Riverside Cafe, Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire

Stopped here on our way home from a week in Yorkshire. There were 8 us us and we were made to feel extremely welcome.Breakfast was cooked fresh and the staff couldn't do enough for us. Would definitely make it a regular haunt if we were closer.

We came here for a breakfast after dropping our car off at a local garage. We will be coming again the breakfast was spot on, the staff are so friendly the coffee was lovely too and they made sure we was happy with the food and offered us refills of coffee. Could not fault this cafe!

Had a lovely breakfast in the Riverside Café this morning.We couldn't fault anything.The food was tasty and well presented.The staff were efficient and friendly.We will definitely be eating there again.The front entrance has three shallow steps.I don't know if there is any other disabled access.

Very nice delicious breakfast had to go to wanton arms the other day as I missed opening time at river view. I will deffo won’t bw returning to wanton arms il be making sure I get to river view before their closing times. Great staff, great food

We went here for a slap up breakfast before starting our long journey home to Cornwall and we weren’t disappointed. A very warm welcome, a very clean cafe and we could bring the dog in too. Lots to choose from on the menu and when the food came it was hot, plentiful, delicious and abundant! It did the job of setting us up for the journey and was a lovely experience to end our holiday in Yorkshire.

This is on a small industrial estate by the river Hull on the outskirts of Beverley, but it's no greasy spoon. Excellent breakfasts at excellent prices. If I had to find a niggle, it'd be that they don't do real coffee. Everything else was just dandy!

Come here often now friendly staff good prices nice food although only tried the breakfast best bacon sarny in Beverley i second that! Highly recommended

A great place for delicious, beautifully cooked food, spotlessly clean, fab value. Well hidden but worth finding!!

We stayed in Beverley for a couple of nights with our 2 young children. After being rudely awoken by our seemingly nocturnal kids, I searched for somewhere open at the crack of dawn for breakfast and found the Riverside Cafe online. We were worried it was just workmen and wouldn’t be child friendly when we pulled up outside but we couldn’t be more wrong! The staff were lovely, so friendly and were all smiles as our kids ran around the cafe. The breakfasts were so speedy, the toast and full English were amazing and really reasonably priced. We left with full bellies, a 2 year old that cleared her plate (this rarely happens!) and it was a lovely start to our trip. So good that we came back the next day too! Highly recommend this place

Stopped off here for lunch yesterday and really enjoyed it. Staff were really friendly and explained where to order/where to sit, etc. Went for the large all day breakfast after seeing nice photos on TripAdvisor!The cafe area is large and well set out with newspapers to read as well. Breakfast arrived quick and everything was hot and really tasty - so often at cafes you get really cheap sausages but these were great. Loved the black pudding too!Will be back!

Had sandwiches from here a few times and they are always great, had an issue with our order this morning but it was quickly rectified.

Been visiting the cafe for about a month now as I'm working in beverley. Food is brilliant. Better than just your normal standard cafe food. Always different specials on the go and the staff are outstanding. They cant do enough for you. Will be gutted when I have to go back home but I know if I ever return to Beverley where to go for a good meal. 10 out of 10.

Had another lovely Breakfast at the Café, Now owned again by Elaine. Food and Service excellent. More on the Menu now as well :D

The owner is now Elaine Larvin, gone are the days when you had to wait an hour to be served, Also Elaine has managed to get this cafe from a zero rated cafe to a five star rating after only two months of ownership.

Good basic food, toilets not the best though. For a quick bite to eat if you are in the area however this cafe is aimed at work people grabbing a bite to eat when on their lunch break or truckers as it is situated on an industrial estate.

La comida fabulosa en Riverside Café ya sea en el desayuno o la cena es deliciosa. sabroso y caliente, he incluso ordenados para la entrega casa a mi puerta a una vez que le he pedido, así que está bien. Gracias por un fantástico desayuno esta mañana 15 / 04 / 2017 con té de arriba que no me puedo quejar, realmente deliciosa. Puedo llevar a mi perro en así también dice salchichas riquísimas. Un buen café estilo antiguo escondido en las afueras de Beverley en el extremo de la carretera cerca de Luxemburgo Grovehill puente. Aunque está situado en un entorno de tipo industrial (y la mayoría de los clientes eran trabajadores locales), el lugar es el mercado para este tipo de café. Personal muy amable, un excelente menú variado y muy buena relación calidad-precio. Recomendado.

Qué pena, utilizamos este cafe y bajar durante años cada vez que visite mi ciudad natal, hoy será la última vez. Siempre me gustó el desayuno antes de la adquisición y renovación, hoy literalmente comimos porque tenía hambre y no hay otra razón. La salchicha era frío, el tocino lleno de bits, no negro de humedad en los granos y los tomates, hongos no bastante preparado. Los huevos bastante impresionante, lleva una habilidad especial para servir un huevo tan hecha fue crujientes por fuera pero todavía tenía huevo crudo blanco sobre la yema dura. Me conversó con la chica que pedimos y dije yo trabajo en una cafetería también en Wakefield, así que estaba muy impresionada de servirá como un pobre esfuerzo de un desayuno a unos 15 minutos más tarde. Ahora reconozco que era la hora de comer cuando pedí el desayuno pero si no fueron capaces de servir un desayuno a su estándar sólo tenían que decir y sin haber pedido algo más. Todo esfuerzo pobre.

