were told that our currys were ready but spring rolls would be about five mins, would we like our mains first and then have our starters?

All freshly cooked in front of you. A small menu with a specials board. We have tried most of the meals available and have been really impressed. Really tasty all fresh ingredients used, no chemicals/msg added. Not as impressed with the starters but then I'm not keen on Thai dumplings personally. Really good Thai food! A hidden local treasure! They don't deliver it is collection only but if you call ahead it is all cooked ready for you. Would definitely recommend a visit!

Visited this tea time, excellent food delivered quickly. Very reasonably priced and large portions. We sat inside which was a nice bonus.

This is a great little place. I love love love Thia food. The food is generally really good quality. I had one dodgy meal, not make me ill or anything, just was not very tasty and only had one prawn!

This is only small with very limited seating so most food is take away. You can see your food being prepared and cooked fresh in a clean environment. The food is excellent quality and value. The staff are very friendly and helpful what more could you ask for. I had Kow Ka Moo which is slow cooked pork leg with rice and cabbage. a good portion and tasted delicious as did my wife's Thai green curry. They also have specials board.

Really yummy food at a great price. The portions were a good size. Can't wait to try the rest of the menu.

My first visit to SukanThai left me very satisfied. The food was freshly cooked and very tasty. The menu is relatively short but with enough variety to satisfy every member of the family and is good value for money. The starters and mains were all excellent. The staff were friendly, both on the phone and on collection. I look forward to trying the cafe for lunch.

Had a nice selection of food, dumplings, red curry, massaman curry, all cooked fresh and very tasty. Nice food and great service. Will be back :)

My first visit to SukanThai, the food was fresh and very very tasty.

I visited with my wife and son late February and we had 2 meals. I think this little take away/ 4table cafe is ok but the permanent steamed up window due to inadequate extraction a bit off putting. The food itself came separately, which was annoying as there were only 2 dishes, and although the portions were good the food was not particularly hot. It tasted ok but was nothing special. Having eaten at many Thai restaurants and noodle bars the food has always been piping hot and tasted fresh and this was probably my least enjoyable Thai meal to date. If they could deliver and open evenings as a take away I think this would be great (if the food can be Hot and cooked more).

Called in to try this new place with the positive reviews and opted for chicken massamen, other choices were beef or tofu. This included a portion of jasmine rice. Both meat and rice were served into a measure before putting into the take away container. The portions were small but so was the price, it's enough for a tea but not over filling. I had chicken skewers too and sat inside to eat rather than steam up my car. The lady on duty was very friendly and welcoming. Ideal place for a quick snack or light tea.

Great little spot in the town centre of Cleckheaton. Every local town should have one little street food outlet serving well priced tasty Thai food. Small choice and everything cooked to order from menu but everything good quality, authentic and healthy. Kitchen and eating areas spotlessly clean. Popular with local businesses and shoppers ordering lunches. Vegetarian and gluten free dishes available on request. We will certainly be going back for more takeaway dishes and happy to recommend that others try this interesting little fast food outlet.

I ordered a take away of pad Thai with chicken didn't have long to wait about 5min food smell excellent got to. Bus stop and was hungry so stated eating food very good so saved some and shared with husband when home . Very good value for money. Will go again lots!!!

Had a takeaway from here tonight. Not had much Thai food before but if this is anything to go by ill be having more. The staff are friendly and quick. The place is spotless.The food is awesome it's a limited menu but that is good in a way as what they do really is top notch. Quality over quantity.

Newly opened shop serving Thai street food. We called in at lunch time to try it out and were impressed by the open kitchen and rustic indoor seating. Food was freshly cooked and very tasty. Good value for money and different to anything else on offer in town, which can only be good.

A small café that sells the most delicious authentic Thai food. Nothing is more than £4.50 and includes side dishes. They have a choice of about 6 curry/spicy dishes of which two are available for selection each week. Choose from chicken, beef or prawn.The specials are varied but the Pad Thai is excellent. It is all freshly made and I feel like I've eaten a healthy meal and not a naughty take out.
