One of best breakfasts in bridlington if breakfast isnt included in ur hotel stay this is a must if busy u have a bit of a wait but hell its worth it great staff keep up the great service u provide

Lovely food steak pie is a must, value for money, great service Try to visit weekly. A gem of a cafe, will be back in February for our regular visits

Myself and my family have been coming here for the past 22 years and absolutely love it. George, Jenny and the servers are always lovely, jolly and make you feel welcome. Today was my brother's birthday and on arrival, there was a reserved sign with a birthday wish, along with birthday serviettes. There's usually a small TV on the counter or a radio going whilst waiting for your food, but you're usually never left waiting for long! The menu is pretty standard, but the food is always so yum and at such a reasonable price. I would rather go here and have egg, chips and peas over going to a posh restaurant for a steak because I know we're never going to be disappointed. Best place to go for a full English and a brew. Hoping this place is still going for many years to come!

Exceptional food quality, cooked to perfection at extremely modest prices. The cafe is a short walk from the centre of Bridlington. Clean & tidy. We were staying at the Albion Cottages just a few yards away & came across this fabulous cafe! Will be returning for breakfast tomorrow, without doubt. Thank you so much!

First visit but will certainly not be the last. A proper old school cafe, it was like walking back into the 80’s (in a great way). Had a Special Breakfast, everything was top notch and it was piping hot. At £5.60 including bread and a mug of tea, bargain. Can’t wait to go back!

Just passable, it was a breakfast that's all I can say,it was ok apart for the fried bread which tasted as though it had been fried in old burnt fat. Not the place that I will return to.

Bit like going back in time, pretty standard traditional cafe breakfast in dated surroundings. Asked for well done bacon and gratefully received well done bacon, sausages were OK, if not a little overdone on the outside. Decent quality beans used cooked well, but the tinned plum tomatoes were certainly not premium brand, small with hard ends. Eggs on my plate were overdone, whereas my partners were on the very edge of being underdone. Breakfast is served with bread & fried bread of which one of slices had a strange flavour, usually from overheated oil or cross contamination with other fried items. Additional sliced white toast as an extra. Overall it wasn't bad, just pretty average, had a better quality breakfast and more pleasant experience the previous day at Tea @ 33 which is a couple of doors down.

Met family here who live in Brid and recommended it. We were not disappointed ! Freshly cooked food in friendly surroundings and lovely staff - BRILLIANT !!!!!!!!!!!!

Very impressed with the Covid safety measures put in place. We had all day breakfasts that were delicious and a good size. Would highly recommend.

Although it is still showing closed on the opening hours, this cafe is well worth a visit. We recently came after having it recommended to us and it certainly didn’t disappoint. Although the appearance may not do the cafe justice the food certainly makes up for it. Good quality breakfast in a safe and relaxed atmosphere, extra measures have been incorporated to comply with current requirements in relation to Covid 19 to ensure social distancing and no sharing of condiments.

This cafe was recommended to us and we thought we would give it a go. Been going most weeks now for at least 2 years. Food is amazing at very good prices. Service is as good as the food.

Had standard breakfast and the quality of the food was outstanding. Been there many times for steak pie, salad etc but today tried a breakfast for a change. I think I am right is saying the proprietor serves the very best breakfast in Bridlington. Not fatty or greasy, quality products and above all the food was clean, no burnt bits off a griddle and eggs spotless. Very appetising. Will return very soon.

Very welcoming , when ask if they do small breakfast ,, the reply was ,a childrens menu :) which was just enough for us ,three of us were there ,, The quality of the food was excellent,, we thoroughly enjoyed it ,, we could not believe how cheap it was :) so much so we returned the next morning ,, Had we not been coming home that day ,, we would have gone there every day , The Staff were so pleasant and helpful, Would Highly recommend a visit ,, Will definitely return next time in Bridlington,,

Made an unexpected trip here with my husband after a morning stroll due to the weather being gorgeous, both had a standard English breakfast and was not disappointed! All came out hot and didn’t look like it had been thrown in the microwave. The place looks slightly old and shabby but the food made up for it, by far one of the best breakfasts we’ve had will be coming back shortly

My wife and I went here today place was clean and tidy we had special breakfast each cost £4.60 for mine and £4.80 for the wife she has coffe that’s 20 pence more the breakfast was very good the only criticism I have is it isn’t big enough we were still hungry when we left

Boathouse breakfast special. Every time. Plus I don't know how it's so good, but boathouse toast is the best standard white toast in the world.

Couldn't go any where else for breakfast, it's fantastic. Cheap and great portion size, if you go here you'll safe yourself a few pounds but you may pile on the pounds. Great place to eat

Had a full English breakfast here , was the best brekky I've had , bacon was lovely , locally sourced sausages lovely , perfect eggs , all round excellent. Lovely lady who serves.

The breakfast special is the best in brid everything cooked to order nice and fresh and tasty and that goes for the other meals they do as well.

Son and daughter in law visiting for Christmas from Thailand, went to Boathouse for breakfast, daughter in law who is Thai loved the cooked breakfast, we all had the Breakfast Special, excellent value at £4.50!

Y los huevos estaban cocinados perfecto, preciosas playas doradas yemas también. Pruébalo ya estás paseando de la estación de tren de la ciudad. Merece la pena.

Excellent value for money, brilliant breakfasts, the staff are friendly and attentive. This is a proper traditional breakfast cafe where what you see is what you get, do not expect posh coffees and panini because you won't find them here

We've been going here for years and it is always a perfectly cooked breakfast. You may have a little wait as everything is freshly cooked an piping hot but is definitely worth the wait.

For breakfast or lunch The Boathouse is hard to beat. Top value top food. Always cooked fresh so expect to wait a little longer. George and Jenny's customers keep on coming back. My favourite, Roast beef with fresh veg and Yorkshires nom nom.

Every time we visit Brid we come here first thing without fail. Breakfast is always lovely, and the best bit is that they use proper butter not plastic marge on the toast. Lovely.

The service was excellent, they were thinking ahead and attentive, did not need reminding about anything. Very good breakfast at very reasonable price, tea included. OK, basic surroundings, but clean andcomfortable.

This cafe doesn't entice you in with fancy gimmicks, but once you've been in you won't doubt giving it a second visit! The quality of food is outstanding, and at such a low price. The breakfasts are cooked to perfection, and with freshest eggs we've ever seen! You are served very quickly and the food hasn't been left standing around. The staff are pleasant and friendly and we wouldn't hesitate to recommend it...simple but fantastic value for money. Well done for just being excellent at what you do.

Been here on numerous occasions can't fault it.. Yes the surroundings are basic but the food is cooked fresh and is definitely value for money, roast beef is a must fresh,.A no frills cafe which serves excellent food, will always return under its current owners.

Being just down the road from me, this is the place my partner and I probably visit the most when we pop out for breakfast. Our friends from out of town also enjoy it here when they are staying over. Usually very busy, I wouldn't hesitate in recommending the place.

Been coming here with friends and family for 12 years and can honestly say the sandards have remained very high. Best breakfast in brid by far, black pudding is cooked spot on.

if your after a proper English brekkie you wont get better than this place what it lacks in glamour it makes up for in bacon, egg and tea Ive used this place for years and would highly recommend it.

This is an old style cafe with bench seating on some tables.The food served here is was good quality and piping hot. Service was quite good and friendly.The layout is not the best as it's a narrow and long and the toilet is situated outside.While waiting for your food there is generally a TV on the counter for customers to watch and there is some great old pictures of Bridlington for you to absorb.Probably one of the best breakfasts in Bridlington.