Fuimos en la mañana muy temprano en la mañana (07:00) y en realidad fue abierto. Fuimos dentro y hicieron que nuestra pedidos para el desayuno y fue a sentarse cinco minutos más tarde llegó la comida y estaba delicioso. Lo curiosos es que el pan era ya en manteca y cortar por la mitad y en un rack tostadas!?

the is a poor cafe low quality coffee and low quality breakfast etc it was redone recently so gave it another go but no suprise was still terrible the coffee was better that was about it the rest poor as hell if it revamps ill revisit and update but until then avoid like the plague

Popped in last week for the first time, Proper full English breakfast with all the bits and a coffee, everything cooked perfectly and went down a treat, definitely be back and highly recommend.

I can't remember ever doing a review, but stand to be corrected but they are rare but I had to comment on the Riverside Cafe. Yesterday I had a take-away breakfast which in my opinion you won't beat for taste, value and quality! The cafe was extremely busy and that was for phone in orders, the phone never stopped never mind indoors but it still felt very relaxed and the staff despite being under pressure remained friendly and pleasant with smiles and courtesy. Overall it was just an extremely pleasant experience with good quality home cooked food that I really feel will be hard to beat anywhere. Thank you everyone we are still eating the take-away today......yum yum yum!! See you again soon and keep doing what you are doing and you won't go wrong....trouble is I don't want anyone to know or you'll get too busy and I'll have to book or queue.....lol. Best of luck. J

Sampled the 'beverley beck' breakfast and it was fantastic! Certainly ticked all the boxes! Will be back again!

Went solo to this place after seeing a lot of positive feedback on Facebook and was certainly notDisappointed! Fantastic customer service everything exactly as it should be! Excellent value for money! Excellent food and very well presented! Short wait on food but had to be expected when the queue is out the door for tables! I'd quite happily wait an hour for that breakfast! Will 100% be returning!

I found this place a few weeks ago as I was walking along the River Hull and had heard of it from friends on Facebook but it was closed the first few times I went, as I called later on and it is a morning - early afternoon cafe. Today I made a point of going when it was open and walked from home. I went for breakfast and it was a lovely sunny morning - great walk. Loved the cafe - lots of choice, menus clear and easy to see on the wall, special board, great welcome. Nice spacious seating areas with complimentary newspapers which I love. The sun was shining in through the many windows and it was fresh and clean. The food was prepared freshly so there was a little wait but worth it for the lovely dish brought to me at my seat. Nice fresh salad garnish that took up half the plate and I do love salad. I was offered dressing too. I understand there are free top-ups for tea and coffee but the large mug of lovely coffee was plenty for me. The building is art deco and some of the traditional features remain. I could imagine returning here often - the meal with coffee came to £4.50 and it seemed popular without being too busy. There was a toy/book box for children too, nice touch. Lovely place.

Visited Riverside Cafe on numerous occasions and always been the best breakfast in Beverley!! Definitely value for money! Everything cooked as you would like it! All their meals and food is fantastic! Excellent delivery service available also!

We were half hour early for the tip, so decided to pop in for a late breakfast. We were not disappointed. There was plenty of space to park despite other customers being present and the collocated car sales/gym. We both had Beverley Beck breakfasts at £5 a piece. This was the mid range breakfast, with two of everything included. We both thought that the breakfast was great value for money, well cooked and unlike some other breakfasts on offer in Beverley the sausages were thick and of a high standard. As coffee drinkers we had a choice of instant (free refills with the breakfast) or filter coffee for an extra £1. We chose the instant, which to be fair wasn't a bad cup. The staff were friendly and engaging. We were stuffed when we left, so no room for the large range of cakes and biscuits on offer; as tempting as they were. Definitely recommend as a place to go for your big breakfast needs.

Pretty much our stop off for brekkie/lunch everyday during the working week. Great food and a great team behind the counter. The steak burger specials are class.

I was working in Beverly (fitting a bathroom) and not knowing the area that well the customer recommened River side cafe. I must say I was well impressed, not only was the staff friendly and welcoming . And the food was outstanding!!! More like restaurant standard rather than a cafe and deserts are to die for . O and fresh coffee nice touch

Riverside Café is a great place to get a meal or just a sandwich. Family friendly and does some very good meals. Has a good car park and friendly staff. They also do delivery to your house if you want.

Great Food in a clean, well presented dining area! The staff are friendly and inviting and ensured a good experience for me and my young family, they even provided a box of toys & books to entertain my child during our meal! The food is priced competitively and I would strongly recommend this café to anyone!

Came in for a breakfast. Tea came out very slow. Forgot some of our items on the breakfast. We had finish the breakfast before the toast came. The waitress was on the phone while serving us. Won't be going back.

I had a under cooked breakfast raw bacon & slimey eggs it was vile & couldn't eat it,when I told the lady she was very off handed & replaced it with much of the same I wouldn't give that to my dog it was vile
