Riverside Cafe, Beverley in East Riding of Yorkshire

Ordered poached eggs on toast with a couple of hash browns, beans and a latte. The food was good quality and piping hot very nice. Only downside was the latte from a packet and not really to my liking. But overall it was well worth the visit.

Just wanted a cooked breakfast on our journey home from Bridlington and found this place on Google maps. Very friendly staff and a great English breakfast for me and the wife with a lovely mug of tea.Good atmosphere and a very clean restaurant.

Breakfast is fantastic but I would avoid busy times because it really does get full and your food does take awhile but it well worth waiting for

This cafe is worth 5 stars, not because it's a Michelin star restaurant but because it achieves what it aims to be.... and that is a small local cafe on the banks of the River Hill, that is situated on a small industrial estate. It's certainly not a greasy spoon! It's very clean. In fact it's spotless (mucky boots are barred! 😂 and the decor makes it light and airy. Food menu is to be expected and the full cooked breakfast was nice and plentiful! As I said, there's no reason to pick fault. Thank You. Ps. It's changed since the last time I was in.... about 20yrs ago when I used to work locally! 👍

Went with our friend we had breakfast and lasagne. Staff very friendly and brought sausages for our 🐶 xx would recommend this place without a doubt!!!!!! Go and try it for yourself.

omg this cafe is fabulous - don't let it's location put you off. The breakfast was delicious and the ladies working there were so lovely and friendly. We popped in here on our way home from our holiday - if ever in the area again we will be back

Love this basic cafe on industrial site, clean, plastic tablecloths and deservably full near capacity. The salads are surprisingly good, chopped peppers, tomato and red onion. Omelette massive, breakfasts hefty, coffee in a big mug. A hidden gem I'll use often.

This cafe is superb, I can’t recommend it enough. I always make a point of going whenever I’m in the area fishing. Staff are really friendly and polite, the atmosphere is clean, comfortable and warm. The breakfasts are the best I’ve experienced (and I’ve tried lots of cafe breakfasts).

No other cafe in Beverley can beat this one, always clean and tidy when I enter, friendly staff and great atmosphere, when ordering your food at the counter you always get what you asked for can't fault anything about this cafe

Called over to see my brother in Beverly. He said come on our kid will take you for a proper full English breakfast. He was not wrong. Spot on breakfast and very friendly staff that work there too. Can recommend riverview cafe to anyone in the area.

I have been here before , the food is really good ,piping hot and tasty and the ladies who run it are very friendly,compared to other places it is really good value for money, l had a mega breakfast , absolutely lovely. Definitely go again.

Tucked away but google maps takes you to the door plenty of parking breakfast was hot fresh and quick with ample amounts and proper size tea and cofffee mugs great value will return

I’m searching for a cafe to wait for my car to be fixed. This cafe popped on the map and is not far from that garage. I decided to walk there. It is easy to find, and it has a car park if you drive here. I ordered a small English breakfast and got chocolate. I took my time for a while. There a lot of people come to look like they worked in this area because it is an industrial and garages area. The food was good; also, the atmosphere was friendly and cosy 😊

Pleasant staff and the food and service is good.

What an excellent little café! You need to know it's here though, as it's tucked away on an industrial estate. Bet all the bikers know about it though! Serves a great breakfast at a good price. Staff are brilliant, so welcoming and proactive. Real pro's who know their stuff, can't do enough for you, polite, friendly and great at their job. One of the nicest places I've stopped for a brekky. Lovely staff! Lovely big mug of char, which gets refilled free and more rounds of toast proffered free too. This brekky will set you up for the day and the welcoming staff will send you on your way with a big, content smile on your face. Dog friendly too. Vegetarian options available. I'm definitely coming back here. Highly recommended.

Bit of a wait for breakfast but what can you expect when it's freshly cooked. I had the large and it filled me up for the day and lovely it was

Visited for breakfast as a group of 5 adults and 2 children, (family from Canada who wanted to have a proper full English before going home!). All left more than satisfied, excellent food and service from all the staff, friendly and helpfull. Large portions with offers of more toast and drink refills, excellent value, couldn't have asked for more. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to anybody after good grub with no frills but in a spotlessly clean, warm and welcoming atmosphere. Thanks 👍

Just passing through and wanted a dog friendly place to eat. The food was great and good value. The staff were really lovely, friendly people. They even spoilt our little dog with dome food and water after she kindly peed on their floor (how embarrassing). Definitely worth a visit if you're passing with your pooch.

Good to find a proper cafe! It's been around for a while but first time I'd popped in for a spot of lunch. Ordered a large sausage and egg sandwich and it is large, as was the coffee! Good prices, see attached photo of menu. Easy to get to if walking over Swinemoor or from the beck along the river Hull.

After reading some good reviews of this Cafe, we decided to have breakfast here after arriving by ferry in Hull. Really good food, very friendly staff. Glad I ordered a small breakfast, as it was plenty big enough for me. We will keep this breakfast place for next time.

A convenient cafe on an industrial area, next to the river. Simple, everyday food. Reasonably priced, and generous. Everyone seems very pleasant and welcoming. I'd definitely call in again.

My partner took me for my first visit which was a take out. We waited in the car after ordering and a member of staff brought our order to the car. She got me a full English which was absolutely gorgeous, everything cooked just how I liked it. My partner got a breakfast in a huge breadcake which looked amazing as well. Why hasn't she brought me here before I asked myself? I really recommend this place and will be back soon.

My husband and I were looking for somewhere to have breakfast whilst travelling through Beverley...it is a bit off the beaten track but well worth it! We had 2 Mega breakfasts...the Husband finished off what I couldn't eat and we were both very happy with the quality of the food, cost and service! It is a lovely Cafe, and we would definitely make the effort to come again when nearby! Highly recommended!
